The quality is exactly what i would expect and the prices are very good. They will also turn around your request if you need something quickly. The jeans that belong to my Dad were hemmed without him being there which was very helpful. They were partially hemmed on one side by another person and this shop gladly took them, corrected the work that had already been done and hemmed the other leg as well. I highly recommend.

Dropped a dress off on 11/20/24 for alterations. During this appointment, I let the seamstress know…read morethat I may need to cancel this alteration and would let them know as soon as possible. She acknowledged this and agreed to let her know ASAP due to them being on a holiday break from 11/21-12/2. Not even 24 hours later, I called and left a voicemail to cancel the alteration. I called again on 11/22 and left another voicemail to ensure my message was received. I received a text 11/22 from the business that my message was received, and I could pick up my dress on 12/3/24. I went to the establishment on 12/3 to pick up my *unaltered* dress, only to find out the seamstress was actively altering it... Ben (co-owner?) confirmed that the text I received acknowledging my request to cancel was not automated. Ben only offered to refund me for the dress ($99) when I paid $185.44 for the alterations. Finally, Ben agreed to refund me for the alterations but not the dress. I am still awaiting the refund for the alterations. Neither staff member was apologetic for this mistake, and I'm now out the cost of the dress -- that was going to be returned but now cannot due to their mistake -- because they couldn't be bothered to correct it. They did not offer to return the dress either. TLDR: Columbus Alteration Co. acknowledges the request to cancel w/in their policy timeframe and alters dress anyway. They are not apologetic whatsoever and make little offer to amend this. This dress was to be returned to Birdy Grey as it was no longer being worn and now I am out that cost due to their mistake.
