I decided I was going to get acrylic nails and let my nails grow out. I left there with these big huge chunky, wide globs on my nails and two days later I went somewhere and had them taken off. At the time that the man was putting the acrylic nails on I knew it was going to be a hot mess. The nail was so wide it actually went over top of my skin. I repeatedly said I really want them thinner I don't want them to look like fake nails could you make them slimmer and's not so thick? During that time I was asking for the nails to be slimmer and to fit my nail properly the owner Nancy was mimicking me in her native language; basically saying yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and rolling her eyes. I went to another manicurist in Westminster she remove the nails after two days. I never said a word to her about my dissatisfaction with them. But when she looked at them she said oh my gosh these things look horrible how did this happen? I have returned to the manicurist in Westminsterr every three weeks diligently, my nails are beautiful they're actually my own with gel polish, no acrylic! I'm extremely happy with my hands and nails! I will never return to Royal Nails for a mani or pedi.!

They touch other people's feet and then touch your hand without washing. I've been to many salons. This is by far the filthiest one. Do NOT go here. If you care about your health, stay far away. This place should be investigated and shut down.

They take advantage of her so much because of her kindness. But there is a limit, my aunt quit working here. Yesterday she texted to the owner that today she would come to get the paycheck for the period 5/5 to 5/13. However, the owner refused to pay her on time since they said she must wait till her husband comes back from Vietnam trip while he's still working in the salon now. He goes to vietnam for 2-3 weeks. Which is nonsense.... Today my aunt comes to get her stuffs and asked for the paycheck. She need money to support for her family ( paying rent, buying food and gas...)She deserved to get pay for working hard for 10 hours a day here. Everyday her husband had to drive her for an hour to this nail salon. The owner is so unreasonable. They said when my aunt comes to the salon today. They refused to pay her for her paycheck period. Then her husband came into the salon. They switched to tell him that they would mail the check to her apartment. The mail is sent to apartment easily getting lost. My aunt also doesnt believe them anymore. Besides, no one knows what happened if the check's lost and they may say they already send the paycheck out. The most convenient way is to pick it up. My aunt asked them if she would be back next week to pick up the check. They refused. It looks like they don't want to give her money or try to delay in paying her. They refuse to pay on time and the way to deliver the payment is not convenient. I, on behalf of my aunt, called in to ask gentlely. The lady owner refused to talk and said if I want to discuss , come to the nail salon. We don't have free time to go beg for money we worked hard to earn. I am writing here to let them read it and for customer to know that life is short please do right things and treat people well. Be a human!!!! To the owner: please prepare her paycheck and We come to pick it up at the nail salon. If you don't call her or text her to come to pick up the check either next Monday or Tuesday, I will make a claim to the court and file a case to department of labor for your violation. I file a wage claim with your state's labor department or the federal government.
