The customer service was great!! This was my first time visiting this restaurant and they had a lot of options so it took me a while to order. I asked questions about ingredients (because of my allergies ) and they were answered with pleasure. I felt comfortable with the answers I was provided and that means a lot. The oxtails were good and, I would consider buying it again if they were to add 5 more meat bones in the meal. But for the price point of $25, 5 meat bones not worth $25. Perhaps the most delicious location of Golden Crust - i've ever eaten at, hands-down. This family owned franchise was immaculate and had some of the freshest Jamaican food, outside of South Florida. The restaurant seating area was closed due to Covid so I only took out but one of the managers there was so helpful and friendly he wrapped the styrofoam to go containers with Saran-wrap - so it would. So YES i was so glad to see a fast casual Caribbean restaurant (although I believe it's a chain) near where I was working at that morning. There are daily specials for around $5.99 but I was lured in by the sight of oxtails, which is basically double the price. The flavor on those oxtail with the sauce and rice was so tasty. I also got a beef patty and it was so tasty when heated up! It went well with the sweet grapefruit ting (my first ting ever) which is basically a sugary sweet La Croix (Lol). I like to think of myself as somewhat of a Caribbean food connoisseur and I have certain spots that I frequent because I love the food and they never let me down. I have now moved a bit far from my favorite spot so I came here for convenience. first of all they have a drive thru, that made me quite excited I must admit Excitement died b/c either the speaker was broken or the person taking orders was broken but I had to repeat my order multiple times. I went with the stew chicken with rice and peas and steamed veggies, and a side of mac. I really enjoyed the mac, I'd definitely get that again. Everything else was meh. The veggies were bland and boring and the chicken was a little dry. The meal just lacked that authentic carribean/Jamaican flavor. I'm easily a fan of this place for three main items: Curry Goat, Oxtails and BBQ Pork Ribs (in that order). My family visit recently and ordered the large stew chicken, it was skin, fat, bone and over cooked and SMALL PORTION SIZE. A lot of Golden Krust chains can be a hit or miss but this location was actually pretty good. This restaurant has the option of drive-through, pick up, or order inside the restaurant. I chose to order inside. There is a table barrier so it's hard to read the menu but the employees were nice enough, and the lady let me know of the prices. They have four choices of rice: rice and peas, white rice, vegetable rice, or yellow rice. I received a large portion of curry goat and another order of brown stew chicken. I appreciated the huge portions. I paid at the register, but beware that they now implement an extra service charge of 4%, which I did not appreciate. Overall, the food was plentiful and fresh, and the beef patty was tasty as well! I came around 6:00 on a Friday evening and luckily just beat the dinner rush crowd. read more

I've driven by a couple of times and including tonight, it looked empty. My aunt was very skeptical because she claimed empty restaurants are a sign of their quality but we were craving something Caribbean so we decided to take a chance. The place is not pretty but it's clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. They have a hot bar and offer sizes small and large with a meat option, rice option, cabbage and platains. The person behind the glass will ask if you want gravy on your rice and you will say yes. Oh my goodness! The oxtail gravy with rice and peas, amazing! My favorite dish here is the jerk pork but everything we tried was good. In regards to an empty place, it's not. People kept pouring in, mainly for take- out, but it never stopped.
