The wing spot! It's hard to find a wing spot that's flavorful, small in size ( wings aren't to look like those big turkey legs lol) and crispy but Wings & Philly got them! We have visited a few times and they never disappoint. Our family always gets the lemon pepper, Buffalo and sweet chili wings - YUM! We have also tried the shrimp and the Philly , all really good! Service has been good for our takeout order and timely! We haven't dined in but there are a few tables inside for those that want to eat inside. Definitely recommend !

The lady taking orders could not speak English. It was near impossible to place and order according to my husband. We ordered 2 Philly's & fries. It took 10 minutes for her to understand that order. Food was mediocre at best. Fries were not seasoned. Just nasty, waste of money. Search for a decent philly in Gwinnett continues.

Wings and Philly is a nice little mom/pop owned restaurant that caters to many tastes. It's located in a restaurant strip, sandwiched between Planet Smoothie and Marco's Pizza, just opposite the Publix shopping center. I've tried wings, Philly and gyro combos here before, and I have to say i've been happy with all of my selections. The Gyro is pretty monstrous, and if you make it a combo, at just under $8, they'll throw in a ton of fries and a drink for you as well. The wings here have always had great flavor, but the sizes of the wings are definitely hit or miss. Sometimes they'll have just enough meat on the bone to really enjoy, and other times you wonder where the rest of your wing went! But the flavor (at least in regards to the lemon pepper) will have you finger licking for sure. In addition to lemon pepper, they also have Teriyaki, Honey BBQ, Garlic Pepper, Braised & plain, and a limited time Ranch flavor as of 8/13/15. My visit today saw me get the Ultimate Philly cheese combo, that was roughly $10 after tax. What makes it ultimate is the extra cheese. On the sub, you have pretty tender meat (and you can choose from lean steak, chicken or vegetarian) with onions, peppers, mushrooms white cheese (though they look like Kraft singles) and mayo. The Philly is on a white loaf that looks like it's an 8 to 10 inch sub, though I didn't pull out any rulers. I did enjoy the flavor of the philly but the bread was a little less firm than i'd like. Not bad overall though! With all combo orders you can get an order of fries, that are crinkle cut, and a generous amount. They come unseasoned, but you have your choice of season salt, regular salt, or no salt on the counter when they give you your order. The fries aren't greasy at all but didn't have that crunch that I like. If you don't feel like fries, you can sub them out for fried rice. Customer service has always been friendly and accommodating, but sometimes service can be slow. I have walked in for a to go order in the evening and sat there for 30 minutes...so call ahead just to be safe. It's a small store, but there are a few tables, although you can't cram a ton of people in here (not more than 20 i'd say). Parking can be tight depending on when you go and how many cars are there, because it's not the hugest lot, and there are two exits. One leading right out to sugarloaf, with the other wrapping around the next door Mickey D's to get to the red light. Wing and Philly is a nice addition to the area and if you want some good rib sticking food and lots of it, they may have you covered.

The very nice lady behind the counter.

From the moment my daughter her friend and I walked in, we were treated like we were a burden instead of paying customers. The attitudes from the employees were rude, cold, and completely unwelcoming. Nobody seemed happy to help, and the entire atmosphere felt miserable. After waiting 10-15 minutes for our food to be "freshly cooked," I expected at least hot food. Instead, I was handed a turkey burger that was barely lukewarm and french fries that were cold, limp, and already wrinkling like they had been sitting forever. To make it worse, the fries looked like nothing but the tiny leftover scraps from the bottom of the potato bag. It honestly felt like they just threw together whatever they didn't want to serve anyone else. We sent the fries back, and when they brought them out again, they were only slightly warmer than before -- still not hot like fries should be straight out of the fryer. What's even crazier is that the manager brought the food back to the table and STILL never apologized. No concern, no accountability, nothing. That alone says everything about the customer service at this place. Whatever happened to quality food and decent customer service? Customers are paying hard-earned money and deserve hot food and respectful treatment -- not cold leftovers, terrible attitudes, and management that acts like it doesn't care. Extremely disappointing experience, and I will definitely think twice before ever coming back.

I was already eyeballing the Portobello burger and cowboy burger before he suggesed them. So, we chose those 2 along with the onion rings and spicy fried pickles. I didn't get the cooks name but she was great. We had to tell her she made that food RIGHTTTT. OMG, everything was delicious. Both burger was full of flavor and juicy. Now, I don't normally don't go for onion rings that's Misters thing. But when a tried one I kept trying them. The chipotle ranch sauce with it was the best. My spicy fried pickle was fried to perfection. I also got a beer. Brook suggested a few for me to try. I ended up getting the Bravazzi Liomonatta. Which is light and refreshing. Delicious!!! I also didn't get the other gentleman's name who made sure everything was good with our visit. Y'all the whole staff tonight was great. We left with a full happy stomach and the assurance that we WILL return. I think this will be our later night spot.

The guy working the register is not really helpful and I think it may be because he doesn't speak english that well and tries to hide it. I asked if my bun could be toasted well and if the burger can be cut in half and he didn't add anything on the register, then when I stared at him waiting for him to add it, he dismissively turned to the cook and said "bun". When I got the burger, the bun wasn't really toasted and it wasn't cut in half, so I sent it back. The cook was very nice about it and brought it back out with no issues. The burger was good, but all of the food was really greasy. While eating the burger, grease began to drip down my hand and the fries/onion rings still looked wet. I ate this for dinner and woke up with the absolute worst headache that lingered for 3 days... Also, just a heads up that it is a la carte, so the drink and sides were an additional cost. The impossible was an upcharge, they don't sell small drinks, then the fronion rings all came to be about $20, which was pretty expensive. The location is tucked in a Kroger parking lot and wasn't busy when I went, which was later in the evening. The inside was very clean, nice and organized. It was also quiet inside, which I liked. It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.
