During COVID, of course, like all other businesses the manufacturing of the Window Treatments have taken a week or so more for a specific item. However, it positively is worth the wait and I am pleased with every single window treatment. The best part of using Duff's is I don't have to worry or think about anything once I call to place an order. The measurements are promptly taken, and I get help picking out the specific type of window treatment, and then I can take it off of my to-do list because in a few weeks every window will be complete. All I have to do is open my door to let the window treatments come in to be installed. We have a variety of kinds of treatments and all are spectacular. Since the company has grown from the first time we used it, additional staff has been hired to help with installation. And the hired staff installers were in and out of our home in know time. I love that the company takes such pride in doing great work and helping me to pick out or suggest a particular kind of window treatment for a room based on its purpose. For example, we have beautiful roller blinds in two windows that allow light to come into the home but doesn't allow someone outside to see in. We have two honeycomb blinds in rooms that were getting a lot of sun; these have cut down on the temperature change. And in our media room we installed blackout honeycomb blinds that absolutely work --when down the room is totally blacked out and a great for movie night. In most other rooms and garage we have the regular high quality white faux wood blinds. We had these in our first home and these ended up being our favorite! I highly recommend them for any room and they really go with any decor. And I will be calling them back to door our southern shutters for our dining room as soon as we are ready. We had some of these shutters in our first home and it is a capital investment in your home that increases your homes value. These shutters really impress buyers!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after months of frustration, I feel others should know about…read moremy experience with Mid State Doors. We purchased two very expensive doors from them: a front storm door with sliding glass panels that open to a screen for fresh air, and a wrought iron security door. I was disappointed to discover that the security door requires a key to lock and unlock from both the inside and outside. While my husband may have ordered it that way, he is disabled and did not fully understand the safety implications. I tried explaining that this setup creates a serious concern for our family in the event of an emergency. Although I eventually accepted that situation, what happened next was even more disappointing. A part on our front screen door broke while it was still under warranty. What should have been a simple warranty repair turned into months of phone calls, office visits, and broken promises. Every time I called, I was told to speak with Bill. Later, I learned Bill only works on Fridays, yet I was repeatedly told he was "out of the office" or "at the bank." I never received clear communication or a sense that resolving my issue was a priority. I have over 20 years of customer service experience, and I know how important it is to keep your word. When customers spend their hard-earned money on premium products, they deserve prompt, respectful service after the sale. Instead, I felt like my warranty repair wasn't important because larger commercial accounts took priority. I explained that both of my children were coming home from the military and that our air conditioning had stopped working. I simply wanted the screen door repaired so we could let fresh air into our home. Despite explaining our circumstances several times, nothing seemed to move the process forward. As a business owner myself, I believe customer service doesn't end when the sale is complete. It's about treating people with respect, honoring your commitments, and standing behind the products you sell. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Mid State Doors. The doors themselves may be quality products, but based on my experience, the after-sale customer service and warranty support have been extremely disappointing.

Short version: My $355 glass replacement turned into an $1800 glass replacement…read more Long version: I am giving a two star review and not a one star review because the two women who work at the front desk were very polite and responsive. The delivery team of two men was also kind and professional however the glass maker was probably one of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I called All Star Glass to see what their typical wait time for replacing a piece of glass was and they notified me 24-48 hours. After reading the Google reviews it seemed that this was the norm for them. This was important to me because I dropped the glass off on a Monday and needed it by the latest Thursday because I had a flight out of Nashville at the end of the week. I also didn't want to not have a front window for my living room for the entire week especially when I was not there. No worries however because I was told it would be done Tuesday. After receiving no update on my glass, I called them back and was told it would be done the next day (Wednesday). After again receiving no update on Wednesday, I called again and was told it would be done Thursday. By the time Thursday rolled around I called back and was told it would be done Friday even though I made it clear early in the week that I had a flight to catch. When I called Thursday, the woman at the front desk handed the phone over to the glass maker who immediately started yelling and getting very angry, telling me that NO ONE told me the glass would be done in 24-48 hours (just read the other comments. This seems to be the norm) and that HE told me it would be done Friday (I would have never agreed to this in the first place considering I had a flight and wouldn't be able to get the glass on Friday). The glass maker continuously called me a liar, yelling at me, threatening to hang up and not make the glass, saying that no one told me 24-48 hours despite the fact that I was told MULTIPLE times that this is how long the order would take. I tried being cordial as I shared my frustrations of needing to now change my flight but the glass maker didn't care, continuing to throw personal jabs and calling me a liar, referring me to the worst customer he has ever dealt with. Every time I tried calming him down (because I really did need the glass) he continued throwing personal shots at me. Very unprofessional. $355 for glass and $1500 later for having to change flights at the last second, the glass is installed. I would strongly recommend that the owner of All Star Glass gets a new glass maker as the current one is not well.
