My issue was with replacement of plastic pulls- I hope no one out there has an actual structural or mechanical issue with shades installed by Brentwood Blinds! This company installed blinds in our bedroom. I ordered, chose fabric, and they installed fabric roman blinds. The whole point was to make our bedroom dark (south and west exposure), because I can't sleep with light in the room, which of course I made clear to them The blinds are beautiful, and the installation process was fine, but there are gaps all the way around all the windows. I called to ask about it (they installed during the day...) and they told me it's unavoidable because of the size of the window and the fabric I chose. COULD THEY NOT HAVE TOLD ME THAT WHEN I WAS MAKING MY SELECTION??? But no, they didn't mention it before they installed, which IMO means they knew it would happen and didn't tell me, or were making excuses. *Note the gap at the top in the photo!! So I have had to live with the semi-darkened room even tough I paid for Hunter Douglas blackouts. Fast forward 2 years, and the pulls start breaking, so my husband calls to ask for replacement pulls since they are Hunter Douglas and under warranty. Yes, the pulls are free from Hunter Douglas, but you have to pay for a service call on your almost $5000.00 shades because Hunter Douglas supplies free replacements (we called and they sent them) but we need more cash. 3 stars for the fact that they did deliver HD blinds, which they didn't make, but the actual installation of the blinds they should have told me not to get was fine. In fact, going up and changing it to 2 because good installation is not enough. We all pay up for service! I can get Hunter Douglas at Home Depot! I think.... So, I now need blinds in my kitchen because there are new owners next door, and I will go with Classic Blinds, a well respected shop here in the Nashville area. BTW: when we called Hunter Douglas and told them we needed new pulls and our local dealer wanted to charge *well over* $100.00 (pushing 200$) for "coming out to take a look" before replacement, Hunter Douglas said that was ridiculous and sent us replacements direct. Brentwood blinds has poor customer service and does not stand behind their product.

We decided to go with 2 types of blinds, blackout shades for the bedrooms and bamboo-style roller shades for the rest of the house. It took about 4 weeks to get them, but they are beautiful and well made. I'm happy with the look and the quality of the installation. I would recommend them! My windows face a street that has so many lights on it in downtown Franklin, it was hard to fall and stay asleep. Bloomin' Blinds installed them today. Their service from my first contact through installation was second to none - A++++ in my opinion. The company got back to me almost immediately when I initially contacted them online. Once I knew when the blinds were scheduled to arrive I set up my installation date. On the morning of the installation, I received a text message telling me who was coming, a picture of one of the installers and the estimated time of arrival. When they arrived at my home, everything went like clockwork and the whole process was seamless. Kody and his partner were friendly, clean and neat and lots of fun to work with. The cost for installation was extremely affordable as well. I don't think you can go wrong hiring this company for your installation, period!

    Customer service was aweful! Had an appointment at 1 pm with Scott. He arrived before me so called…read moreto let me know. I apologized for running late and said it would take about 35 more min until arrival. Meantime, asked Scott to proceed with measurements of specific windows since the house was open and I didn't need to be there for that part. My day was extremely challenging and I considered rescheduling but realized I had not saved Scott's number, did not know which office he worked out of. I initially, called a general Budget Blinds number that rang to a central scheduler. However, got there 45 min late. Scott greets me with sarcasm "that was hardly 30 minutes." I apologized again and shared a little about my day, 84 yr old mom in rehab with broken leg, business very wild and so much going on today! Scott replied, "common courtesy would have helped." Apparently, my sincere apology wasn't good enough for him. I was so offended by his lack of empathy, disregard for my personal choice to afford him the chance to earn my business and the fact that he made me feel reprimanded. I reminded Scott that I apologized and it appeared that he wanted to argue and rudely said "so do you want to just move on?" I thanked Scott for his time, said no thanks and left. What a horrible memory that occurred in the Kitchen of my new home! If this type of attitude is acceptable to Budget Blinds, who needs them? Certainly, not me.

They came out on July 24th to measure for a…read moresingle plantation shutter, told me it usually takes 2-4 weeks, but due to COVID, it could take up to 8 weeks (for a single shutter for our front door!). It has now been almost 11 weeks and still nothing. After emailing a few weeks ago, and calling (with no return call) we we're told it was scheduled to arrive on September 30th and they would schedule install "a day or 2 later." Today is Oct 7th and nothing!
