Golden Restoration & Construction did a fabulous job remodeling my two bedrooms condominium and when I bought a new house I hired them again. Gary the owner and general contractor came to meet me personally and discussed all the work I wanted to do. He made good recommendations to the ideas my wife and I already had. He suggested the resources where to buy or order quality products, such as tiles, stones, electrical parts, paint etc. Gary and his crew helped to choose the right products and went with me to the stores. He also assisted on some unrelated issues that came up. Gary personally showed up at my place almost everyday to check on the progress of the work. I found the guys that work for Gary to be all professional, polite and they all did great quality work. I am extremely happy with the end results. Even now after a couple years Gary regularly calls and asks if everything is OK. In a few times when I needed help with the issues around the house, he was able to send somebody right away. I don't know how our previous review disappears. We were talking with our neighbor the other day and their kitchen happens to be remodeled by this company as well. Our project by them was the mater bathroom. Our neighbor's problems with Gary are even more traumatic. We both thought the experience with Gary was a nightmare. He over-promised and under-/not- delivered. When issues arise, he argues loudly and doesn't not take responsibilities. We had to hire other contractors to finish up his work. Once he has you sign the contract, he moves on to the next sale. not ethical, no honesty but a greedy salesman. Even if you really want to use his service, don't sign the arbitration clause. So that you would not give up your legal right. But what he counts on is the fact that homeowners just want to close that chapter and forget about him. No one would really go to small claim court to sue him. So the end of day, save yourself some energy and time. Hire someone else to do the job. read more

We hired Golden Restoration based on high Yelp reviews, and Diamond Certification. We only had two estimates done, and the second company never even responded. Our job was quite small, tiling and painting a bathroom, so I guess the other company wasn't interested. Anyway, Harry was so helpful and made excellent recommendations. The bathroom turned out beautifully and we had our living room and hall painted, too. All the workers were very good, and Harry checked to make sure we were happy as the project moved along. We liked them so much that we have had them paint the bedroom and do some work on our kitchen cabinets. Very small jobs, but Harry didn't mind and we are so happy with the results! We will call Harry again when we have our kitchen painted. We recommend them highly. read more

Gary and his company remodeled our kitchen last year and we have been enjoying it ever since. Everyone was very professional and the job was done on time and within budget. Gary's prices are very competitive and his workers always kept the work area clean when they were finished at the end of the day. We had Gary put in a new backyard deck with drainage and the drainage system is working great now that we've gotten some rain this month. Before there used to be a "lake" underneath our deck during rainy season. We also had some recessed lights installed, our skylight well re-textured and painted, and a new shower installed in the master bathroom. Everything was done efficiently and professionally. We just remodeled our bathroom using Golden Restoration and Construction. The house was built in 1950 and the bathroom needed help. The shower had to be replaced, the tiles were cracked and the floor was in poor shape. Everything had to be replaced from the floor to the ceiling. After some research, we chose Golden Restoration and Construction. Their estimate was fair and they were highly recommended. They did a fantastic job! Gary and his crew did a great job, first on our master bath remodel, then we progressed to master closet, then flooring, and for good measure, moderizing the master bedroom with new lighting and a wall mounted tv (hidden wiring thru the attic). We were so happy, that we next gave him our kitchen to remodel a few months later. Our home is early 1970's and the kitchen had remained untouched. In one word, the kitchen was depressing. The guys were given a challenging project and transformed it into an unbelievable gourmet kitchen with a beautiful open concept. We never did a remodeling project so weren't sure what to expect but these people were extra dedicated and come to us with the plans to get us everything we wanted.
