I've been a patient of Dr. Camp's for a few years. I started out investigating indigestion and work…read morerelated stress (too many years of all nighters at startups in the valley, eating poorly etc.) Dr. Camp was the first doctor who took a Sherlock Holmes approach to figuring out what the real problems were rather than just giving me a Tagamet and telling me cut down on my work hours. Digestive system analysis found lack of beneficial bacteria in the gut, leading to poor digestion and nutrition. With targeted nutritional supplements and dietary change my ulcer-like symptoms disappeared and even my cholesterol drastically improved. He's a great doctor to deal with in that he can handle followup consultations via Skype video conferencing if it doesn't really require a personal appearance to discuss test results. I'd strongly recommend him if you want some "out of the box" thinking on your health. Be warned however, he's not in anyone's network, but then again after the number Obamacare did on health insurance, who is ^-^

I started going to Dr. Camp's office in March of this year. I saw the Nurse Practitioner, Marya…read more and sat down for my first appointment. During my appointment, I explained all of my concerns and for the first time in a long time someone understood what I was going through and did not tell me that " you are fine" which I had heard from other doctors. Since, then I have taken tests and have had a couple of appointments and we figured out what was going on with me. I have been very impressed by her dedication and professionalism. Anytime that I would call or email with a question she was there with an instant response. I also appreciate her ability to think "outside of the box" which when you have hormonal issues, hypothyroidism, and extreme adrenal fatigue that is very important because there isn't one prescription for everyone. Currently, I am doing everything that she has advised for me to do and I am feeling better. Based on her advise, I have started to live a healthier life. She has helped me to see how important good nutrition is and she helped me to get on a regular program with my vitamins and supplements. If it wasn't for her, I would still be exhausted, experiencing major PMS symptoms, and have horrible digestion issues. I feel like I am on the right track for me and I am finally feeling healthy again. I would recommend anyone that has issues with thyroid, hormones, etc. to go to this office. I am very thankful that I made the decision to go.

The office experience has…read moregone down though and the staff in the front have been quite short and rude recently after the acquisition with Amazon. The front office staff at strawberry is impatient and inflexible now and almost defeats the purpose of when we signed up years ago Lab service is poor and if you need an outside doctor to provide electronic copies of lab work instead of bringing written orders in. Sometimes you cannot get this from specific UCSF hospital departments making the process really difficult now if you live in Marin and can't commute into the city without help. The new policy is documents loaded 48 hours in advance or driving in orders to be processed 48 hours in advance. I have switched to QuestMobile for blood draws. The phlebotomist will come to the house within a day or two after getting orders from your doctor or the hospital all at home and without an unhelpful front desk.

Our experience at the Corte Madera office has been positive, but at the newish Mill Valley Office, experiences have been mixed. Once my daughter came in during her school break, and she booked same-day care online. Easier and better than urgent care. Another visit, I came for walk-in lab testing. The lab at the Mill Valley Office has fairly limited morning hours meanwhile my lab tests required fasting. I arrived at opening to twenty other patients who had been fasting, and was quoted over an hour wait. I was told I could come back in the afternoon (there was no way I could continue to fast till late afternoon.) I opted to get in the car and drive to their Northgate office, to test. Since the Corte Madera office is consolidating and patients will be sent to the Strawberry office, here's hoping this office will have expanded lab hours and the staffing needs of this office will be supported by Amazon, their parent company, to reduce these significant waits.

She makes her patients feel at ease, is very knowledgeable, and gives balanced and measured advice. She also goes above and beyond for her patients...I was in a pickle at this year because I found out my ob/gyn practice didn't accept doulas (they hadn't informed me, and I was 3 weeks away from delivering). Unfortunately most of the other practices were already booked and not accepting new patients. Dr Dijkstra empathized with my predicament, made a few calls and found me a solution. I was relieved and grateful to both her and her staff.

I saw her recently for cardiac symptoms that I was experiencing (as a young and athletic female, I'm not exactly your typical patient who has heart troubles). Dr. Tagliaferri listened to my concerns, asked key questions, and then thoughtfully explained potential diagnoses...it was easy to speak to her and I could clearly understand what she was thinking. I really appreciated that she did not dismiss my concerns because I am an atypical patient; she was very thorough. I am so, so glad I went to see her because I was referred (very quickly due to Dr. Tagliaferri's perseverance - she got my appointment moved up by a week and a half!) to a top-notch cardiologist who is very concerned about ruling out a serious issue. She even told me questions that I should ask the cardiologist! Dr. Tagliaferri really took the time to listen, investigate and understand what I was experiencing and I am truly grateful for her knowledge, compassion, and attentiveness. It makes me feel so much better to know I can put my health in such good hands.
