Our carry-out order was wrong. Called the store once we got home and noticed it-their cook claimed he fixed the order correctly but he was lying. We ordered egg foo young one way and got it another way. The store said if we drive back to the store they will give us the correct order-I advised we were not driving all the way back to their store-advised it was their error and they should deliver the correct order to our home-they refused, offered no other remedy and said they'll tell their cook to watch it next time. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REGARDING RECTIFYING THEIR MISTAKE. If you do order from this place make sure your order is correct before you leave the store. read more

Super salty rice, dumpling sauce is too tangy, like 1 flavor in every item we ordered had an ingredient that was too over powering to be enjoyable. And why is everything deep fried here? Deep fried dumplings are not good. Over all not impressed. We will not be dining here again. read more

Food is fast, hot, and fantastic. We moved to Lee's Summit 20 years ago and still drive to Blue Springs for our golden egg roll fix. Glad they moved back to the old location and focused on carry out. Beats Legends of Asia but people in Blue Springs seem to love buffets. read more

This is your basic Chinese restaurant, expect classic menu items. The food is good and the portion sizes are large. The prices are low. Two can eat here, appetizers and entrees, for about $20. The service is fairly quick. I've been here several times and will continue to go back. read more

So very disappointed. I have ordered carryout from this location for years. Today, I was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes. Once I got there I was told it would be an additional 10 minutes. 22 minutes later, I got my food but they did not include the extra sauce. After waiting more than 35 minutes for my meal, they charged me an additional $1.62 for the sauce I had originally requested. I asked what was going on and why things work going awry and both the young man who took my order and the young lady who gave me my order, chose to completely ignore me. Add insult to injury, I got home and it was not what I had ordered, and the sauce I purchased had spilled in the bag. The lid had come off.! :( read more

After reading the other two reviews on here, my husband and I tried this restaurant this past Saturday at about 1:00 in the afternoon...definitely not impressed. The interior looks like a country diner with flowered 80's wallpaper....It was bright and appeared to be relatively clean. The buffet was not visible when we first walked in and as we stood just inside the door wondering what to do, a woman yelled across the restaurant to sit anywhere. We sat. In a moment, she came and brusquely took our drink order and walked away....very unwelcoming. We wandered over to the two short buffet tables which were more than half empty....the food that was there looked like it had been there quite awhile. I asked her if they were going to refill the sweet and sour chicken. She snapped, "In minute!" I went ahead and got noodles, chicken in a sticky sauce and a spring roll that looked burnt. The noodles were bland...the chicken had been sitting so long it was like jerky...and the spring roll wasn't burnt, it was just darkened by the grease that had soaked through....it was gross! I finally got some sweet and sour chicken and it was not bad, but it was not good either...basically just edible. My husband was finishing what was on his plate and the unfriendly waitress walked by and sat our check and (broken) fortune cookies on the table...she never broke her stride.....no eye contact....not a word. In just a moment (husband still eating), she came and tapped the check she JUST sat on the table and said, "You pay now."....not a question, more like a demand. If we'd been sitting there for 2 hrs. eating them out of business, I could possibly understand....but, my hubby was eating a second small plate and I'd had gotten, but not finished (maybe) one plate total...I wasn't going to waste calories on food that wasn't any better than that! It was completely strange! It was $12.90 for two lunch buffets and two drinks, so I guess it was a cheap unpleasant experience....but, certainly not one I would recommend! :/ read more

I've been eating Golden Eggroll for years! I grew up in Blue Springs. I moved to KC a few years ago and haven't found anything as good as Golden Eggroll. I still try to go back and eat it from time to time. They have the best sweet and sour chicken that I've ever eaten. The staff is always friendly. Highly recommend. read more

The food is good, but the service is horrible. My family & I have given this establishment many chances over the years. Their delivery person has dropped our food at the doorway after we've paid for it. A few weeks ago I waited over 90 minutes on a 60 minute delivery order. I've had orders delivered that were incomplete & had to restaurant to fix it. Today the order delivered to me was wrong. The male that took my order read it back to me correctly, but wrote it incorrectly. The item that he claimed I order isn't on their menu. I was told that I would have to pay a dollar more because the item I requested was $0.75 more & that I had to give them the incorrect item back. I pointed out that restaurants aren't supposed to take food back, it violates health department policies. He claimed they would throw it away. By the way, they need to add more shrimp to their shrimp fried rice dish. It like getting fried rice with an individual side of shrimp. We have to order extra shrimp to have enough to eat. read more

Delivery orders have been incorrect or missing items on a few occasions, but they have always corrected the order and promptly delivered missing items - until tonight. They missed an item and one of the entrees was packed so hot that it burned through the container and leaked sauce over all the other containers in the bag. I called and they told me they would deliver the missing item and some additional sauce. The additional sauce was delivered but the missing item was not included. I called them a second time and was told that I had never ordered the missing item - the employee argued with me and hung up. I called again and after agreeing that I did order the item was told that they were too busy to deliver it - they could just add it to my next order. I told them this was not an acceptable solution - just silence on the phone. When I asked for a response, she hung up. After many years of ordering from them, this will be my last order. read more

i ate lunch on 6-25 and again today 6-27 for lunch --- the first day had good service foods not bad, not as good as legends of asia but cheaper. today on the other hand service really stunk when i sat down she brought my water and i asked her to bring a 2nd glass of water because i drink like a horse then i went to get food while i was up there i asked her for a sharp knife she pointed over by the ice cream i told her all that was there was table knifes i wanted a sharp knife so she brings me a cheap, thin, plastic knife i told her this was stupid if they don't have sharp knives so i pulled out my pocket knife as she started to walk away she said i was stupid then she went into the kitchen and bitchen about me the whole restaurant could here her and she was siting at a table rolling silverware or whatever still bitchen 30 min later she never did come back i norma ly i drink 7 or 8 glasses of water while eating left thur sty not only did she not get a tip but i wrote a com paint on the ticket and i emailed them too i don't expect to here from them. i ordered deli every 2 to 4 times a month i will never order or return there again read more
