After receiving glowing referrals from two of my friends on Woodruff windows we decided to have…read morethem installed by them instead of Window World who we originally were considering. We got quotes from other window installers as well and Woodruff was the only one that came close to matching Window Worlds mass production price There is also a big advantage of knowing who is exactly coming out to your house and Woodruff (family owned business) delivered on the personal connections aspect from top to bottom. What a difference it has made on our house's curb appeal. I chose the black frames outside with white interior and rectangle grids for the front of the house. Love it!!!! The whole process went very smooth. Dante (sales) came out to show us options and worked with us to get exactly what we were looking for. The day of install went very smooth. Getting windows can be a stressful process for some but they all made it come together seamless and even Jordan (owner) came by during the install and answered any questions we had. These pictures don't do it justice because we still are waiting on getting shutters on the right side so it matches the left side of house. Once they are in it will all look perfect! If looking for getting windows you can't go wrong by choosing Woodruff!

From the very beginning, the process felt easy. I reached out for a consultation and got a call back within about 10 minutes. The office team was incredibly friendly and flexible with scheduling. Our sales rep, John, was fantastic. He took the time to walk us through all our options, explain the installation process, and answer every question we had. Since this is such a big investment, we were nervous, but he made us feel confident in our decision (especially compared to Pella). Installation day went just as smoothly. The crew showed up right on time, was very respectful of our home (booties, cleaning as they worked), and did everything they could to minimize disruption. We have a cat, and they were so accommodating, working room by room so we could keep her calm and safe. Sky even brought her treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. They worked efficiently, were as quiet as possible, and cleaned up as much as you realistically can after a big job like this. We also appreciated that multiple team members stopped by throughout the day to check in and make sure we were happy. Overall, we felt really well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Woodruff!

I went into this project confident and well-informed after watching the company's educational…read morevideos and relying on their expertise. The products and installation were generally professional, but important gaps only surfaced once decisions became final -- when flexibility was gone and costs shifted to me. For context, this project included a bedroom patio door, a side entry door, and replacement windows. This review isn't about bad intent. It's about where education and expert confidence end -- and where homeowners need to slow down and verify assumptions. The videos genuinely help level up homeowners. They explain terminology and common pitfalls and make the process feel clear. Where that education can fall short is when theory meets real-world constraints. Understanding products at a high level doesn't guarantee those choices will translate cleanly once manufacturing begins. The first gap I encountered involved usability. I replaced wood doors with fiberglass doors and assumed hanging blinds would be straightforward. I later learned fiberglass doors with foam cores don't provide the same structural support as solid wood, and traditional blind mounting can be risky unless planned around limited wood blocking. By the time this became clear, the doors were already ordered. Internal blinds would have been the safest solution, but that decision must be made before manufacturing. After raising the issue, I learned internal-blind glass units were available, but only in double pane -- not triple pane -- and without laminated options. I would have been paying to move from triple pane to double pane to solve a usability issue that hadn't been discussed earlier. I declined. The issue wasn't that tradeoffs exist -- it was how late they became visible. Another issue surfaced during installation. An existing storm door was removed, and I learned mid-install it would not be reinstalled. That had not been discussed during sales or measurement. The lesson for me: if something matters, confirm it explicitly before installation begins. Install day is where risk largely shifts to the homeowner. After the crew left, I noticed drywall damage, sealant contacting finished surfaces, debris inside and out, a damaged sprinkler head where materials were staged, and cigarette butts in the yard. Some items were addressed later; others required additional time and expense. The patio door also required adjustment and still does not open and close cleanly. I was told the next step may involve shaving material off the door -- an example of how fixes can escalate once installation is complete. My primary concern for the bedroom patio door was security and sound. Based on that, I was advised to go with triple pane. Living with the result, sound performance has not met my expectations. Laminated glass, which was not discussed during sales, is generally considered superior for both sound and security. After raising concerns, I learned the manufacturer does not publish specific sound performance ratings for its door assemblies. The recommendation appears to have been based on industry convention rather than product-specific testing. When I revisited the issue, the recommendation was affirmed and third-party solutions were suggested. When performance isn't clearly tested or measured, it becomes difficult to know whether the product was the best fit -- or whether the outcome simply falls short. If I were starting over, I would validate real-world usability early, confirm important details in writing, treat the measurement appointment as the last true decision point, ask what is tested versus conventional, and actively inspect install day before the crew leaves. The videos and guidance are helpful, but they don't replace pressure-testing assumptions before decisions harden. If nothing else, I hope this review helps turn a private loss into public wisdom for the next homeowner navigating this process.

We installed windows with Precision Windows twice this year, and let me tell you--it's a journey!…read moreBefore choosing this company, I did my homework. It was like preparing for a PhD in window science, reading more reviews than I can count, and getting several estimates to compare. It wasn't a decision we took lightly, and Precision Windows came out on top! If you're thinking about "investing" in new windows, buckle up because it's a bit of a process. Both times, they scheduled a person to come out, measure our windows, and give us an estimate. It's not cheap folks! This is why we decided to break up the job, several months apart, so we could afford it, and that was no problem for Precision Windows. Nice! Scheduling the installation, though, was like trying to align the stars. Keep in mind they also have a busy calendar (and have to factor in the weather). No doubt it took some teamwork to get everything lined up. The crew that showed up was fantastic! They called 30 minutes ahead before they arrived, they were respectful of our property, friendly, and they asked us to inspect each window to ensure we were happy before they left. YES, we had a couple of windows that cracked under pressure and needed replacing. Just so you know, this is 100% normal in the world of window installation. Precision Windows gave us the best estimate and didn't ask for a dime until the job was complete and we were satisfied. They're clear in the contract--payment only happens after you're happy with the work. Now, as an Elite Yelper, I'm a bit shocked by the negative reviews posted here. It's like people have found this one platform to dump on the company and be heard. I assure you this is a tiny percentage of opinions compared to their reviews on many other platforms (like Google) ... if you care to read the reputation they truly deserve. In short, I highly recommend getting a few estimates and paying attention to the customer service before signing any contract. But if you ask me, Precision Windows did an outstanding job. I hope my review encourages you to get an estimate from Precision Windows and not let the negative reviews on Yelp turn you away. Just remember, getting windows from any company is going to be a big project, so be prepared for the ride -- it's worth it!!
