Pros: -$19 OW or $38 RT transportation to the airport -Website is informative: it has the schedule which is the most important part so you can plan accordingly. -Pocket size schedule card is also available, grab one if you need it. -Easy to find counter at MSP airport: collect your baggage and follow the signs, you'll need to use elevators/stairs/escalators. -Departure was a little late, but we made up time on the road and got to the airport with enough time to clear security and get to the gate without rushing. -Plenty of seats in the van for people and with space for luggage in the back. Don't forget to buckle your seat belts! -Office has Wifi, a vending machine, plenty of chairs, and restrooms if you need to wait for a ride or waiting for someone to arrive. Very important for those traveling during the cold months, early mornings, or late evenings. -Per the agent, they said that parking (while you're away) is in the plans for the future. Cross your fingers! -Vans have Wifi, just ask the driver for password if s/he forget to tell you once you board. -Office is open 24/7 to accommodate departures and arrivals -Agent was very pleasant and informative during my inquiries via phone and in person. -Discounts for Mayo employees Cons: -Online booking feature needs work: I had to make my reservation in person since it didn't give me the option of the main office as the pick-up/drop-off point. -Seats are not the most comfortable, it can get bouncy during the ride. Some may find the seats a bit small and tight. -Careful when you drive in during drop-offs or pick-ups, there are some major potholes in the office parking lot.

The agent we spoke with was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. When my friend asked about switching to a 4:30 PM shuttle, the agent responded in a snide tone that "we don't have a time at 4:30p," without offering any alternatives or trying to assist. The situation escalated to the point where I stepped in to address the agent's attitude, and she HUNG UP the phone on us. I called back to report the issue, but the experience was already very upsetting. The tone and treatment we received felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and quite frankly discriminatory especially toward someone who was simply trying to communicate clearly in a second language. No customer should be treated this way. We will see if her timing gets updated as no confirmation was given to her. Do better Groome!

I just need to vent for a minute, while I'm currently STRANDED AT MSP…read more My EC Groome driver never showed! I am currently stranded at MSP. When I booked my return shuttle back to EC from MSP, I called Groome to verify that if I missed my 9:15P shuttle, that I could still get on the 10:45P shuttle. I was told yes, that flight delays happen all the time and that they will just put me on the 10:45P shuttle. Fast forward to today. My flight was delayed due to weather. I called Groome as soon as I was in the airport (this was around 9:30P), no answer, no answering machine, no answering service. I called Groome 7 times. Their automated message says that there is someone available to answer the phones until 10P... that's a load of crap. So I waited for the 10:45P shuttle. In the meantime, Groome Rochester showed up, and I asked that driver if the EC Groome driver would still show up, even if there were no registered rides for the 10:45P (I did tell this driver about missing my first shuttle due to flight delays). This driver said yes, that the EC Groome driver would be here for the 10:45P pick up, even if no one was registered for a pick up. So I waited. At 11:05, I gave up waiting for EC Groome (because I didn't feel safe being a pregnant woman completely alone in a parking area waiting for a shuttle that wasn't coming - what if something bad happened to me while waiting for the driver that was clearly not coming... does Groome have the liability insurance to cover that??). So I went back to the baggage claim area to call my husband and figure out how I was going to get home. Had someone from Groome bothered to answer their damn phone, and told me that they weren't coming to the 10:45P pick up, then I would have hopped on one of the hotel shuttles before they ended for the night, gotten a room for the night, and a rental car in the morning when things opened back up. This is absolute trash.
