Mixed review for me. I went on a historical tour last year as the haunted tour was full. That was…read morereally good, I learned a lot about the city, history, lots of cool sites that I would have never found on my own. My cousin who lives in town didn't know 1/2 the stuff we learned. We marked our calendars to come back for the haunted tour. Dr. Hawk takes it a bit serious for me, I was asked/told to stop talking twice (I was whispering with my cousin while masked, it was not loud). It is clear that Dr. Hawk expected everyone to sit and listen attentively to her for the full tour, I am an adult and paid for the experience as things come up I think it should be ok to quietly talk to my companion. The cemetery visits were very interesting, some good info/stories and that was fun. I believe that there is something out there but not sure how much in ghosts and some of the ghost hunting equipment and trying to talk to the spirits was a little out there for me, others seemed to enjoy it, and it was only a smaller portion of the tour. The covid practices were very good, hand sanitizer as you enter the trolley, masks covering nose and mouth. Hoped for some more stories and a little less ghost hunting. Entertaining unique night out

We came down to Rochester to ride the Haunted Trolley tour with other family members. I have family…read moremembers that have ghost hunted as amateurs and my niece Brandy was on Ghost Hunters International for a few years. We asked her not to pick it apart, we wanted to enjoy it. :) My wife and I have not been on these type of tours before and were not sure what to expect. Be sure that you read about the times that they expect you there and the trolley leaves on time so do not be late. During the trolley tour, the driver who was very knowledgeable and the company does their research. They had many facts, stories, theories and even some of the dirt from the history of Rochester and the Mayo family and the first settlers that are said to still be hanging around. You can tell that they didn't go into this half way, they had plenty of local information, access to places that most people either are not allowed to go or not aware of. There were a few places that we seemed to have exclusive access to during this tour. There were many stops and one was downtown where the old Morgue used to be in the basement of a old hotel downtown. The driver also showed us some common ghost hunting gadgets and how they are used and the theory behind them. We used an EMF detector and an used a device to try to pick up EVPs. It was a neat experience and they didn't try to make things appear, they just were informative. This tour was 3 hours long. It was worth the money. The driver was a fan of scary ghost shows and got a picture with my niece to show his wife. LOL Enjoy the photos.

We used Gray Line for our wedding day shuttle service and again the next day for a post-wedding…read morebrunch, and everything went smoothly. The drivers were professional, punctual, and got our guests where they needed to be safely and on time--it was such a relief not to worry about transportation. Our sales associate, Katie, was fantastic to work with. When we needed to switch to a smaller shuttle, she was kind, accommodating, and clearly explained the updated pricing. She made the entire process easy and stress-free. On top of that, Gray Line's pricing was the most reasonable of all the shuttle services I researched. I highly recommend them for any event transportation needs!

Gray Line's advertisement here on Yelp states that "our state-of-the-art vehicles and professional…read moredrivers guarantee complete comfort, safety, and entertainment while getting from one place to the next." Unfortunately, our experience on the May 20, 2023 Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St Paul) tour didn't live up to that hype of a comfortable ride. There were many positive things to say about this tour. It was a good overview of the area for tourists like us who are not familiar with the area. The bus was on-time. The bus driver was excellent in navigating around construction zones and down some narrow streets. The tour guide was informative and interesting. The bus seats were comfortable and windows big enough to take on the sights. It could've been good value ($40 adult. $38 senior) for a about a 3.5 hour tour. That said, one aspect of our experience totally negated all of the positives. The air conditioning wasn't working properly on the bus on a warm Minnesota day. It was warm outside; hot in the bus. Passengers, and especially those in the back of the bus. started to ask for more air about 15 minutes into the trip. We were eventually told that the tour guide spoke with the office and nothing could be done for our trip and that we should report this on our evaluations. Nothing could be done? Seriously? Many options come to mind. Switch out the bus for one that had functioning A/c at the next stop. Or, stop at a store and buy cold waters for parched passengers. Or, offer Lyft, Uber, or light rail reimbursements to get passengers back to point of origin. Or, offer discounts for the current trip or discounted voucher for a future Gray Line tour.
