Thank you, Reno! What an efficient and easy experience. Our 20-year-old gas fireplace insert (which is also our only source of heat) died back in December. We bought a different insert, used, and called Reno to come install it. He drove all the way out to Oakland from the South Bay during rush-hour traffic to assess what we needed to change out the unit, and a few days later came back with the unit that he had picked up for us, along with all the necessary extras to make the new unit work in our old fireplace. He only took a couple hours to install everything, including cutting out our brick a little more to get a custom fit for the new unit. He even fabricated some custom trim to go around the fireplace. We opted not to hide the power cord, but he could have easily just drilled a hole to do that for us, too. You can tell that he really cared about the fireplace looking as good as possible in our space.
