2 things were great the food and and the service , We came looking for some good food and we came to the right place . Everyone was welcoming, we are from Los Angeles so I didn't know what we were gonna get . Me and the party I was with were all satisfied with everything. Eddie was very attending he made sure we had drinks , and kept making sure we were refilled, the food came quick and right nothing missing . I will be bringing my brother who is graduating from the Naval Academy he will like it I'm sure .

It's was so GOOOODD, but for some reason there was a white haired male who kept walking past me? He was low-key fine! The food was pretty good too :) Anyways! I definitely recommend! I love Gojo!

I was there last week with my husband (on a Thursday night 3/6), as we were staying next door at the Quality Inn, and in town strictly for our son's Navy graduation at Great Lakes the next day.

Our server Chad explained the menu in detail, offered recommendations, and took great pride in the restaurant. Everything is made from scratch, and they have a beautiful open kitchen. We started with the octopus, which our friends and Chad both recommended, and it lived up to the hype. They sous vide it so it's super tender, then crisp it for that little crunch you want in an octopus appetizer. The romesco and chorizo combo had us scraping the plate clean. For dinner, my husband had the hanger steak served with a large bone filled with bone marrow, along with brioche, truffle butter, and the Aligot and Brussels sprouts for sides. The Brussels and butternut squash were sweet, spicy, crispy, and salty - just amazing. I had the monkfish, which is very similar to lobster, and it was delicious! For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, and like everything else we ate tonight, we left no crumbs. We can't wait to go back!

They fully embrace shopping local for their ingredients. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. The interior gives a modern industrial feel. We especially liked the bartender, Brandon. Brandon very was good spirited, and his cocktails were phenomenal. He also gave us some tips on when the farmers markets take place and where to go for live music. Overall, the food was very well seasoned and packed with flavor. The chicken was moist and tender. Probably one of the best pieces of chicken I've ever had. The burger was also absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this spot.

I ordered The Burger via UberEats tonight, and now I don't care that much about location. If they were good enough, at delivery temperature, for me to write a five-star review, I want these burgers right off the grill--but to go! Real chop steak, not some frozen disc. The pretzel bun was quite nice. The single slice of American cheese was far thicker than anyplace else I've had burgers outside of Wisconsin or Texas. And I was not expecting this much burger for the price!

Once seated, we learned there was a limited menu due to a nearby show. That's completely understandable. What's not acceptable is how we were treated when I asked a simple question. Before I could even finish speaking, the waiter interrupted me and immediately shut me down, saying nothing outside the menu could be accommodated. I asked if I could finish my question. When I finally got the chance to explain I was only asking if a Caesar salad (which was on the limited menu) could be made into a wrap, he first said no, then fumbled with "I don't know," without making any effort to check. It didn't feel like a limitation--it felt like he simply didn't want to serve us. At that point, we decided to leave. There was no attempt to correct the situation, no professionalism, no basic courtesy. He just grabbed our menus and let us walk out. On the way out, another staff member immediately told me the wrap could have been made. That alone tells you everything you need to know. This experience wasn't ruined by a limited menu--it was ruined by poor attitude, lack of effort, and complete disregard for customer service. Sadly.

It is a noisy place full of older customers that know everyone in the place. Lots of customers hugging the staff, talking with the owners, and other tables. A great atmosphere if you are a local. One of the owners even suggested carrot cake for our desert. Really good by the way. We did see a number of regulars tables that were receiving complimentary appetizers. I get it, but you should treat first time customers the same to make them repeat customers? The issue was with service and how we were treated after we had to get service. Our server disappeared once our main course was ordered. Yes the place was packed, but the server made sure she kept on touching base with the regulars tables and we received less attention. Well like no attention. Well like we had to go to the bar to one of the owners to get our check. Well and when my significant other tried to comment that we had a lack in service the owner walked away from us. She turned a really nice first time experience into a never going back and write a bad review experience. (And my significant other was mad the whole evening, which made the event worse for me.) So even though I wanted to at least give them a 2 star review I had to tie it back to the tip we gave of $1. Regretfully we will not be going back to The Green Room.

I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, the staple menu item I order each time I visit. My guest ordered the Mongolian beef. My pad Thai came out visibly different than times past. It looks almost watered down and the tofu was not coated and seared with the beautiful crust it normally has. I ate it and it tasted... sour. Normally this pad Thai leans savory over sweet, but this time it just straight up tasted sour. The tofu was nothing to write home about, which is typically not the experience I have here. The Mongolian beef tasted like it had more sear on the meat than actual beef. It tasted over-charred. The rice and veggies were good, but that's kind of a simple feat. I ordered the Pomegrantate martini which was good. The space was also very hot, I understand it's a hot day and a busy restaurant but my legs were dripping in sweat the entire hour we were there. I will give them a try again, because I know from previous experiences the pad Thai was usually great. That tofu is what I keep coming back for! Hopefully next time it'll meet my expectations. This was this past weekend on Friday night.

The bartender was kind and quick and took care of us sitting at the high tops when no one was at the bar. I had the Amber Ale and I would definitely recommend. I'm not a fan of the IPAs and I don't like the light beers much, so this ale is on my list as one of the best local beers around! The food that was catered was amazing. Great spinach dip, cheese bites, and the pizza was surprisingly delicious. It's rare that a bar pizza stands out, but I swear by this one. Loved the sausage and pepperoni and had my fair share before leaving. They even gave us take home containers so that I could take more home. All the employees here were kind and helpful. Really nice crisp without being too dry. Just wish there had been a bit more spinach. The Greek salad with grilled chicken was solid. Fresh ingredients, but they forgot to put the dressing on the side (even though we asked), so it came out a little overdressed. Not the end of the world, but a small miss. Originally ordered the ahi tuna poke bowl, but it came out smelling a bit off -- like something was spoiled (maybe the ginger?), so we sent it back. They handled it well and brought out a chopped salad instead. This time they did remember the dressing on the side, and it was actually great -- crispy bacon, good blue cheese, super fresh. Big recovery there. The 12hr short rib was okay. The meat itself was fine, but it came with a massive pile of mashed potatoes that were overly buttery and kind of oily. The sauce was too rich and didn't really balance the plate. Sweet potato fries (we got the half order) were a nice surprise -- hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. I'd totally get those again. Service was friendly and they were trying hard, which we appreciated.
