They are…read morebased out of Mexico and travel all over the place over there and that is their main 'source of bread'. They have select cities that they travel to here in the USA but they are all major cities they travel to so there is bound to be one near you. Now let me tell you about the area this office is in. Jefferson blvd to me feels like little Mexico lol. It is hood but not too hood so FYI, there are no ATM machines nearby so be prepared for that. The office is easy to find just keep your eyes peeled. The customer service I received at the time of my travel was good, she answered any questions I had for her and was very polite. For those of you reading this that may be afraid they only speak el EspaNol lol dont worry, they speak English too. They have 2 lobbies and they are just plain and simple because honestly, they have so many daily departures passengers typically dont wait longer than 30 minutes (from my observations). The lobby is clean for most of it but the bathrooms could use some work so I would suggest using them somewhere else plus when I tried to use the bathroom there was a long line to use them. Ok, about the company. Like I mentioned before Omnibus travels between Mexico and the USA. One thing they do that most other bus lines dont do anymore/stop doing is giving passengers snacks. When I boarded the bus in Dallas I got a ham sandwich on white bread with yellow cheese, I got a can coca-cola and I got a bag of peanuts. Now it may not sound like a lot but its a big deal. I remember growing up and traveling by bus to Mexico to visit family and a lot of bus companies gave out sandwiches and drinks and it became the standard for all bus companies traveling to Mexico to make them competitive for customers. Over time the economy changed and budget cuts were made and many bus companies went under because they could not survive. Many cut out the snacks on buses 100%. I am glad Omnibus still does this because it really is the little things that matter and sets them aside from the rest. On my most recent trip with them when I traveled from Dallas to Mexico they made several stops along the way. They stopped in Waco, Austin, San Antonio, and Laredo to pick up passengers. The bus always tends to be crowded but that is anywhere you go. The bus driver showed some movies but when it got closer to 9 or 10 pm it became quiet time and the bus fell silent to let passengers rest. They did stop twice at a gas station for a bathroom break and the locations were good because they had plenty of bathrooms and snacks for purchase. The trip went as expected, we did not take too long in the border checkpoint and we arrived at our destinations 20 minutes earlier than anticipated. On my return trip home I went to the counter at the bus station in Mexico to purchase my return ticket and receive great customer service. The bus driver was professional and so where the workers handing out snacks to the passengers. My return trip was the same as my first one but backward lol. We stopped at Laredo, San Antonio, Austin, Waco then Dallas. We arrived at the bus station and that was it haha. I should also mention that I traveled alone on my way to Mexico and never did I feel in any danger or uncomfortable by any of the passengers or any of the staff there. On my return trip to the USA, I did travel with my brother and sister so I was not alone but never once during that time did I feel uncomfortable or felt we were in any danger.

Title: Suggestions for a More Inviting Greyhound Bus Experience…read more My recent ride on a Greyhound bus left me with mixed impressions. While the service was efficient, improvements could enhance the overall experience and make it feel more luxurious and comforting for passengers. Firstly, the bus's color scheme--primarily gray--was somewhat dull and uninspiring. While I understand the practicality of this choice, a brighter, more inviting color palette could significantly improve the atmosphere. Warm colors or cheerful accents could create a sense of comfort and make the journey feel less monotonous. A more vibrant interior would uplift the mood and resonate with the idea of embarking on an adventure. Additionally, enhancing the seating experience could go a long way in making passengers feel more at home. Comfortable, cushioned seats with more legroom would be a fantastic upgrade. Adding footrests or adjustable headrests could provide extra comfort during long journeys. Another suggestion would be to improve the onboard environment. Soft lighting and calming music could create a more relaxing atmosphere, allowing passengers to unwind or even enjoy a nap. Offering complimentary refreshments, like water or light snacks, would also add a touch of hospitality that many travelers would appreciate. in conclusion, this was my first time, but I was not very impressed. I'm not sure if it was because it was in the pick up stop was at downtown Dallas which was not the cleanest Bus Station.
