Had to take 2 buses 1st at McAllen schedule at 9:10am bus arrived late and left at 11am, then 2nd bus at Dallas station I-30, schedule to departure at 7:15pm. So I was following to where they automatically move your luggage and they asked us to stay behind the red bars, I been waiting and watching my luggage and nothing happened. The one star is for the cleanliness. I caught this bus for the first time from El paso to Dallas and just like alot of other Mexican ran businesses i got an unwelcoming vibe. The driver tried to talk to me like I was a child. Seemed to be racist. I wasn't allowed to bring my one bag on board while Mexicans were. I went the whole trip without something to cover up with or eat. It was an uncomfortable experience. I will definitely take greyhound next time no matter the cost or the dirtiness. read more

the Worst experience. very late, several stops, they only stop in their offices ( you can't buy what you want only what they have). they moved me to another bus and my seat was at the very end. The driver was no nice when I asked if he will drop me down in a gas station closer to my place (I ride 2 extra hours just because their "rules" and they dropped me at a gas station because their office was closed). comparing their time with other bus lines I did 8 extra hours. This company is very unprofessional. If I could give no stars i would. They took my money and never showed up to the address in bowling green KY. I purchased my ticket at 1:44 and notified them and they said the bus is on the way. I called them again and they stated that the bus driver did not have to pick me up because I was not on the list from morning time. I called 5 times to verify if the bus was on the way in 20 min for 3 hours back to back. They said it was on the way and transferred me multiple times and the last customer service rep said that earlier they should have told me that the bus would not be coming. I was left in the middle of nowhere with no way to get to Nashville on a Monday night. When I asked to speak to a manager they said there was no manager and it's not their problem. They said they would send the refund but they dont have to. I was left in a parking lot with no way to get home. They did not care and said there is no manager. Was actually wanting to use this bus company since Greyhound has proven unreliable. The web site is almost exclusively in Spanish with limited options to be in English. Pretty simple to setup to be in both but I guess they don't want riders that don't know Spanish. Called and spoke to a very nice customer service representative, unfortunately the route I was wanting to take was booked 100% for the next 2 days. Overall a better experience than Greyhound since they actually answered the phone, had good information and were helpful. 3 stars because web sites are easy to have in multiple languages. read more

One star is too much for them. I purchased a ticket from Tornado to take me from Dallas, TX to Matehuala S.L.P México. We were on standby for two hours in Laredo, TX for no apparent reason. Once we were 45 minute away from my final destination the bus broke down. We were on the side of the road for 4 hours before we were able to find our own ride. While waiting I called their number several times. I called different number and all of them would transfer me to " customer service" where nobody picked up. We were on the side of the road in the nighttime. I was scared for my life. The road was dark and there was big rigs driving by. I never received a call back. I purchased my tickets online, and never received a confirmation email or text. Called the number listed on their webpage, and the number just rang. Emailed them and never got a reply. I was panicking, but then found the Yelp review. Their correct number is 214/941-1878 which was listed in Yelp. Thank you Yelp. The call was picked up within minutes. The lady who answered my call was polite, and professional. She looked up my tickets using my telephone number. She email me a confirmation to my phone. I would rather print out the tickets, but maybe they prevent printing to stop theft. I'll give them three stars for now, just because of the headache I had to go through reaching them. I'll update my review after my trip. Update: I finally did receive a reply to my email. So they do monitor their email. The email address on their webpage is good. read more

HORRIBLE ! PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! Bought a ticket for 8 am and arrived at 7:45 the bus was already leaving. The ticket was for my grandpa, he's older man and he's partially deaf. We paid for a ticket close to the door and at the front so he could hear better. The bus was already leaving and claimed to be full. The driver yelled at my mother and rushed her and even threatened to leave my grandpa. They ended up seating him midway even though we told them he couldn't hear. They also didn't tag his luggage and my mom had to spend 3 and a half HOURS on the phone trying to make sure the offices knew and his luggage wouldn't get lost. Primeramente en Fort Worth me dijieron(la señora Norma)que con mi boleto podía llevar dos maletas d 40lbs o una d 80lbs. Al regresar del El Paso llevaba solo una maleta d 69lbs y me cobraron $29 que por el sobrepeso. En El Paso el camión tenía problemas mecánicos, la salida era a las 7:30PM y al ver que el camión no servía en vez d rentar otro camión nos tuvieron esperando hasta las 10PM porque según un mecánico(alias el cubano) iva llegar a reparar el camión. Se dieron las 10 y el mecánico(el cubano) no llegó. Fue entonces que rentaron camión. Salimos a las 11:30PM. 4 horas que estuvimos esperando sin razón. Zulema(manager d central El Paso) se portó muy amable con nosotros iso lo que pudo pero su jefe(un tal Juanito) no la dejaba ordenar el camión d renta. También Neto(el maletero d El Paso) se portó muy bien con nosotros en lo que esperamos. Pero que falta d profesionalismo d los dueños, por ahorrarse un dinero tener a 66 pasajeros esperando. The bus seats are extremely uncomfortable. The first bus was from Durango Mexico to Laredo. And that one was ok. But once we got to Laredo we changed buses and the seats were extremely uncomfortable what they charge is super high compared to other bus lines I've used before. Other bus lines are cheaper way more comfortable. I also had to wait more than 2 hrs. They told me the bus was going to take off at 6pm but to be there at 5pm I got there at 5:10pm and the bus took off at 7:17pm. I'm not planning to use this bus line ever again . Pls don't do it. Let's not even talk about how terrible the wait was on the border. I have no clue what they do different but the wait is extremely terrible. read more

I buy round trip fares for my mother. I get a confirmation number for each way. This last trip my mother lost her sit because I did not confirm her return confirmation. I was so confused. I need a comfirmation for the confirmation????? This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. When we get to the window the front desk girl gave my mother her ticket. She gives it to the bus driver, who said it was expired? go talk to front desk girl. ( how why did she do that?) She should have noticed this first. that's when i get she did not confirm. This is the worst company ever! Worst customer service ever. They are of bunch of thief's. Do not waste your money on the bus company. I used online option to purchase my tickets, but it never went through online (so I assumed since the screen was blank). Therefore, I bought my tickets in person and paid cash. Later, I looked at my bank statement to see that they withdrew $250.00 out of my account. I called more than 20 times and they aren't able to refund my money, they just give you the round. I asked to speak with the manager and they told me "she was really busy". I called another person and they clicked on me multiple times. I spoke to another person and he responded "toma tiempo para estas cosas". It's been over 3 months. This is not the first bad experience, shame on me for deciding to go with them again. When I arrived to rio verde which I still about 2 good hours to get to my destination, which I paid for. They tell me that I had to pay another bus company to take me to my destination. It would have been nice if the bus actually STOPPED. We were there half hour before departure time and waited in the parking lot as instructed by the so called customer service rep on the phone. We sat there in the car and watched the bus actually DRIVE BY WITHOUT STOPPING!!!! It was 6:30 AM and freezing cold and raining!!!! Bought a round trip ticket for my family and I. On the way there they were always late and the bathrooms were nasty. Then when it came time for my family to go back home we called and they told us there were no available busses for the day we wanted to leave but we had already bought the round trip ticket. Father in law rides these. Far better and faster than greyhound. Makes the least amount of stops to get to their destination asap. Customer service is a blessing from the baggage guys to the cashiers. This is what drives them to be one of the better companies out there. The ability to order tickets only is a great benefit that allows customers flexibility and not have to drive all the way up there to confirm a seat. Just love it. read more

The Jefferson location has horrible customer service.My father's luggage was STOLEN from the bus and they have given us nothing but headaches and EXCUSES as to why is still has not been taken care of it. My parents have been loyal customers for several years now. The least they can do is PAY him what is owed to him. This is sad that they can't even be professional about taking care of the customer issues/problems. At the rate they re going they are sure to loose many customers. Horrible experience. Seats recline back two inches so if you're traveling overnight and plan to sleep good luck with that. They overbooked the bus so at different stops they played the game of seeing if they could seat new people and who they could kick out of the bus in order to do so. The bathroom door didn't close, didn't have a lock. So every time the bus made a turn the door would slam back and forth, and as a result we had to hold the door closed with our hands whenever we needed to use it. There was also no soap in the bathroom whatsoever, I had to sit for several hours in my seat until the next pit stop in order to finally clean my hands. Speaking of being unclean; all the bottle holders on the seats were filled with disgusting gum and other food that seemed to have been there for years so they obviously don't put much effort into cleaning their fleet. The seats my father and I were sitting had had horrible window design; it started raining and the water started leaking in through it. I ended up with my right arm and leg soaked because there was no other seat else to move to. Same with the mother with her son in front of us. I doubt their bus drivers have had any training in costumer service. Every announcement was made with total lack of confidence and would often not even finish whole sentences because he didn't even sound like he knew what he was talking about . Their buses are fast but they lack any form of professional costumer service in order to make your ride comfortable and make you feel like a human. Instead the horrible conditions make you feel like cattle. Never riding with this company again. Never recommending it to anyone. read more

I was overcharged last night. The web says you pay $65 each person, and a lesser rate for a child, which I have. At checkout I was shown one thing and as soon as my card info was entered I was charged 2 adult prices. There is no confusion, the birthdates are required for the passengers. I tried to contact someone at the 888-358-6762 number this morning. First, the lady said it was right. Um, no. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, one was not available. Just now, the lady hung up on me after I explained what happened. I tried to redial several times and it appears they have blocked me! This is bad business. I am not happy with this company.
