Unsafe, Dishonest, and Emotionally Damaging - AVOID at All Costs…read more What was meant to be a peaceful couples spa day for my birthday turned into one of the most upsetting, anxiety-inducing, and frankly gaslighting customer service experiences I've ever endured. Let me be clear: This was not my first float. I've floated several times before - in beautifully (subtly) lit, tranquil environments that promoted peace and calm. But this time? I was essentially locked in a pitch-black watery coffin. When I checked in, Raven, the staff member on duty, specifically assured me there would be a visible light inside the float tank so I could always locate the exit handle. Once inside, there was nothing. No light, no orientation, no visible exit - just total darkness. It was disorienting, claustrophobic, and terrifying. I started calling out for help, and was later told that nobody could hear me unless I was screaming, because the tanks are "soundproof." Seriously, the little snot really said that. I ended my float session early, shaken and panicked. When I told Raven what happened, she claimed there was a light--just a "very dim one." But when my husband (who had just finished his massage) confronted her, she changed her story completely, saying there was no light and that she had never told me otherwise. She outright lied, tailoring her answer depending on who was asking. We asked for the manager to call us, since this was clearly a safety issue and a serious customer service failure. The manager took her sweet time calling back, and when she finally did, her excuse was jaw-dropping: "I was busy trying to charge your husband's credit card for the FULL package amount, including his cancelled float and your wife's cancelled massage." Not "We're sorry." Not "How can we make this right?" Just trying to get paid for services not rendered. She then proceeded to minimize everything by calling it a "miscommunication." She admitted there isn't actually a light in the float tanks - only a vague "glow" that may or may not be visible - and still attempted to enforce their cancellation policy. Her apology was empty. Her tone was cold. And her refusal to take responsibility was astonishing. Let me be crystal clear: This was not a misunderstanding. This was a bait-and-switch, followed by dishonesty, emotional negligence, and a complete failure in basic professionalism. We paid only for the massage--on a separate card--because my husband insisted on it out of principle. But I did not receive the service I was promised. Worse, I was treated like an inconvenience for speaking up about my experience. If you suffer from anxiety, trauma, claustrophobia, or even just expect a baseline level of honesty and compassion, do not go here. This business is unsafe, mismanaged, and unwilling to own its failures. Save your money. Save your sanity. This is not a sanctuary - it's a liability.

The Fire and Ice session consisted of rotating through sauna, quick shower, cold plunge, then standing in front of the infrared light. The sauna was big enough for 2 people to lay down, one on each bench. If you ask the staff, they will provide you with some essential oils to put on top of the rocks to elevate the experience. The cold plunge was super cold and I only dipped my body in for a split second. The tank is big enough for 1 person to lay in, like a bath tub. The infrared light was nice as it's supposed to promote muscle relaxation and pain relief. There is also a speaker in the room which you can use to select your own music. This room is completely private and for our use only - bathing suit is optional! The float session was something new to us and I was nervous about being claustrophobic in the tank. Luckily the tank was big enough for the both of us. You can keep the door closed (but I found the humidity buildup too much which made it hard to breathe), so I left a tiny crack open. You can choose to have ambient light (around the perimeter of the pool) or the starry night above or keeping it pitch black. The staff said that an hour of sleep in the tank is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep in your bed!! The facilities were clean and the staff were kind and helpful. You can fill your water bottle up with cold reverse osmosis water or make yourself a cup of hot tea. I just wish that there is something similar in Mississauga, rather than having to drive to Markham for this experience.

The space was really great and clean. The energy enhancement was interesting - it is recommended to meditate or sleep. The girl at the front desk said people bring a book to read too which would've been nice to know ahead of time. This was my first time doing any kind of float therapy - we really enjoyed it as it was super relaxing to just let go. The tank did get hot so we cracked the door open twice to get some air. You're able to control the lights in the tank as well as the music. The fire and ice was great as well. The cold plunge was extremely cold but it was a fun challenge going between the two. The staff there were super kind and friendly. I'm so happy to have gotten to experience this and with my boyfriend made for a great date day!

The float tank is futuristic looking, all white and clean with blue glowy lights, and a voice that sounds like the Starship Enterprise. The water is warm and full of epsom salts, and particularly high in mineral magnesium. The machine is automated with music, lights, and self-cleaning. The experience was dreamy. I found myself adjusting my spine a lot in the beginning and consciously releasing unconsciously tense muscles. By the end, I wanted the full sensory deprivation experience by turning off the lights and music. Floating around in black silence is incredibly therapeutic and relaxing! I'd highly recommend this for anyone who is feeling overstimulated, such as new parents or if you just met a crazy deadline and want to unwind and re-centre yourself. I felt like I had a really good massage without the pressure. The owner, Eric, gave us an awesome intro and tour. He answered all of our questions. The facilities are great. After the session they clean and wipe everything down. They provide pretty much everything. I recommend bringing shower flip flops and body moisturizer. You will need to shower before and after to wash off the salts.

First time doing Float Therapy in general and I enjoyed my experience. I was very open to the whole…read moreidea of it and followed the instructions. It is like meditating in the sense that it takes practice to calm your mind even when you're in complete darkness. It was a cool experience overall and i'd do it again every few months when I need a little reset. I felt weightless! The staff are super friendly & explained everything to me. She was very patient. I love that each floating cabin has their own private room, shower etc. There's a communal area to dry your hair. They have lotion, leave-in conditioner, deodorant, robes, ear plugs, slippers etc. You literally only need to bring yourself. You don't even need a bathing suit because they encourage to go in nude. The pod had a nice calming purple-blue light & relaxing music. You can adjust the music volume but not the lighting, it's either on or off. You can leave the door open if you feel claustrophobic but I didn't feel that way. The temperature was warm (both air and water) after the first 5 minutes. When you first enter the water, you're still adjusting and it was my abdomen that was cold as it was above the surface. I'd just gently wave water over it when I got too cool for comfort. But after that initial phase, I wasn't cold at all. It was very clean inside the private rooms although I did book the first spot in the morning. Tips: Please read the instructions before you book! You can't shave within 24 hours, I'd wait an extra day more if you have sensitive skin. The salt is sooooo concentrated that all your cuts will burn. They do provide petroleum jelly as a barrier in case you do have micro cut or sensitive areas. 2) Salt water will burn your eyes. So be careful not to lift your head out of the water without closing your eyes (just in case some water trickles down your forehead). They give you a spray bottle with fresh water and a towel inside the cabin just in case this happens. It happened 3 times to me lol and it's effective. 3) Ear plugs if you don't want salt water in your ear. They were effective. I didn't get any water in. There's a vinegar rinse you spray into your ear to help rinse off the salt. 4) Relax. Be open to the experience. Be patient with yourself and your racing thoughts.

The tank is high enough for me to stand up, wide enough for me to stretch my arms out and my fingers just touch the side and a lot longer then me. Today I left the meditative music on and the light off so was in total blackness. At the end of the hour, the music changed and the lights came on to let me know my hour was up. Get out and take a shower (which is in your room), which you need because you're all slimy and crusty from the salt. They have nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

She explained thoroughly where everything was and gave us clear instructions. The float tank was fairly spacious for 2 people however, we kept floating into each other which was funny but annoying at the same time. I didn't like that we couldn't dim or turn off the lights. This was very distracting and wasn't able to fully relax. Also the music in our tank/room did not work. The receptionist was very helpful and tried to fix the music issue but it just wasn't working. We told her no worries and improvised with Spotify. Overall, it was an interesting experience. It definitely was a great spa. Just wishing we had options to dim/turn off the lights and have music. We would definitely try it again however, maybe separately in pods to avoid floating into each other again. I also do appreciate the water being the perfect temperature, love the vanity room and the lounge area with refreshments!

A great spa for the first-time floater! The float pods are beautiful and the rooms are spacious…read more(about twice the size of rooms at other spas). They are building a basement-level post-float lounge to relax in afterward - with massage chairs. For now there is still a nice lounge for relaxing in on the main level. The Epsom salts in the small pods offer great buoyancy. The controls in the pod are unique to this float spa. First-time floaters will be glad to know that there is a front desk call button in the float for 2-way conversation. There is also a control to turn music louder, softer or off, lights on and off and to open and close the hatch to the pod. The pod is reasonably dark, but the pod float experience is not completely noise-free as the air ventilation system softly and quietly turns on and off periodically. This didn't bother me on my first visit. But I have been to other, hardcore spas that offer complete sensory elimination; but first timers or casual floaters won't mind. The air in the pod with the bath closed is reasonably warm most of the time and this is needed for the floating in outer space meditative sensation that comes with the air and water being perceived as the same temperature. A few slight improvements to accoutrements need to be made as this was the only spa that didn't have individual-size Vaseline packets or tubs. (You need to dab a bit of Vaseline onto any minor cuts you may have, lest the salt sting). They provide earplugs. And a pillow for your head to rest on if you need it. But the pillow is not necessary. Overall this is a fantastic spa for the first time floater and it's the only spa I have seen so far that has a spacious two-person float tank (the cylindrical, airy "Starlight"). This is a great option for those with partners that are nervous about floating! There is a lounge on the main level as well, tea for relaxing with after you float, and a "vanity" grooming area. I highly recommend this place for those who have heard about floating but haven't yet given it a try! First time floaters get $10 of their first float. Cheers!
