He was really nice to work with, and answered all our questions and handled the repairs that were found during the pre purchase inspection. They have a 30 day/1000 mile warranty for safety and mechanical issues which is really nice. This dealer is really honest and you can tell they genuinely care about cars and their customers. BUYER BEWARE - PREDATORY, DECEPTIVE, AND SCANDALOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES…read more This dealership preys on women and first-time buyers and uses intimidation, deception, and financial pressure to get away with unethical behavior. This dealership already has THREE complaints (including my complaint) with the Virginia Office of Attorney General, Consumer Protection. I filed another complaint with the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board. My experience with Nazzal Auto Group was exhausting, degrading, and financially damaging. I paid $8,500 CASH for a 2014 Nissan Altima. Within 24 hours, the car began experiencing severe TRANSMISSION FAILURE. The vehicle stalled and violently jerked when shifting from reverse to drive and after sitting at stoplights. The day after purchase, I took the car to Advance Auto Parts and then to a licensed mechanic, who confirmed that the TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED less than 48 hours after purchase. When I contacted the dealership, I was told by MIKE MOHAMED on a recorded call that "Nissans are known to have transmission problems." That statement alone suggests prior knowledge of the defect. At the time of sale, they conveniently left out my warranty paperwork. Once I demanded it after discovering the transmission issue, it suddenly appeared. That "warranty" was a BASIC base warranty that covered ONLY $1,000 per claim and $50 for towing -- something that was absolutely not explained upfront. During the original sale, they conveniently miscounted my cash, claiming I was short $25 after my money had already been counted and separated by the bank. When I demanded a recount, the money was suddenly correct. Here's the reality they tried to force on me: My mechanic's transmission repair estimate: $2,500 Warranty coverage: $1,000 The dealership's offer: an additional $1,000 for the transmission Result: I would STILL have to pay $500 out of pocket All of this AFTER I HAD JUST PAID $8,500 FOR THE CAR. That is unacceptable. On top of that, I had to pay $1,250 OUT OF POCKET to tow the car from NORTH CAROLINA TO VIRGINA -- because the warranty only covered $50 for towing. That cost was entirely on me. As if the transmission failure wasn't enough, the car also developed another serious issue: the dashboard repeatedly displayed "Key ID Incorrect," causing the car not to start. This would have been ANOTHER repair and ANOTHER expense on a car I had owned for less than two days. The runaround didn't stop there. When I attempted to return the car, AHMED MOHAMED (the general manager) changed his story repeatedly, rescinded written offers, and tried to force all communication in person instead of in writing to avoid a paper trail. At one point, he even refused to sign for the returned vehicle, despite it already being on their lot. Throughout this process, my mother and I were spoken to disrespectfully and degraded, as if wearing us down would make us walk away without our money or the car. And here is the part every buyer needs to understand: I PAID $8,500 AND ONLY RECEIVED $6,901 BACK. They deducted: Processing fees Mileage fees A charge for the TRANSMISSION -- even though the transmission was already bad when the car was sold to me I was literally charged for a defective transmission that failed within ONE DAY of purchase. I was pressured into signing paperwork to not sue or write negative reviews on social media just to receive any money back at all, despite the dealership having the car in their possession. That is coercion, not customer service. Do NOT be fooled by the suspicious 5-star reviews. READ THE 1-STAR REVIEWS. They tell the real story and expose the consistent, scandalous behavior of this business. If you are a woman, a young buyer, an out-of-state buyer, or someone purchasing a car on your own -- DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. I have filed complaints with state authorities and am consulting with legal counsel. I am posting this so other buyers are warned before they lose their money, time, and peace of mind. This dealership does not operate with integrity. Proceed at your own risk.
