They are creative problem solvers when faced with unexpected challenges/issues. They don't try to upsell or suggest services that aren't necessary. We will continue to go back here. We've had them redo a suspension on one vehicle, oil changes, battery replacement for bmw, tires and alignment and more. Competitive pricing and quick service make this place the right choice for your next vehicle service.

This place had good reviews, so first I called to see what the wait was like, then drove over. The person I spoke to on the phone was pleasant. When I arrived, they asked me to scan a QR code to check in, that was neat. Although I went in for just an emissions inspection, the person who checked me in saw that my state inspection was due soon and suggested getting that done as well which I agreed to. Then I sat in the waiting area in the back and worked a bit. I wish I'd taken a picture of the waiting area before others arrived because it was so cute! It was decorated with a beach theme and there were small couches and arm chairs and games to play. I think the emissions and safety inspection took about an hour or a little more. When they finished the person who checked me out was also pleasant and chatty. He was reviewing my vehicle and what services I needed and I commented that it was much less than what my dealer recommended. He was very professional and said that the dealer might be more conservative but he believes in only getting what's necessary. I appreciated his take, and especially that he didn't feel the need to talk negatively about a competitor. I will absolutely be back to get my car serviced. It was a pleasant experience with pleasant people!

This is my second time shopping at Select Auto Imports! I worked with Naser to find the right car…read morefor me. I walked in knowing I wanted the Mercedes GLE 53 AMG Coupe. He was extremely knowledgeable and listened to my wants and needs. He didn't pressure me into anything and even offered me to look at cheaper cars that would be closer to the monthly payments I was looking for. But no surprise that I ended up falling in love with the Mercedes GLE 53 AMG coupe! I really like that they don't let people test drive most of their vehicles. They take business seriously and don't stress over losing sales bc the service and cars speak for themselves! The paperwork and overall process didn't take long either as most dealerships do. The process was easy and they walked me through it with no rush making sure I understood everything. Even helped me transfer my insurance policy! The dealership is so beautiful too. They have a wide range of rare and typical luxury vehicles. Everyone is so friendly there and it's nice to see that they all get along and crack jokes. It seems like a wonderful environment for the employees and patrons. Thank you Naser and both Mikes for helping me find such a beautiful car with amazing performance!!

From the beginning, Murad…read morelistened very carefully to what I needed in a vehicle, especially regarding price, size, and overall practicality. He never made the process feel rushed or pressured, and he took the time to understand what would actually work best for my family. Murad was also extremely hospitable throughout the sales process, offering drinks and snacks and making sure we felt comfortable while we were there. He stayed in contact with me for months before the purchase, consistently providing updates on inventory and letting me know when vehicles came in that matched what I might like. One of the things I appreciated most was his willingness to match or beat offers from surrounding dealerships. That showed me that he truly valued my business and wanted to make the deal work. He also went above and beyond by helping solve current issues my wife was experiencing with her car, even though that vehicle was not purchased from him. I also want to recognize the finance manager, who overcame several would-be roadblocks during the financing process. He worked hard to make sure we felt extremely comfortable with both our purchase and our financing options. His patience, professionalism, and problem-solving made a major difference and helped turn what could have been a stressful process into a smooth and reassuring experience. Finally, I want to recognize Mr. Hajji, the owner, for the way he treated us. He made us feel like VIP customers and acknowledged that we had purchased from Select Auto Imports before. That kind of customer appreciation means a lot and is one of the reasons we continue to feel comfortable doing business with them. Overall, Murad and the entire team at Select Auto Imports provided outstanding service, professionalism, and care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership that values relationships, listens to customers, and works hard to earn your trust. -A. Muhammad

UPDATE: After posting this review, I received a call from…read more Melvin Reyes, Assistant Service Manager. He gave me a credit for the services that I felt I was misled about. I'm altering this review from 1 to 3 stars because I want to credit the dealership for making this right. But I'll leave the original post for the record. ORIGINAL POST I've been servicing my car at BMW of Alexandria for about 10 years, and up until now I've generally found the advisors to be straightforward about what is actually required versus what is optional. That's why this experience was so disappointing. At a recent visit, I brought in my 2021 BMW 330i (about 25,000 miles) for a recall and routine service. My advisor, Jhett Nealy, recommended several additional services and presented them in a way that clearly implied they were appropriate and timely for my vehicle. Based on that representation, I approved them. Those services included a coolant system service and a fuel injector cleaning--together several hundred dollars. Only after the fact, when I took the time to review BMW's actual maintenance guidance, did it become clear that neither of these services is part of BMW's condition-based maintenance schedule at this mileage. In other words, these were discretionary, dealer-driven services--not manufacturer-recommended maintenance for a 25k-mile car. I followed up with the dealership over text, and the responses I received (which read very much like AI-generated boilerplate, but regardless represent the dealership's position) only made things worse. Instead of pointing to BMW documentation, they justified the services by saying "Google" and "most BMW owners" recommend doing them around 30k miles--and even suggested doing injector cleaning every 20k miles due to "local driving conditions." That's simply not credible. A basic search shows widely inconsistent, non-BMW sources--generally suggesting 30k-45k miles for injector service, not 20k--and no standardized interval at all for coolant. More importantly, none of that is BMW guidance. Substituting internet opinion for manufacturer recommendations, and presenting that as "recommended maintenance," is misleading. The core issue here is not that optional services exist--it's that they were presented as if they were appropriate and necessary at this mileage. That crosses a line. When a customer is relying on the advisor's expertise, that distinction matters. By the time I fully understood what had happened, the work was already done. At that point, it's not a conversation--it's a sunk cost. Trust is everything in a service relationship, especially at a dealership. For years, I felt BMW of Alexandria largely respected that. This experience with Jhett did the opposite. If this is now how the service department operates--blurring the line between required maintenance and revenue-driven recommendations--then I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I'm sharing this so other customers can make informed decisions and ask more pointed questions before approving work.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with BMW of Alexandria…read more A few days ago, I received a $250 BMW service gift card. Before scheduling my appointment, I called the service department and specifically asked not once, but twice, whether I could use the gift card toward an alignment that was quoted at $290. The employee confirmed both times that I could. Based on that information, I scheduled the service and brought my vehicle in. Only after the alignment was completed and it was time to pay was I informed that the gift card could not be used. Had I been told this from the beginning, I would have made a different decision. I spoke with the service manager hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, all I received was an apology and statements like, "I understand." No effort was made to honor the information I was given, offer a compromise, or take accountability for the dealership's mistake. This experience wasn't about the $250 alone--it was about trust, communication, and customer service. When a customer takes the time to call ahead and verify something twice, they should be able to rely on the information provided by your staff. Being given incorrect information and then left to absorb the cost after the service is completed is unacceptable. I expected much more from a premium brand like BMW. This experience has left me disappointed and has significantly diminished my confidence in BMW of Alexandria's service department.
