While traveling over 400 miles from home, we got a flat tire near Quakertown, PA over a holiday weekend; the worst timing imaginable. AAA assigned me to Godshalls and told me it would be an hour. It was but AAA made a mistake with location. Andrew was my tow operator. He was very responsive and made it easy for us to connect using location pinning services. He was super friendly and kind and took great care with my car. He communicated everything clearly including additional costs involved. I rode with him in the truck to the tire store and he was friendly and chatty and I appreciated that . He was incredibly kind, helpful, and caring throughout the entire experience. You don't always expect this level of service and compassion when you're far from home, especially on a holiday weekend. Andrew is a true example of customer service done right. Had an issue today where my Dodge Charger wouldn't start, so I called AAA and Godshall's was the tow service that showed up. The driver was great. I regret not getting his name. My car sits really low to the ground, and he went out of his way to make sure no damage was done when getting it on the rollback. Getting low cars on a rollback can be tough. He used blocks and a special knit pulley to get the car up without any issue. He really took great care in handling my vehicle and I appreciated it greatly. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM. They were dispatched through AAA to assist my older mother who was out with my son. Her car battery died and she needed a jump. The driver went to the wrong address and when I called to inform dispatch at Godshall's the persons I spoke with was VERY rude and continually spoke over me. He had ZERO patience for listening to me and REFUSED to call his driver with the correct address, yelling to me that it was my responsibility. Driver's use their personal phones for contact and all numbers are blocked so they cannot be reached by anyone besides the dispatch at Godshall's. I was yelled at and cursed at for trying to take care of my mother and son. I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone. read more

Awful! Was sent to them through Hyundai Customer Care, which uses AAA.. Hadctire blow out and needed spare put on. Was told 90 minute wait. After 3 hours, called and was told another hour and a half. After that passed, was told 30 minutes. The saga continued with calls and reported time delays for over b 5 hours. GODSHALL was 20 minutes away from MD and couldn't provide service in over 5 hours which was promised to occur in an hour and a half. I recommend that instead of using their incompetent towing service that you go out, buy your own tow truck, and tow your own car because that would be faster then Godshalls. I sat alone for two hours, I got a text saying the driver was dispatched at 1:30...after two hours he showed up, ignored me, making me run up to the truck just for the driver who maybe has three brain cells, just drive away. Steve how do you run a business like this? Did your driver's tow truck need a tow before they could finally get to me? Too bad he missed out on a $200 tip. Once my car hit 135,000 miles, everything started to go wrong, so I've been to a bunch of mechanics in the area recent months. I should write a Girl's Guide to Auto Mechanics in the Philadelphia Region. My usual place in the city isn't open on weekends, and so my brother-in-law suggested Godshall's. He takes all seven of his vehicles there, and they're open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. My car was stalling and I was going through gas like water, and Steve (the owner) determined it was the fuel regulator. Before he started the repairs, he called me and explained it, which I really appreciated, and told me how much it would cost. I was confident he'd do a good job, and I was right. The most recent problem was a surging engine noise that was so loud that people were staring at me wherever I went. I was feeling pretty down on my luck because this happened just 2-3 weeks after the fuel regulator problem. I needed something good to happen for once with this damn car. I dropped it off on a Friday evening so Steve and his guys could get to it Saturday and hung out at my dad's until it was ready. Steve called and explained that it could be a number of things, but his approach was to address the most obvious problem first instead of fixing all of the things that could potentially be causing the noise. The most obvious problem was a $1 dry rotted hose, which he replaced. I picked it up after he had closed, and thankfully, the noise was completely gone! I've been driving it all week and it's running great. He didn't mention how much I owed him, but Godshall's is going to be my go-to place in the future, so I guess we can settle up next time. Knowing this car, it will be as soon as next week. I also received a postcard in the mail offering 10 percent off my next visit, which I thought was a nice touch. First of all, just after calling and setting up the appointment i was already happy with the customer service. Walked in ten minutes late for an appointment and they were very understanding and got right on my truck. While sitting inside i observed Kris answering questions, phones, helping walk-ins and waiting customers in a very warm and friendly manner. Fast-paced with no waiting room to spend time, they're concerned for the time you're without your vehicle and may be able to help with your commute if needed. I also go the extra mile to go to Godshall's after they even found something my awesome California care missed, which may have caused a mysterious mechanical problem they identified and fixed too. I called last minute for a Saturday appointment and they were able to accommodate me for the services needed. I was able to leave my car overnight and my car was done by late morning on Saturday.
