I went to pick my car up the following day and thought he might've left a print out of the part needed in the car with the diasgnotic bill and key (he never quoted me on the price of the initial inspection, either). Days passed by and I continued to text Kevin but he never responded since I did not know what part I was to order. Now irked, he claimed he said he was going to use my credit card to order the part when we talked after his initial look at the car. I would have remembered this -- he was unclear. He was snide and condescending through subsequent texts. He did text that I need not pay him for the initial look (which gets him two stars over one). He said he could fix my car eight days later, ... "possibly." That was it for me with Irwin's... He was great over the summer on another issue I had but he dropped the ball this go around in his failure to communicate. I'll find more reputable mechanic who is cheaper and communicates better with way less attitude.

I had a tire sensor light on, asked if they could check to reset it? I had just put air in the tire and had 2 notifications telling me I needed air. So they were working. I just needed to check for reset. I get a phone call telling me all 4 sensors were bad and they were $80.00 a piece. NO! I just got back from another place and asked about the tires that were taken off. (Yes, I kept them.) He said they would have passed. I had about another 8K miles left on them. I have been a customer for almost as long as I lived here. Upon looking at my bill a little closer I noticed a labor charge for an oil change of $25.00, Again I asked another service person and he said no that it is very unusual. I base how honest a business is by whether they watch out for my dollar. They had not. Never again!
