In-depth review: Everyone has heard the horror stories where they paid to much for a questionable repair with cheap parts. Luckily my experience with Dempsey's auto repair is not one of those stories. My girlfriend's Jeep Wrangler had developed a pretty severe death wobble that made it unsafe to drive at highway speeds. Sadly a pretty typical jeep issue, but I knew it was going to be big job so finding a good mechanic was key. We brought her car in and met Ryan the owner of the shop. I cannot adequately explain about how professional and thorough Ryan was. After Ryan's initial inspection, he brought my girlfriend over while her car was still up on the lift and showed her where the issues were, what parts needed to be replaced, potential future problems, and really spelled everything out. I have some experience working on cars but seeing Ryan break everything down to terms that anyone could understand I already knew we came to the right place. When it comes to prices I have zero complaints. No crazy mark ups on parts and all of them were quality parts. He printed us an estimate with the price per part and estimated labor and all the parts we priced right around the same if you were to go out and buy them yourself (believe me I tried). The actual repairs were done quick and we were back on the road the same day we brought it in. Within minutes of driving the car the ride quality had significantly improved and the death wobble is gone. If you really read all this stop, call the shop already, and make an appointment. I will not take my car anywhere else (Including any failed project car).

I decided to do what everyone else I know does and brought my vehicle in to Paul's for inspection. Around 10:00 am, Paul called me and told me what my car might need. He quoted me a great price to replace the O2 sensor on my car, which I knew I had to replace at some point anyways. He already knew exactly which one was bad, which I didn't, so I let him do it. He also told me that my rear brakes pass inspection, but would need to be replaced somewhat soon, maybe next 1,000 miles or so. Just honesty and not pushy. I didn't change the brakes out, since I had the pads in my garage. This summer, I was talking to a car salesman. We were discussing local dealers and talking about shops, since I know a few mechanics and had bad experiences at some others.
