First, a fair warning to visitors - if you do not know Spanish you will likely feel a bit lost and…read moreout of place. A lot of the signage was in Spanish and so was the language people spoke. I know enough Spanish to speak to a 4 year old, so I was way out of my league! I noticed upon arrival that they have some baked good, grocery goods, and apparently hot dishes given there were a few tables where people were actively eating. I just kind of strolled around for a minute looking lost. There is no one readily available to help people like me with the deer-in-headlights look. I had hoped to try an empanadas but it seemed intimidating so I strolled over to the shelves where there were various breads, pastries and cookies. I was still a bit lost because I first saw people with trays and grabbing breads but I thought they might be employees. But after wandering in another circle I noticed a lady grabbing a tray and tongs. I then saw the little sign that said to use the trays and tongs for the baked goods. I then followed the lady and managed to grab a few items. I had hoped for some cupcakes or donuts but saw neither. I did however get a cheese danish, a couple of cookies and a couple of breads. The items I got were pretty good and the bread was fairly soft. I certainly wasn't disappointed in any of the items I grabbed, I only wished there were a few other sweet items and a better system to better understand how best to navigate the store. But all things considered, the baked goods were good enough that I may very well be back to sample other items.

The owner was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. He walked me through their menu and different cakes he offered (it was so many choices and hard to decide what to choose). Another customer gave some recommendations. So I ended up going with the Honey Bun cake and the Rum Banana Pudding cake...oh...my...goodness!!!!! It was amazing, like close your eyes while you eat it amazing. Super moist and full of flavor! I can't wait to make that trip again to go back and try a different flavor.

So glad I finally tried this place!!!…read more I saw an advertisement on their social media for a "snow day" dinner plate special. It was one entree, rice, two sides, a drink and a dessert for just $15. It had snowed pretty heavily so finding parking was a little harder than usual. The place is small, so ordering inside and waiting could get a little tight. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, some of their main entrees had already been sold out, but we went with the jerk chicken and the brisket dinner plates. We did have to wait a while for the food to be ready so I would recommend calling ahead to order, if you know what you want. Their website has all of their cake options listed but I did not see a space for the specials. When we got home with the food that's when we really got to see how HUGE the portions are. All of the food was AMAZING!!!! And it had a delicious Carolina BBQ sauce on it that I just couldn't get enough of. The desserts we had were the red velvet cheesecake and the banana pudding cheesecake. I definitely recommend this place and I am excited to visit again.

I got the Beyond burger and let me tell you... IT WAS HUGE! So fresh with all the toppings and be prepared it takes a while to make but worth every minute of wait (to the point I thought mine wasn't being made LOL). I got mine with onion rings and let me say i can't wait to get those again! I also added the dipping sauce to try since why not?! My family got the BLT, steak && cheese sub, and shrimp basket. Everyone CRUSHED! They don't skimp on the fries w each meal either. You are going to be full. Cute 'I Love Lucy' themed spot with the can in the parking lot. I wish i could special request tuna because i know it'd be amazing! THANK YOU NYID

The Castellano had a crisped pile of gorgeous beef, with crispy fries, and super fresh veggies (basically a cheeseburger on a sub). My husband ordered this one, so I didn't taste it personally but he absolutely LOVED it. The Thommy, The Three Fingers is a chopped cheese. It's, by god, the best I've ever had in my life. I add peppers, provolone and mayo and an extra side of tzatziki (labeled garlic cucumber on the menu), and oil and vinegar (which tastes like Italian dressing, but who's counting?). The bread is phenomenal. I may literally just order a sub roll with no ingredients one day, just so I can eat it toasted with butter, with every meal I have. It's soft and fluffy, crispy and chewy all at the same time. (It almost gives bagel, but not tough). I also got the y cheesecake. Not as special, perhaps from the Cysco truck (iykyk), but I still bought it and scarfed it down. Strawberry topping was def the average canned-strawberry topping (but I personally love that). I cannot stress, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! As for service, the entire team is so friendly and helpful. They kid around, make silly jokes and make sure your order is prepared fresh and fast. It isn't "fast food fast", but also doesn't taste like shit either, so the wait is worth it. At most 10-15 min if you don't call ahead. As for seating, in winter there are only two two-tops so seating is extremely limited. It is mostly a deli-and-get-outta-here kind of place, but nonetheless welcoming and charming. They have tons of Italian memorabilia all over the walls including giant GodFather posters, taxi plates and more. Today was my first time inside, but I've had my husband go pick up food several times on the way home. I cannot live without one of these subs AT MINIMUM once a month.
