This place is wonderful. Service and Ambiance is excellent. The menu is a wonderful selection where…read moreevery dish is top notch. Everyone was happy and worried about how this experience would ruin us for other the other restaurants in the area. We showed up at 5:30p on a Saturday night and they were kind enough to squeeze us into their packed restaurant. We lingered over 4 courses where everything was fabulous. Our server was so exuberant about the food which was infectious. We started with the Shrimp Corn Salsa and Brussel Sprouts. Salad was Beet ricotta and greens. Everyone loved them. For entrees I tried the pasta special which was a smoked chicken and veg pasta and man the smoke was intense but delicious. Others had the Chicken Parm and the Sea Scallops. Dessert was tiramisu and the special peach cheese mascarpone cake.

My team recommended this place while I was in town and they did not disappoint. Whether you live…read morehere, driving through or visiting make it a point to stop by. Ambiance: cute, cozy and intimate lighting which is perfect date night vibe and there were still some bigger parties accommodated. Arrived and it was packed and still not very noisy. Service: Nick was awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly and personable. There's a level of pride in the work that he does that screams unreasonable hospitality (IYKYK) and paced my courses out beautifully. Wine recommendation was on point and attention to others didn't lapse. All tables felt his presence. Food: House salad was easily the best red wine vinaigrette that I've ever had. The garlic was the perfect kick. Scallops appetizer were sweet and perfectly cooked through and the spinach/basil cream sauce that was under and surrounded the dish was amazing (and I don't or at least didn't think I liked basil!). For dinner I hate the halibut and mushroom risotto which was cooked to perfection. The risotto does have onions which I missed and didn't care for but they took care and offered me a separate bed which I thought was incredibly nice. For dessert I had the chocolate cake which was delicious. Coffee/espresso hints and perfect texture of cake to filling. I will be back for sure!

We came here last minute for an after-work dinner with a pretty large group of about 25 people. They were extremely friendly and accommodating and had no problem getting all of us taken care of. I kept it pretty simple and got a burger and a beer. The burger was really good and everything came out well, especially considering how many of us there were. What really stood out though was the service. One person in our group is extremely picky about how she likes her steak cooked and ended up sending it back three times. Each time they were friendly about it and genuinely seemed more concerned with getting it right for her than being annoyed about having to remake it again. For us to come in with 25 people on such short notice and still have everyone be so friendly and accommodating was really appreciated. They handled our group incredibly well and never made us feel like an inconvenience. Definitely a 5-star experience and somewhere I would come back to.

It was a Trio Diavolo, a trio of protein with squid pasta, and a red sauce. I didn't understand that the proteins were diced bits that were stirred into the red sauce pasta. I actually thought the protein was separate from a side of pasta. It disappointed me because I generally dislike seafood in red sauce, but honestly, that wasn't their fault so I still gave them a high rating. Service was friendly and playful. Pretty efficient and seemed to like their job. It is a beautiful restaurant with a pretty amazing view, even if the water is at very sad low levels. Maybe this is natural, I've never been here before. All of the wildlife/birds really enhanced the experience. Flocks of seagulls (not the band), and surprisingly large number of pelicans were wonderful to watch. You can see the riverfront exterior and distant bridge in my standard and 360° photos. Cannova's Pizzeria - Large Sicilian pizza.  Too goddamn spicy. Our waiter wasted time with the bullshit small talk. Chop, chop with the food Cameron! Damn.

There was also a real sense of family? amongst the patrons, everyone sitting at the bar seemed to know each other and it had small town feel in a city. Service: Friendly waitstaff from the hostess to the server to the busser to the bartender. The young man working as the busser was literally on the go non-stop. He must have had 3000 steps in just in the time we were there. He filled out water glasses 3 times and we were really grateful for him. Drinks: We didn't opt for drinks this time but will for sure be ordering some during our next visit. The blonde bartender was SLAYING drinks. I've never seen someone so confidently make a cosmo and an old fashion within a 3 min. time span. She is a force and knows exactly what she is doing. Food: We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. I really recommend the calamari appetizer, great quality and the spicy sauce that came with it was delicious (I love the spice level it was perfect!). I literally can't stop thinking about the salad I had, it was so diverse in flavor profile and texture...salty, sweet, acidic, bitter, creamy, crunchy, and fresh. I have only one complaint, both of our water glasses on the table that we had to drink out of were dirty (dried food stuck on the outside of the glasses and a sticky residue). Instead of making a fuss we just asked for straws. I can't wait to come back here, I'm hoping it is sooner than later!

Wowza! Amazing food. We finally made it around to trying this place. They are only open brunch…read morehours during weekdays which is a bummer for those of us that work all week long. The rarity time off we snuck over here and could not have been more impressed! Very much a unique place in Appleton but takes you to a big city like NYC or Portland. The vibes, decor, overall environment was welcoming. Food was delicious! We got BYO omelette and Cheese risotto cake with braised beef short ribs. Both were cooked to perfection and flavors aplenty. Not overly salted which many places can be. The perfect portion size that we didn't even need to take anything to go. Honestly impressed. Even more cool is they try to source ingredients locally when they can so it's helping our community. Very excited to have found this place and will be back for more! We did try some of their specialty drinks and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu whenever we get the chance. We came back for a second visit fairly quickly because we kept thinking about the food! We got some breakfast bowls and added protein to it. Again, this place did not disappoint in the slightest! Happy eating!

They're located in an old building along the main street in downtown. For lunch, they seemed to have a short list of items...and not really catering to a red meat eater like me. I picked the chicken pesto sandwich since I normally eat chicken sandwiches for lunch and opted for the house potatoes. Our waitress was very loopy and loud add seemed overly happy about her job. My colleague thinks she was yelling at us whem she spoke, but I believe that is just how some people talk. My chicken sandwich was good...but the chicken breast seemed like a machine formed patty and it was small. I was expecting something a little fresher, like a whole grilled chicken breast for the price. Instead, this seemed like a pre-made patty from a vendor they just heated up in an oven. The house potatoes were simple and pretty good though. They add cheese and herbs and spices to these to amp them up. I can't really speak for the breakfast or cocktail program, but their music was pretty good.
