Great place! We love our wood fired pizza. We were there early so not anyone in the restaurant but they slowly trickled in. Nice selection of mixers with apple cider; Apple cider mule and apple cider mimosa. Nice list of beers! Ordered a pizza each, always great next morning. I had Dad's very good; my wife did the classic; Both good but I liked the onions on the classic as well; we exchanged a taste of each. Nice place; big place. Definitely stop in for a good pizza! read more

Great family place. Nice people and quick service. Crust was not overcooked compared to some other wood fired pizza places. Clean and Christmas decor. Lots of pesto on the pizza. Lots of plates, napkins, to go containers available. read more

Christianos Pizza - Margarita and pesto pizza - Pizza Near Me - Appleton, Wisconsin

Excellent food with very fast, friendly service. We have never had a bad experience here.

Ate here for the first time, had the Dads Pizza. It was just OK. The pizza didn't have much flavor. Honestly I've had a better slice from a gas station and a more flavorful pie from the pizza pizza guy. That being said I don't think you'll be disappointed just don't expect to be impressed. Servers were friendly and helpful. read more

Place is excellent, good pizza and the staff is very friendly. Go there at least once a month. Only negative is they need a better beer selection. Change it out occasionally. read more

Kind of an odd place with Italian food, warehouse feel, southwestern decor, and a Christian cross near the restrooms. The pizza is good but nothing special. The texture is a bit limp/chewy and the pizza is a bit greasy, but they have good toppings and sauce. read more

The atmosphere was contemporary and simplistic; way too busy for the space avaliable. The food was delicious but overpriced for the amount. A personal pizza and sandwich cost nearly $40. Would not recommend solely based on price. read more

Christianos Pizza - Build your own 12' pizza (6 slices) - Pizza Near Me - Appleton, Wisconsin

Place is great nice atmosphere, good food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone.

It's easy to drive past this little strip. A gym buddy recommended this place, and I decided to give it a try, as I hadn't had pizza in a while. It's a cozy little joint, not super big but it wasn't bothersome. I was flying solo so I popped down at the bar with a glass of water and ordered a classic pizza (how else can you gauge a pizza place?). Disclaimer: I did swap the sausage for pepperoni. The service was quite quick, and I had a pizza within ten minutes or so. It came out nice and hot (I probably shouldn't have dug in so quickly). A very bold sauce accompanied everything you would expect from a classic pizza. And then it happened: I hit a piece of pepperoni. I had been wondering if it was on there, then it just showed up; this was very flavorful pepperoni. I did go ahead and dust the remaining pieces with a little Parmesan (not something I usually do) which added a little extra texture which was a nice touch. The onions and mushrooms were high quality as well. My only complaint would be there weren't enough toppings. But with such great flavor I can't really complain TOO much, and it's not really a big enough deal to lose a star. More of it would just be better. Overall, this is a great little spot for wood fired pizza. I definitely recommend trying it out. Small addendum as I posted this before the check came: apparently my pepperoni swap got rang in ad a build your own which costs more. As a frugal (often too much so) person I feel this is important to bring up. If the server had mentioned this I would think nothing of it but I'm not a huge fan of undisclosed charges. I'm still leaving the five stars as it was a solid pizza. Will re-evaluate if it happens again. read more

Christianos Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Appleton, Wisconsin

For the price your kid filled staff better be able to read a damn order. No basil. No green pepper. No fresh mozzarella. Your children staff missed half my toppings on a $25 pizza! And they can't even cook a pizza well done. They gave me a floppy mess. Trash. read more

Been a lil under the weather so my sweet sis-in-law delivered dinner to me last night..just that she cared enough to think of me was loving enough! I began that thought as I took the first bite of THE VERY BEST SAUSAGE & CHEESE PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! Not BSing. The dough and crust are both light and chewy with enough "give" that you slightly have to pull the slice away from your teeth but not in an aggressive or hard way..make sense? Pizza and I have a torrid love affair. Most of the time sausage combined with the tomato sauce can leave me with the worst case of indigestion. I was wary to eat it because I am fresh out of acid relief and never had Christiano's before. Not one iota of a problem. I did not toss and turn in the middle of the night trying to get relief! The tomato sauce tastes fresh and not at all canned. The sausage was mild but super flavorful...btw best sausage ever! Btw, best pizza ever! read more

We like to call Christianos a staple for our family. We love it so much. We order it for all of our kids birthdays too. I will say, the pizza is much better in the restaurant, than when you take it home. But that's true for literally everywhere! So if you can, go to the restaurant! read more

This is an amazing place for pizza! Great customer service and always a great experience

This is not a full service restaurant like the Oshkosh location was. It is a fast and casual place where you order at the counter. Didn't know that until we decided to go here. If you want pizza and a beer... good place. If you want any non-pizza item bad choice. Got a chicken calzone... skimpy on the chicken but filled with lettuce and excessive on the dough. Got meatballs and they were cold... the house salad has no tomatoes or cucumbers.... Very pricey for a bowl of arugula. read more

We were quite satisfied with this place. The pizza came out within 10 minutes, and the wife's sandwich was followed a couple mins later. We seen reviews about the pizza being bland? Which is just not true, the sauce had plenty of flavor and the toppings were enough for me. We will be back for more.. read more

Great spot for delicious wood fire pizza. They make it fresh to order every time. A great variety as well. We got the BBQ chicken and margarita for three adults. It was perfect amount. The ingredients all taste fresh and great quality over all. The inside has some big community tables and round tables as well. There is a large bar along one wall with some drafts and wine. They also Cedar Crest ice cream available. All the staff is very friendly. Clean and cozy restaurant. Remember closed sundays! :) read more

Very tasty pizza. Good sauce and crust. But disappointed by their takeout process tonight. Ordered online, was told 6:33 pick up. We arrived on time & called for curbside pickup. It took over 20 minutes past that for the pizza to be ready. Shouldn't of tipped in advance. Won't hold it against them & will be back at some point when we can dine in. read more

Finally a local wood fired pizza restaurant! Ate here for the first time today and was not disappointed. We ordered the 12" vegetable pizza with a side of cheesy bread. The cheesy bread had the perfect blend of cheese and garlic without having too much of either thing. The pizza was amazing! The crust was everything you would expect with wood fired - soft enough to chew yet with the slightest bit of charred deliciousness. The sauce was great, and the cheese wasn't too heavy. It takes a minute to figure out the details...you seat yourself but order at the counter (including your bar drink order) but the girls were super helpful In getting us situated. That being said, the staff was great. Friendly and available enough to answer questions and get you what you need without being overbearing. We're already making plans to come back and try out more of the menu! read more

I am for sure this place a 5 star review. We were in town for a soccer tournament and really had a craving for pizza. Based on some other yelp reviews and pics it looked like a wood fired pizza place, which is our favorite. We had the cheese sticks, 2 Hawaiian Pizza's and calzone. The pizza was amazing, the calzone was not quite as good. As it was really just a pizza cooked half way then flipped in half. Not like most where it is baked like a pizza pocket. If we are back in town again we will definitely be going back! read more

Pizza here is fantastic! Only one size available at this location, no issues, order 2 they are not expensive. We each eat less than half and take home another pizza to go, with beers still only $34.00. Try everything on the menu! Calzones are huge, pizzas are all 12", cooked at 800 degrees. Takes less than 10 minutes from order to eating. Go early, place starts to get busy after 4-4:30pm! Or always easy to order to go. read more

Very disappointed! Our family stopped by in this evening for dinner. We had been to the Greenlake and Wautoma locations over the years and love both. This location is Very different. No table service, no drink service, no water, no napkins and the pizza was terrible. Flavorless, flat, skimpy toppings. We will return to Christianos in greenlake and wautoma but not Appleton. The only plus was the staff...very nice group...thank you. read more

Our pizza was very good, but none of their staff wore masks... bartender, cashier, servers. I felt very uncomfortable.

AMAZING PIZZA!!! The pizza served here tasted so fresh and felt healthy eating. The crust was cooked perfectly and complimented everything on my Margarita Pizza so well. Also, the restaurant was decorated so cute with a bohemian and modern touch. read more

Great wood fired pizza! We had a Hawaiian, a Margherita, and a classic. All were delicious. The crust is what you expect from a wood fired pizza and the sauce was perfect, not too sweet. We happened to go on a Friday at 6:30 and the place was near full, yet the wait for the food wasn't bad at all. The decor in the building is also very cute and up to style. Definitely will be heading back the next time we want pizza. read more

I really enjoy the pizza. Its the best in town in my opinion. the big issue I have is when I go in for carry out none and I mean none of the staff are wearing mask's. They do put a mask on when they give me my pizza. so I guess that is something read more

I'm so glad Appleton has a specialty pizza restaurant! The location is super convenient and the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful every time we've been in. The space is very open with plenty of seating (including at the bar) and bonus outdoor seating during the warmer summer months! Place your order at the counter and the food is brought to you, unless you sit at the bar in which case you have a server. Pesto Pistachio pizza is AMAZING!! read more

First trip to this restaurant. We got a Caesar salad with chicken and a children's pizza and 2 sodas. The total came to $32. Had to take the salad dressing back because it was so oily and had no taste at all so ended up with ranch dressing on a caesar salad. The pizza was ok, but not what is could have been. Just so-so. What struck me was that there were 6 guys working in the open kitchen that people could watch. Of the six, I watched 3 of these guys all on their phones at the same time. I Phones are dirty, these guys were scrolling on their phones, then the guy making the pizza would take out a ball of pizza dough and make a pizza....without washing his hands first. If you have an open kitchen where customers can watch what is going on, you really should make sure your people are doing their jobs and doing it right. This was very disappointing to me. read more

Rude customer service and disappointing food. Not sure why people speak so highly of this place.

great thin oven pizza. Super crispy and the sauce has a nice tang. Always fresh and locally owned.

I had high hopes. The pizza is not expensive. The staff is friendly. We ordered a "Dad's Pizza" which is Sausage, Pepperoni and mushrooms. We also ordered a Margarita pizza with tomato, basil and mozzarella. The mushrooms were canned, not fresh. The margarita pizza didn't have sliced tomatoes, but really just basil and mozzarella over marinara sauce. It was not bad, but it didn't have much flavor. I had hoped a restaurant taking the time and effort to do wood fired pizza would wow me with premium toppings. The crust was nice but the flavor was less than a Dominoes or Pizza Hut. I would be happy to pay a higher price for pizza that had flavor and better ingredients. read more

I came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting just another old fashioned pizza place but when I walked in I was greeted by young faces and a modern venue. It was easy to order and the food was very well priced($10 for a 12' pizza). There is an option for outdoor seating which is as relaxing as the indoor area. The food was delicious. Not only was it super tasty, but it was done very fast. 5/5 for sure! read more

This, in our judgement, is the absolute best pizza in town. If you like crispy thin crust and fire baked pizza, then this is the place for you. The staff here is so awesome as well. We think you'll love this place! read more

The Margherita with tomatoes is truly my new favorite pizza in the area, along with the cheesy bread, see the 5 stars. However I feel I should point out using paper plates, paper napkins, plastic cups, paper wrapped silverware etc. is a pretty big buzzkill. I assume it's a time saver for you guys, but it's a wildly big and nonsense waste issue. Usually it's better to eat at the restaurant versus takeout, but in this case it'd be way less wasteful for me to get a takeout pizza. read more

Great place nice atmosphere wood fired oven makes a difference in the crust . I would recommend this place

Update, just recieved a $9.93 refund. Assuming it was b/c of review but not sure as there is no response to the review or what refund is for....also not sure if it came from Chistianos or eatstreet as both are on their as vendors. Either way much appreciated. read more

Been there a few times. Last night will be my last. Pizza has very little sauce, cheese, and toppings. Fresh mushrooms are not that expensive. Looked like they used one mushroom on entire pizza. Wine pour was very skimpy as well. Left disappointed and not feeling like it was a good value for what we spent. read more

Great pizza and service. Pizza tasted very good for the whole family. We would definitely eat there again.
