There wasn't any consequences for that student (it's all about who you know at the school and you get away with bad behavior). Academics are mediocre. Field trips are educational and therefore a part of the curriculum not to be used as reward or punishment. Thankfully, my son has moved on. But, I walked past her class today and she called out to the first graders, "Come on guys, we're talking about going to the Fair here!", obviously employing the same tactics. BURNOUT!

We participated in all school activities. Maybe if we had blonde hair and blue eyes, we still would be going Sutherland. What's funny is that we didn't submit any of those forms they were asking. The first day of school, Sutherland calls me ask why my kids didn't show up on their first day of school! Are u kidding me?!
