I reached out to A and I's Painting in the middle of a water damage repair - the first contractor (Premier Water Removal) had ghosted me after I tried to get them to finish repairing and painting the ceiling in my bedroom. Jorge, from A and I's, answered my request for bid and came out to scope the job the next day. He identified an issue that others had missed, which was necessary and would require the entire bedroom to be painted. This gained my trust and he promised he'd find a way to work me into their busy schedule. He did that and more. He prepped the room himself to reduce the time that the painters needed to fit into their schedule. The painting was done days later and it is flawless. I was assuming it's normal for composite decking. Well it's not... I was able to pull off several boards by hand with barely any effort. I bought a box of proper screws to fix it. Tried to install it anyway until I said it was the wrong way. Then they went bought a new door painted it and painted the window of the door and missed several spots around the glass because they were in a hurry as they messed up earlier. Then they reinstalled my storm door improperly and it won't shut on its own like it used to. After coming and and inspecting everything they told me it was immaculate. This company is a joke and should never be trusted for any work on a house. A child could have painted my door better than they did. I could have installed the door better than they could and I have never installed a door. It has been almost 2 months now and still no resolution to fixing the problems. They came in, worked up a plan, washed and prepped the area and got it done in a couple of days. Timed it perfectly between rain events. This was not a small job either. The metal balusters that had to be taped off and sanding took almost a full day. The deck looks new again. Sam was very communicative on all aspects of the job. He took great care to ensure that the paint was as close to a match as we could get, making no less than 3 trips to the paint store, and shared some great advice about the product, upkeep and maintenance.
