Broken parts that were glued and zip-tied.

Beware of any vehicles sold at Goben Zero. I would give them a zero. Our previous purchases from Goben have been good. Until the latest...and our last. On our car purchased from them in 2022 ...they fixed the bumper/cover/headlight with glue and zip-ties When I asked anout a prior accident they said it was our responsibility to ask for CarFox. We have pics and video showing the cobble job they did. Hard to fathom how they, in good faith, let this car leave their lot.

Patrick was a sketchy salesman from the start. He told me I couldn't get the car I came to look at. But showed me another car that smelled so bad of cigarettes and had scratches and scuff marks on front bumper. I got so taken advantage of. I know I should of just left but I screwed up. We'll after sitting there all day and paying 2 different amounts of cash and still was over 20,000 for a 2017 honda crv. I started leaking oil. I called. I brought it in to be fixed, they fixed it. I had free oil change so I went to get that. Driving home down the hwy. And I hear what sounds like a bolt drop on on the road, I kept driving. Got closer to home and here metal grinding on the road. Stop at gas station and the plate was hanging down scraping the road. I called from the gas station. The guy was very rude and said it wasn't there problem. So I wrote a review about it. Next day a shop guy calls me and tells to bring it back. So I did so they put a new plate on. ​​Apparently whoever did the oil change didn't tighten the bolts and they fell out. Then in January of 26 the turbo goes out. I bought this car the end of November in 24. I did have a 3 month warranty. So I didn't have to pay for the repairs they did. Now April 26 something is wrong with the turbo again. I had the turbo replaced at a local mechanic shop in my town so I didn't have to drive a hour to Shcoepp motors. So now I need to get ot repaired again. Also I'm in a upside loan so I have to pay it down if I want to get rid of it. So I'm fucked now. Assholes. I not only got ripped off on the price but the mechanics of the vehicle as well. NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM SCHOEPP MOTORS. I didn't even want to give 1 star. But I had to to post this.

I scheduled a service appointment with Zimbrick VW of Middleton because my engine was making some…read moreodd noises when idling, and also didn't seem to be running 100% smooth at highways speeds. I had traced the issue to the VVT solenoid (AKA cam magnet) which I had already replaced once, and suspected the issue was coming from that. They proceeded to quote me over $5000 for 4 different repairs. After doing some research, I concluded that 2 of those repairs (which would have totaled somewhere around $3400) were completely unnecessary and they were just trying to upsell me. For the actual repair relating to my VVT solenoid (and oil spool valve) they quoted me $1000. After looking up the repair I quickly realized that was very overpriced, as the repair was essentially removing 3 bolts, popping two parts out, and replacing them. So I asked if I could just buy the parts and do it myself (which I actually didn't do and decided to buy online, because their parts were also overpriced - $500 at the dealer vs $278 online for the same OEM parts). I did have them move forward with a separate repair they flagged, which was new tires and wheel alignment ($1000, which I will admit was a decent price). However, they then charged me an additional diagnostic fee "because I didn't move forward with service"... even though I paid them $1000 for new tires. When I initially dropped the car off I signed for the diagnostic fee, and I explicitly remember reading that they waive the diagnostic fee if you move forward with service. However, they explained to me that my tires were under a "separate diagnosis" and that the tires didn't count or fall under the "diagnostic fee". Overall I left feeling like this place doesn't care about their customers and just wants to make money.

The eastside service has proven to me nothing but poor and incompetence. I have given them more…read moreopportunities than most would be willing to do and they have NOT improved. Stay away from getting your car serviced at Zimbrick Madison Eastside.

We were able to check out the various cars on the floor without being hounded or bombarded by questions until we were ready to engage with a salesperson. While other places were clearly trying to sell us on their cars, only asking as much as needed for a potential sale and showing off their entire lineup, Acura's Joseph Gapinski got to know us, actually listening to what we wanted and needed. He was deliberate with where he directed our attention, ensuring his recommendations aligned with what we were looking for and taking care to mention features that would be especially applicable to us. He was understanding when we mentioned wanting to visit more places to get a feel for what's out there, and he was there for us when we returned to reassess. Throughout our visits, Joe was patient, thoughtful, and attentive--never pushy, and ever helpful. When it was freezing outside, he brought the cars we were interested in indoors so we could comfortably review them without ever facing the wind. He often picked up on our potential concerns and addressed them before we even got a chance to voice them, like when he noticed that the liftgate for a trunk was too high for me to comfortably reach (yes, I'm vertically challenged) and he demonstrated how it could be adjusted lest I thought it was just going to be an inconvenience to tolerate. When it came time to discuss numbers, he was transparent about the process and helped us navigate the options, sorting through the pros and cons, to determine the best route for us. Financing was stress-free and so much easier than expected, nothing like our previous experiences and all the horror stories out there. Our finance person was James and he was similarly affable and transparent, and just as easy to work with. He explained the papers and potential add-ons in layman's terms, made everything super easy to understand, and gave us the space to determine what made sense for us without any pressure or underhanded tactics. We ended up buying a new car here without any of the usual headaches typically associated with car shopping, and it's all thanks to Zimbrick Acura and Joe! We really appreciate Zimbrick Acura's authentic atmosphere and how Joe's considerate, customer-centric approach made each visit a delight; his attention to detail and genuine desire to connect with his customers shows just how much he (and by extension, Zimbrick Acura) cares. We felt valued, being treated like people and not just viewed as a potential sale. Definitely recommend Zimbrick Acura (and especially Joe) if you're looking for a car!!

He was well-prepared, walked me through the initial paperwork quickly, and sent me on a test drive with genuine encouragement to really get a feel for the vehicle. He even had the car cleaned up and ready with a big bow, which was a fun touch. After the test drive, Sam patiently guided me through the electronic paperwork with the right balance of humor and professionalism. He offered great advice on timelines, funding options, what to do if something like a manual is missing, and even encouraged an independent inspection. He also helped take photos of my new vehicle afterward. What really impressed me was that he also went above and beyond for my daughter, who was there for a separate transaction. He was friendly, took an interest in her compact car, and even helped remove some adhesive residue from the back of her vehicle. Sam made both of us feel welcome, valued, and respected. CarMax earned my respect (and loyalty) because of Sam's personality, professionalism, and genuine love for his job.

According…read moreto the Carmax, this was a perfect-to-fit car and according to their inspection policies, they make sure everything is replaced, brand new parts, full inspection. To say that, I generally drive around 10-15 miles per day, sometimes 20 miles per day on the weekend. Some days I do not drive. However, within 3 years, I replaced the shitty engine GDi, braking pads, braking discs, etc. Last year I replaced the AC compressor and this year I also replaced the AC compressor and the stirring wheel turns out to be defective. When I bought this shitty car, I ended up paying $19,000 plus taxes. Since then I have spent around $10,000 on this car and according to Kelly's book, now this car is worth $6,600. What I want to say is do not believe the Carmax description on the car that they sell what you pay for. They simply rip you off on your money. Plus, Kia is the worst car you want to have. This is a very scammy company that can lure you into buying very used, shitty car at a very high price. Do not trust these people and this company. I am leaving the comment because I bought this car in this location in West Madison.
