The bar is everything I look for from a cocktail bar - spacious yet cozy, dark with enough light to read what's in front of you, and quality drink. The cocktails were the star of the night - ranging from $11 to $13 - both their classics and house creations were well balanced and worth trying. Table service was provided with attentive wait staff who weren't overbearing. The only miss for the night was the food. While certain items like the fries and the Brussels sprouts were great, other items like the burger and duck tacos didn't hit the mark with a burger that was too dry and overly charred and the tacos which were too gamey and could have used a some more acid. For a drink I'd certainly visit again, but would likely pass on food.

Sat at the bar tonight, and Lexi the bartender took care of me. She recommended me some wonderful options. I got the Philly cheesesteak which was fantastic. Extremely cheesy and flavorful. Only recommendation would be for them to change out the bread, I think they could get some better bread. The brussels sprouts were delicious sweet and very tasty. Let's be honest, a salad is a salad. All in all it was absolutely fantastic dinner tonight. Thanks Lexi!

We came here for dinner and drinks on a date night. The environment is nice and cozy and when you walk in you see a beautiful dessert display! We of course had to try a slice of peanut butter cake. My husband loved it (he picked the dessert). I picked our drinks and they have an excellent drink variety. We started our meal with the queso tots and they were delicious! Wiped them out! I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and he got the philly cheesesteak. He absolutely raved about his sandwich and said it was the best he ever had. I wouldn't order the lobster mac again but it was presented beautifully. I look forward to going back and trying the mussels. I saw many of those orders coming out and definitely looked so good! Great spot to check out for drinks, desserts, and a bite!

I read alot of reviews about the cream sauce on the mussels but I like pesto and decided to give it a try. I'm delighted to inform you that it was delicious to the very last drop! I'm not kidding the broth was so flavorful I ate it all like a bowl of soup. The fries were thin crispy perfection and the entire portion was enough to fill me up. This is definitely going on my favorite meals list!

Really enjoyed this spot while in Columbia! Lots of good small plates and drinks. Excellent service! I would definitely return!

Goat's is a cool spot in the trendy Five Points area. The vibe is chill, but not dive-y. The drink list is extensive, mostly classics, but a few that were either originals or too obscure for me to recognize. The bartender very helpfully recommended a couple of drinks--I had the Screaming Viking and the Scarlett O'Hara. Both were simple, but well balanced and exactly the type of thing I was looking for. There's also a very good wine and beer selection, and several wine flight options. I can't say anything blew my socks off, but I would definitely come back!

Real nice! Very creative menu, small but very creative Started of with the Hot Tots. Very good flavor the Goat Cheese blend worked well. Went for the Duck Taco's. Had great flavor only critique they were a little dry, could have use a little moisture. Merin behind the bar was awesome We talked food and o mentioned the Farro salad which you don't see on a menu often and she brought me a sample! Thanks Merin! Look forward to a return

Stopped by here because my SIL was looking for an Espresso martini dupe for the one she had in Mexico. My brother searched and we found Goat's! Upon entering, it had a nice vibe to it. We were approached and we confirmed that they had the drink. They did. He told us to sit where we would like. We did! Our waitress was phenomenal! She was attentive, funny, and well versed on the drink and food menu. We knew what we wanted and my god did they deliver! They were absolutely delicious! My SIL left a happy camper and now I have a new favorite drink and spot to get them!

If there ever was a uniquely different yet very pleasant place, it's Goat's. The interior décor of Goat's is something else. It's a very old time but in a way to me, refreshingly different with a certain new flare about it. As Goat's declares it's a wine and craft cocktail bar with the same atmosphere as was had by the owner's grandfather. It has a great selection of wines and signature cocktails. The menu has some very interesting takes like Buffalo Oysters with blue cheese and a Buffalo hot sauce, an Andouille Hot Dog, Poutine, and a Stuffed Quail. For me, I went for their PEI Mussels with a most delicious pesto sauce and also their Pan Seared Duck Breast with confit potatoes, carrot and orange gastrique. Indeed, everything was delicious. The only downside foodwise is their very limited menu, but then again, it's primarily an upscale cocktail, beer, and drinking establishment.

Perfect place for date night! I have been wanting to stop by Goat's for post-dinner drinks for a while now and I'm so glad we made it. The drink menu has sooo many options to choose from, including wine flights and coffees. Our server was sweet and laid back, which matched the vibe of the entire place. The owner was behind the bar and you could just tell that he loves what he does, and I enjoyed watching him make drinks from our table. Drinks were delicious! My boyfriend had the aloe Vera cocktail and was amazed that it tasted exactly like an aloe drink that you'd get from the store, but with a little punch. We will definitely be adding this to our date night rotation!

It was surprisingly delicious The Banh Mi Taco surprisingly also a huge hit. The flavors were fresh and authentic definitely one of the better fusion tacos I've had. The Experience and the atmosphere was chill, and since it wasn't crowded, the service was fast and attentive. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a "civilian" meal before the next chapter of my training. Great food, unique menu items you won't find anywhere else, and the perfect setting for a family milestone. Highly recommend the Banh Mi taco and, if you're brave enough, the scorpions!

It was balanced, and the ingredients came together so nicely. It was really smooth. The second cocktail we tried was a spin on a negroni; however, instead of gin, it was cognac. This cocktail was pretty good, but if you do not like campari you will not like this cocktail. Bread is available upon request, and on our evening it was a sourdough served. It was pretty good. The crawfish deviled eggs were definitely distinctive. The creole mustard is very forward; with that note in mind, it was savory and tasty. For our second course, my husband had the braised short rib, and he said it was delicious and tender. He also complimented the brussels sprouts. I enjoyed the steak frites. The new york strip was a thick cut and so tender. It was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. That literally was the most flavorful steak I've had out in some time. The broccolini rested on the flavors of the steak and was delicious. The truffle fries were like a thick-cut wedge fries with the perfect crisp. Those fries were amazing as well. We tried the orzo macaroni and cheese. The orzo put a different spin on the macaroni and cheese dish, but it was cheesy and pretty good. The experience was so amazing here and truly made our night out a worthwhile evening. The ambiance was very pleasant and mild. The menu is rotating, and reservations can be made on their website.

We ordered the dip and tried a few things there that were new to us. The dip is still as amazing as always and may actually be the same recipe as years ago. Other faves from the evening were the grilled shrimp (I found them a little salty, but my friend loved them), the eggplant fries (great dipping sauces, too), and the chocolate torte (not sure if it was made there but it tasted great). The sautéed Brussel sprouts were a little underdone to us and we felt they would have been a little better with more of a crispy sauté finish. The cocktails were exceptional, as was our service with Leah. They said something about having issues with the air in the upstairs area, and they had some box fans up there to help keep the air moving. In spite of that, the atmosphere was nice for conversation and not too crowded when we went (around 6 p.m. on a weekday).
