Pizza (see review for more info)
Dan M.

This is a new place in the Lake Norman area. I learned that the owner owns a bunch of restaurants (not all in the area). He's excellent at branding. And he seems to have hired the right staff. The hostess was friendly and answered a couple of questions, and Dave the bartender was real chill while also doing his job exceptionally well. The whole vibe here is really good. And we can throw a big plus on whatever tap beer the bartender recommended. It was superb (wish I remembered the name, but I know it's the one all the way to the right on the tap--from the customer side). Unfortunately, the pizza was average at best. If you know pizza, you will be disappointed. If you think Papa John's is amazing, you might like it. I'll return at least one more time to try their Chicken Parm and pasta. Based on the pizza, my expectations aren't high, but maybe it will be surprisingly good. Or maybe this is a wings place disguised as a pizza place. It takes time to figure this stuff out, and only the customers can figure it out. If you're looking for a great, clean, and fun atmosphere (with some outdoor seating as well) and can deal with average-at-best pizza by drinking great beer, then it's recommended. If you're 100% sober, you might want to go somewhere else.

We had the best server named Olivia tonight, She was friendly, perky, and willing to give amazing suggestions. We ordered the GOAT pizza, which had the most amazing flavor. Other people in our party, ordered the Babe Ruth pizza and reported it to be delicious as well as the chicken bacon ranch pizza. All of our pizzas came out with perfect crust. We had a 12 and under who got a serving of the kids mac & cheese and it was large enough for two meals. We loved the sports memorabilia and twinkle lights in the bar.

Double Smash burger

Had a great smash burger and fries. Service was excellent. Sat at the bar nice selection of beers. My wife had gone jalapeño wing. She loved them. We went on a Friday at noon. Not a lot of people. I've picked up a pizza on the weekend and the packed. Had a very good pizza. We will be taking friends to Goat pizza.

Pizza was burnt on one side. Still don't know how they pulled that off. Staff very friendly, and fast. Will give them another chance to see what happens.

We were in town for our anniversary trip! What an amazing experience and great food. Newly opened and our friend Bobby made our pizza soo good! He is an incredible Chef and we were truly shocked at how different this pizza was. Not your normal basic tasting pizza.... This popped with flavor in every bite. Great portions too!! We will be back. Thanks again Bobby for inviting us and then making it amazing!

We came to GOAT Pizza on opening night and we waited only 30 minutes for a table, so that was nice. We had a drink on the patio while we waited which made time pass by a bit easier. We ordered the jumbo mozzarella cheese sticks but I think they ran out because our cheese sticks were a lot smaller than other orders we saw. They were tasty though but we were a bit disappointed we also order their pepperoni pizza and a buffalo chicken one. The pepperoni pizza was solid and they added some fresh basil on top which was an excellent touch. The dough was awesome and the crust was super good. I wish I had some garlic dipping sauce for the crust and it would have been out of this world. The buffalo chicken pizza was good but I think it needed more buffalo sauce as it wasn't as spicy as it could have been. Our waiter was great, he was a bartender that had to work the floor due to someone calling off. Jim was very attentive even though waiting table isn't his normal job. The atmosphere was cool with a lot of sports jerseys and gear. The wife and I hope to come back and sit at the bar and enjoy a drink and order some food. I am looking forward to trying some different pies.

Burger

Great hospitality and awesome sports environment. Food is top tier definitely try the honey habanero wings! As soon as we came in greeted with smiles and professionalism. The bartender Jim is top tier, funny and really helpful! He sets the epitome of what bartending should be like! I will definitely be taking the drive from uptown to enjoy the food and welcoming environment.

Smash Burger

Great pizza, pasta, sandwiches and smash burgers. Very clean restaurant with sports memorabilia on the walls. The appetizers are delicious and the drinks are ice cold.

Good pizza! Always down on trying pizza joints. This place had a lot of sport decor! The service was quick and watched the football game! Plenty of tv screens and a nice spot! See the pics! What topping will you pick?

My family and I decided to try a new restaurant for Mothers Day. GOAT Pizza is the latest buzz in the Huntersville area for wonderful food and family dining. We walked in and were welcomed with a warm and friendly greeting. After we were seated, our server immediately introduced herself. We ordered the Tail Great Platter. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of that. It is a work of art! It is quite large and perfect for group sharing. I enjoyed sampling so many items from the menu all at one time. Next time I will request a side of marinara sauce to go along with this item. We all decided on our entrees as we savored all the deliciousness of our appetizer. Service was quick with our main course even though they were busy. I truly loved the presentation of the food. Not only did it look beautiful on the plate but the tastes were even more amazing. Not one complaint on the flavors. Everything was fresh and came out hot. My first impression of this restaurant was a 10 out of 10. It is certainly family oriented. The interior is bright, clean and inviting. Service is extremely accommodating. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience. I certainly recommend GOAT Pizza and plan on making regular visits.

Service was good and I got my food pretty quick. The only problem was the pizza was lacking in sauce. Mine barely had any on it. What makes a good pizza is the sauce. I asked for a side of sauce to dip my pizza in and they got me some which was nice. Would love to come back and experience this place again. Great for game days!

Mozzarella sticks

GOAT: garbage of all time. Our pizza looked good but didn't not taste good. We got their New York cheese pizza. Suppose to have basil on it and did not. The sauce was so acidic it just ruined the flavor of the pizza. Borderline inedible. We also got the mozzarella sticks and they had a weird greasy fishy taste to them. We ended up throwing them out. A pizza is almost better every time the next day when you reheat in the oven and it this just made the pizza worse. Threw it out. If you are in this area there are plenty of more options right down the road. Will not be back!

Just stopped by to check it out, and they wouldn't let a licensed service dog in. Not a good way to assimilate into the neighborhood.

I have to say, Brazilian Grill On Wheels exceeded my expectations, I'm definitely going to be hitting this place up on a regular basis. I ordered the Picanha Burger and Loaded Yuca Fries - both were exceptionally good. The Picanha Burger isn't ground beef, it's actually slices of Brazilian Picanha steak so it's more like a steak sandwich - and I loved every bite. The steak was tender and flavorful, and all of the ingredients worked really well together. They didn't skimp on the steak either, it was piled high and I def felt like I was getting my money's worth. I'll def try more things on the menu but I feel like I'm going to be coming back to this one a lot. The Loaded Bacon Cheese Fried Yuca were really good too. The Yuca fries were hot out of the fryer and they were crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. The bacon, cheese sauce, and other toppings all came together great, and this is another dish I'll be ordering again. So glad these guys are here in Cornelius!

I also tried the chicken and pineapple skewers, which were awesome as well. The food quality is outstanding, the portions are generous, and the value is excellent. I'm thrilled to have a spot nearby that serves authentic Brazilian food with this level of quality. Highly recommend to anyone, whether you know Brazilian food or are trying it for the first time. I'll definitely be back!

I entered on a Tuesday afternoon and it was relatively empty. Staff just looked at me like: "Who the hell is this guy?" I left. 3. Last night, which was a Wednesday. It was very odd because the light crowd made it feel like a VFW yet there was a bouncer at the door. Huh? Any place that has a bouncer is probably bad news if you just want to chill. I chose to roll with it anyway and when I asked the bartender if they had a drink menu, she placed a small sign in front of me with a QR Code for the menu. This shouldn't be a big deal but this is why I left. I don't go somewhere to have to use my phone. If I want a beer (or wine), I'm there to relax, not work. I was also in a dark corner of the bar, where it's like being trapped in a corner. Btw, there was a drunk guy singing in the bathroom. When at Kickback Jacks all the way in Mooresville, two people mentioned this place to me and how great it was. So, I think this is a "It's me, not you" situation. The place should make sense in theory--it should be enjoyable when you look at it. In reality, it's a no for me. I'll stick to my favorite haunts (and find a new place to add so I have 3.5). All that said, I still might pop in one more time during the day to confirm I don't like it. This review is subjective. Objectively, you might love it. For me, I have tried three times and have never felt an ounce of warmth from the atmosphere or anyone. You gotta feel good walking into a place. If you don't, then no matter how good it looks, it's not your place.

Two of us asked if we could combine two sauces into one for all 12 wings, and one wanted to split his wings between two sauces, 6 and 6. "No problem" said the waitress. We waited and it was busy so the time was based on the situation (patrons shouldn't suffer though because you didn't staff your bar appropriately). The wings were delivered and they were crispy, amazingly cooked. We ordered the honey habanero and lemon pepper combo (again we asked if we could do this). There was zero spice so habanero needs to not be in that wing sauce name. Still though, that cook killed it-crispy. (Props-big time). So we get our bill and see we were charged a total of $6 extra dollars because we ordered different sauces. Huh? Do you charge to sauce the wings? If anything I should have been charged $1 for the extra lemon pepper seasoning you had to shake in there. But instead we were charged $2 per dozen for an extra $6 on the bill. Thats a jerk move. Legit, especially when things are getting tight out there, you have families there. Look you want to charge for extra sauce then whatever, but let people know. Have a big ole header that says "we have a weak honey habanero and any sauce you add will cost you a buck per sauce". This place clearly has a following and me not coming here again isn't going to do anything. I just want people to see this pricing insanity.
