Patio dining

I'd passed this place a couple dozen times over the past year or so before finally deciding to stop. Parking lot is wide and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find there was very little indoor seating. I guess they make most of their money from carry out during the colder seasons. Pizza was excellent! The pepperoni had excellent crust and it was very very cheesy. I would've liked to have had a little more pepperoni, but it was still very nice. The Quattro formaggi pizza was the real star here! My daughters felt the cheese, especially the Gorgonzola, was a little overwhelming, but, nah, it was great! Just be ready for big flavors if you're going to order it. I would've liked to have seen some thing to start on the menu like wings or bruschetta. And if I am being honest, the pizzas were definitely on the small side compared to some of the other local "Italian" pizzerias. Overall, I would definitely do this again and recommend it if you are in the area.

NY Garlic Pizza with salami and basil

NY garlic pizza with salami and basil was amazing! Pizza had wonderful flavor and the wood fire taste was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was very clean inside.

This place is great! Sandwiches (hot & cold), salads, pizza, entrees & more! Tuesday is $10 Bottle of Wine day! A very good deal! The pizza is wood fired & delicious. Service is great. There is a cute outdoor eating area. I'll be back!

Sad bread sandwich

Meadows, what happened to your sandwiches? They used to be incredible but this thing I got (Gabagool) was 60% bread, 25% peppers and lettuce, and 15% meat/cheese. What is this? I used to love your food but your quality and ingredients seems to get a little bit less every time I go. Compare this photo to the others on your site and it's plain to see that something is going on, corners are being cut.

Garlic pizza and classic pepperoni

The food was great! Flavorful, pizza with fresh ingredients. Service spot on and the ambiance - what can I say, they were doing music bingo and everyone was having a great time. Very kid friendly as well

Subs trump Pies at Meadows, in my opinion, but to be clear: both are delicious. Let's start with the sandwiches: the bread is incredibly fresh with the crunchy outside and soft inside. The meat is high quality, sliced thinly, and layered in... these guys can build a sandwich (there is def a right and a wrong way to do it). For spice lovers, the Brewer's Special was loaded with Italian peppers and burned so good. I have a feeling all the sandwiches are great! The pizzas: crust is a 10/10 if you like the wood fired Italian style/NY style that cooks in under 2 min. The sauce was good too. The pizzas lost me at the toppings, however. I found them a bit scant and dried out on the spicy pickle pizza and also on the queen's margherita. Overall though, great pies and I would come back to try them again. I've seen comparisons to Aliños and fwiw, Aliños pies are bigger and roughly $2 more so a better value. I also find Aliños toppings and sauce better but the crust award goes to Meadows. I had the Italian chopped salad and for me it was forgettable. The service was great here, easy ordering process. The seating is an issue during a heatwave (and probably on cold nights I imagine) as there is virtually no seating for a group of 4 or larger indoors. There's a small counter and a couple 2-top pub tables squished on the side wall. Outside there are really cute picnic tables and string lights, however, I noticed 2 families whose kids were too short to reach the table top to eat (as was my daughter) and the kids had to sit on top of the picnic tables to eat... it's like the seats are too low and the table top is too high for kids, bummer for families with little ones. Meadows, I like you! I think you've got a good thing going here and I'll definitely be a repeat customer, probably for takeout. Wishing you the best of luck.

Menu board and a slight view of some seating.

This place is great! My husband and I passed this restaurant on the way to his soccer game one evening and I took note of the well decorated outdoor seating area. We made plans to return the following week for pregame dinner which we did. The menu is unique, a handful of well thought out pizza recipes which are delicious. My husband got the Funghi and I got the Queen Margherita. We were greeted when we walked in and placed our order easily. It's a bit smaller than we expected inside but the staff is friendly and get you anything you need. You order at the counter and sit down to wait for your food. They also have a nice selection of beer and canned wine in the cooler in the front (no red wine though to the dismay of my husband). They had an assortment of desserts in the front counter, which looked delicious. The only thing that made me hesitant about their desserts, is that they were pre-sliced and each piece sitting apart from each other. To me, this made me wary of the sides of the dessert being dry. They also had prefilled cannolis which I did get even though I was unsure if the shell would be mush since they were already filled, it wasn't, it was delicious. We will definitely return again, especially since we didn't get to sit outside because of the weather that day and also because the pizza is definitely worth it.

The pizza tasted amazing!! We had the nicest young man take our order, and I'd love to go back to eat at their inviting outdoor area. However, we ordered the "funghi" pizza which hardly had any mushrooms and the other toppings were scarcely added. Also, having worked at a pizzeria, it's not that hard to cut even pieces. We had giant pieces and tiny pieces. We will probably give this place another chance b/c the pizza was so good, but attention to detail matters.

You won't find that anywhere in North Carolina, and Davino's isn't trying to be that. What it is? The best pizza in the Lake Norman area. This perfect little hole-in-the-wall has great specials and consistently solid pizza. The crust hits that ideal balance of crisp and chew, the toppings are generous, and the flavor never disappoints. I can (unfortch) house half an 18-inch pizza myself. But what truly sets Davino's apart is their generosity and community spirit. Right at the front counter, they post a simple message: if you're hungry and don't have money, a meal has already been paid for you. Prepaid tickets hang there - some for two slices and a soda, others even for a full build-your-own 18" pizza. It's a beautiful, tangible act of kindness that can make a real difference for families in need. Makes my heart happy. Great pizza. Great people. A place that genuinely cares about its community. Wouldn't mind if they upgraded their fries to the crinkle cut kind they show on their website and not the long John silver kind, but I'll make do with the 'za. I'm proud to keep supporting Davino's.

The…read moreshopping center offers free parking, but I walked over there from the hotel where I was staying. I was warmly greeted when I entered the restaurant. I was seated facing the kitchen in a booth. I just loved the decor with the bricks, open kitchen, and warehouse ceiling. The wood, beams and bricks were reclaimed materials from Manhattan, adds old world charm. The Easter decorations were a nice touch. My amazing waitress created me a mocktail with ginger beer and cranberry. It was colorful and wonderful. It had some tang to it. The Italian restaurant has Neopolitan pizzas and Italian dishes. It was so hard deciding what to select from the menu. If I hadn't just had shrimp, the shrimp scampi would have been what I ordered. Then there was a lasagna with a bechamel sauce I really wanted. But the pizza won out. My waitress talked me into the salad I was debating, too. The salad was Dolce Crostata. It has mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pancetta, candied pecans and golden raisins. I like the salads with fruit, and this one was wonderful. Novanta means 90 in Italian, which is the 90 seconds it takes to cook the pizza. It goes into the 900-degree Italian wood-fired oven. The pizza was a true Neapolitan with the soft, airy crust and a little bit of char on it. It tasted as good as it looked. I wanted a second pizza after my first slice, but I had trouble finishing the first and had to take half of the salad to go. I did love every bite of the margherita pizza and salad. If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly as the food is that good. This is a hidden gem.

This is a large restaurant with a great open layout, which makes it perfect for big groups and families. The outdoor seating area is especially nice, with comfortable chairs and a relaxed atmosphere where people can sit and enjoy themselves without feeling rushed. Inside, the place has a modern warehouse-style feel with brick, wood, and open kitchen views. You can actually see the pizza ovens working, which is always a good sign. The dining room has energy without feeling chaotic, and the sanitation rating posted up front was a solid A (96.0), which always gives you a little extra peace of mind. Our server Jessica was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We started with the meatballs and burrata crostini. I couldn't eat the burrata because of the dairy, but the meatballs were outstanding--very meaty, rich flavor and a terrific tomato sauce. A great start to the meal. My wife had the house salad, which looked very fresh. Mixed greens, tomatoes, and peas--simple but well done. She skipped the onions, which they handled without any issue. For the main course, she ordered the Marinara pizza, and it was excellent. The sauce had great flavor and the pizza had that classic Neapolitan look--thin center, charred edges, and simple ingredients done right. She enjoyed the whole thing. I had the calzone and paired it with a local beer, "What He's Having" IPA from Wooden Robot Brewing in Charlotte, which was a great choice. The calzone itself tasted very good, but it was a little uneven on the filling. I ordered double pepperoni, and one side had most of it while the other side had very little. That said, the crust and flavor were still very enjoyable. Overall, everything was very good. The atmosphere is lively, the food is flavorful, and it's a great spot if you're dining with a group or family. Bottom line: Novanta is a fun, energetic Italian spot with solid Neapolitan-style pizza, a welcoming environment, and good service. Definitely worth a visit.
