Would give 0 stars if I could. My signature was forged on documents that I did not see until afterwards. I sent the below email to them, and their response amounted to "sorry you're frustrated, nothing we can do, thanks for understanding." No. Here's a copy of the email I sent to them, for context: "Hello, That is not my signature. I did not see or sign this document. Options A, B, and C were not addressed with me on 8/31/26. On 8/31/26, Joshua Quigley did not arrive until at least 1:11pm. The document you provided shows the start time as 12pm. I already informed Jeff Sailaubek of this at the time of payment, and this should have been updated. Further, I was quoted 3-4 hours at $140 per hour. Quigley tried to charge me for 8 hours. I informed Jeff of this at time of payment also. I also explained to Jeff what happened during my move. Jeff told me that he could discount 1 hour, and that I would have to contact Goat Movers directly to dispute this charge further. I am disouting this charge now. I did also speak to someone named Sarah, I believe, via phone on the morning of 9/1/26. She told me that the information would be passed on to management. To recap, movers were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 9am on 8/31/26. Instead, I had to call for a status update at 12:35pm after hours without any communication from the moving crew or from Goat Movers. Quigley arrived at my apartment at 1:11pm or later. At 4:37pm, I contacted Quigley after not hearing anything from him for over 3 hours. At 4:44pm, Quigley texted back saying they were about to head over. Quigley then did not arrive to my new apartment until after 6:17pm. I have since been informed that the original movers sideswiped a car in my neighborhood. My understanding is that this resulted in police showing up at my apartment while Joshua Quigley and whoever he hired were there. Quigley had told me that he took so long to finish loading my belongings and arrive at my new apartment because the police were asking him questions. Quigley told me that this resulted in the man that he hired loading the moving truck by himself while Quigley spoke to the police. The clock should have stopped until the issue with the police was resolved and started again when Quigley and his hire were able to resume. It is unreasonable and absurd that Quigley charged me for the time that he was talking to the police. Quigley's hire had driven separately in his own vehicle, and Quigley also waited around for him to get there instead of at least beginning to unload the truck. While waiting, he harassed one of my new neighbors, including shouting at her and repeatedly calling her "baby" and "sweetheart." When Quigley's hire did arrive, he was visibly under the influence. He slurred his speech and could barely get a word out, his eyes were glassy, he could barely walk without stumbling, and he could barely push the dolly back and forth between the truck and my apartment. While unloading the truck, Quigley and his hire took 5-10 minutes in between each trip out to the truck and back. Please note that my apartment is directly next to the half-flight of stairs, which is directly next to the entrance that the truck was parked in front of. I did inform them of the elevator, and they chose not to use it. They spent that time standing around talking by the truck in between bringing in loads. At one point, Quigley texted me asking if I would run down to the Plaid Pantry down the road and get the 2 of them something to drink because they were dehydrated. When I did not respond, Quigley's hire disappeared for at minimum 10 minutes, presumably to go to the Plaid Pantry. This meant that again, I was being charged for 2 movers while 1 of them was not working and the other was averaging 1 load of 3 boxes at a time every 10-15 minutes. Between finally unloading the truck and waiting for me to complete the payment with Jeff via phone (Quigley asked me to call Jeff to make the payment while telling me that he did not know the name of the person I would be talking to), Quigley and his hire did not leave until around 9pm. They finished unloading around 8:15pm. Quigley did not tell me the cost or show me any paperwork before or after I called, spoke to Jeff, and made the payment via Zelle. When I went back to my previous apartment to clean and return my keys, I also found that multiple items had been left in my closet (2 small boxes and 3 nested litter boxes), meaning that despite taking an excessive amount of time to load the truck, they still did not load all of my belongings. They had asked and I had confirmed several times that everything needed to be loaded and transported to the new apartment. My apartment was packed and ready to load when they arrived. Additionally, I have found at least 1 item that they damaged during the move. This job should have taken the 3-4 maximum hours as quoted. Instead, I was charged $930. 3 hours x $140 per hour = $420." read more

Sluggish movers, unclear customer service, poor planners. STORY TIME: They were scheduled to arrive between 1 and 2PM. I got a call at 1:30PM saying that they wouldn't arrive until 4pm at the EARLIEST. The phone rep felt 'so bad' that she offered $10 off per hour (mind you this is $30-40 off a $600-700 move before tip) I said I wanted more off and she said she would get back to me. I didn't really have a choice, nobody can schedule a move the day of and I had to be out of my apartment. She eventually called back saying they could give me $20 off per hour, better than the original offer, but either way I have no choice. Eventually I got a call around 3PM saying that they would be able to head our way soon (so the 4PM arrival was legit), but instead of giving me a discount, we'd get 3 guys for the price of 2. What appears to be a discount on their end, is really just me still paying the same amount, but receiving more moving power than I requested (probably just bc there were 3 guys on the prior move that day), and they still arrive 3 hours late. When they finally did arrive, they milked that hourly rate removing every screw from every piece of furniture, the most meticulous wrapping, etc. Eventually we told them to give up on the disassembly and wrapping bc our furniture is cheap and we want the move to get going. We ended up helping to a lot of the unloading at the new place because it was taking too long and we were trying to move on a budget. Extreme inconvenience on top of an already stressful day and I didn't even get a discount for our troubles, won't be moving with these guys again. At least the moving guys were nice. TL;DR - unreliable timing, mediocre customer service, plan much longer than what you think your move might take. read more

I was in need of some movers because I'm injured and my body just isn't what it used to be. Bobby was very professional and friendly and made it easy to set up an appointment. He even called a few days before to ask if we wanted an earlier time that opened up, but we declined because our morning was booked. The day of, Almich and Max called me ahead of time to give me an expectation on when they'd arrive. This was very considerate because we were busy packing and moving things to the new apartment so I knew exactly when to expect them. Thankfully there was parking right up front so they were able to park right away. Almich and Max were AMAZING. They were very professional and handled all of our heavy furniture so carefully and quickly. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture which I greatly appreciated because I was so tired from packing, that it saved me a lot of trouble and energy. They made sure we got everything right where we wanted and seriously made my life so much easier. I HIGHLY recommend GOAT Movers! Friendly, processional, and exceptional movers! From the initial call, Bobby responded immediately, gave me a quote that beat all of the other moving companies I had gotten estimates from and he was understanding to my potential schedule changes, moving into new construction. He made the process booking extremely easy. When it came to move day, the team came right on time, were extremely courteous regarding my floors and my dog that likes to escape and kept asking me if everything was good throughout the process. They moved me from a 2 bedroom townhome to a 3 bedroom house in under 4 hours roughly. They were extremely nice, efficient and accommodating. I would highly recommend them. Stan and Oleg gave me a call 20 minutes before their expected arrival time and called me again when they arrived. We went through the house to see what needed extra wrapping and boxing and we quickly signed a contract electronically. They were swift and wrapped and boxed the last few items I had out with care. They estimated it would take 3 hours after assessing the home but it ended up being about 4.5 hours for a full 1 bedroom move I was happy with their work and they offered to stay longer to help me unpack even though they had another move that afternoon. ****I will note that I read in the reviews that they were unable to mount the tv. Because of this, I asked clarifying questions during my quote to see if they would specifically dismount and mount tv's and I got a yes. This was in no way the mover's fault but I feel that they should be up front about this when setting up appointments. I could have arranged someone to come do my mounting in advance if so. Overall I had a great experience. This was my first time using movers for everything. I would be more than happy to use their services again for my next move. read more

SUCH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE!! We just moved from Portland to Wenatchee, WA, so an interstate move. I initially asked for just loading, but then we decided professional movers for the whole job was the way to go. Great communication and an 8% discount for paying cash-- always appreciated and makes things easy for all involved! Our local moving team of 3 young men were tremendous: Ynty, team lead, and Tim and Islam. They were professional while being human, they took great care with all of our belongings, and were efficient and kind. Ynty stayed in touch for the 5 hour drive and they unloaded up our stairs in record time. I really can't say enough for how they helped load up our belongings (and furniture/odd items were carefully bound with mats, wrap and all the trimmings) at our apartment in Portland and then hours later still had the energy to safely unload all of our items. Goat responded to my request promptly with a general quote, letting me know that they could meet my target dates. We discussed the move on the phone and they gave me an account where I could see their quote with an estimate of the total time. On the day I got a phone call before they came and once they walked through the rooms to see what needed to be moved they got started immediately. They wrapped furniture and computer monitors so everything arrived in good shape. There were some lamps that I struggled to pack and they took care of everything. The movers were energetic and efficient so they got done faster than they estimated, and so I ended up paying less. They moved things to other rooms or to different areas when I asked, and never balked at anything I asked them to do. There were no surprise charges, it was all included. The entire process was as smooth as I could have hoped. Their website was easy to use both before and after getting a quote. They actually called on the day of service and asked if they could come early, which happened to work out well. Two movers were professional, efficient, and helpful in both moving furniture out of and in to both locations. If there was one thing I would want to see improved, it is the payment process. I was called on the morning of service to get a card on file, which they had to do over the phone. Then when service complete, they had to collect my card information again on site through a cumbersome phone form. I would much rather have been billed online after the process was complete, but that five minutes of inconvenience certainly did not take away from the hours of quality service that I got all afternoon. Great experience! They were very professional and considerate in moving our 3br house. Very hard workers. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that there were 2 unexpected charges imposed at time of move: one was for my 9 ft couch which they claimed to exceed their 200 lb limit - difficult to prove/disprove at the time - this possibility was disclosed upfront. The second was to cover how the movers had to lift/carry the 9ft couch, and separately, a 9 ft dining room table (wood) without the assistance of a hand truck/dolley from the curb into the house due to the tight turn past our front gate. Maybe COVID has changed this practice in the moving industry but my recommendation is that GOAT should visually inspect the houses and contents prior to the move to minimize the likelihood of surprises. (Google Maps works well in many scenarios as well.) Still recommend them. :-) read more

We had three movers and they were excellent!! Alex, Alex and Igor were incredibly efficient in helping us move our 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage from LA to OC. We had lots of stairs and endless heavy boxes. They arrived, assessed the boxes, created a strategy and developed a game plan. Everything was handled with care in a very professional manner. All the boxes were stacked neatly in the truck and all of our furniture was cautiously placed. There was absolutely no damage and they did it all with a smile! They worked non stop and never complained. In fact, when we tried to help out, they told us to relax and that they would handle it all. We are extremely pleased with their services, attitudes and professionalism and would highly recommend them! read more
