Let me just say that I have moved quite a few times in my lifetime. Most of my experiences have left me wary of all moving services. Broken furniture and large appliances (dropped my fridge!). Then when you contact the moving company for repairs, they disappear or make excuses, etc. These three college Gentlemen gave us THE BEST moving day we have EVER experienced. I cannot express how fantastic these young men were!!! I mean, Polite! Courteous. Considerate. Thorough. On time. Went Above and Beyond what one comes to expect from movers. I probably complimented Eddie, Ted and Ama more times during the day then they liked (I wanted to stay out of their way, of course). I can't believe how well our move went. Not a single glitch, nor damage, nor wall scraping or floor scratches to be had with these men. No way! I told them that if I ever hear if a friend moving that they are absolutely who I'd recommend!! We made them break for lunch, and felt we owed them a huge debt for their caring work and told them that anything they'd like to eat, we are treating them. I mean, they could have requested lobster and caviar and we would have happily served it to them. And to learn they were going to A SECOND MOVING JOB after ours?!?!? I mean COME ON, now!!! GOAT movers were great, very affordable, quick and efficient in moving my one bedroom apt into my boyfriends place. I've hired movers in the past and this was my cheapest move yet despite the new place being on the 4th floor with only a small elevator and no parking in front of the building. I had 2 movers, Dan and Addi who were able to manage everything from the street. They were able to take down my boyfriend's old couch to discard and maneuver my couch into a narrow stairwell and get it into the apartment quickly without any damages. We had to reschedule twice due to the closing of our new home - one was unfortunately the same day of the move (which we paid a small fee for since they were on the way) but Mike from GOAT was SUPER helpful and very willing to get us moved asap. Alex and his team were friendly and very efficient. They worked quickly to remove all the furniture we didn't want and wrapped up the rest of the furniture with blankets and shrink wrap. I moved from Los Angeles to Orange County with GOAT movers and it's true, they're the GOAT. They estimated my move would take about 8 hours (including drive time which is about an hour). They finished in 4.5 hours! This included taking apart my bed and putting it back together. Honestly, my move was really stressful because I lived in a high-rise (you have to reserve the elevator, alert front desk, etc.). GOAT movers was very accommodating. Their moving truck wasn't able to fit in the loading dock so they parked on the street. They were very adaptable to the situation which I appreciated. I was already packed but they came with supplies in case anything needed to be packed or protected. All of my stuff arrived safely! It was quick and easy. Overdue review. Used them a few months ago moving from my 2 bedroom apartment to a house. The 2 movers were extremely friendly and nice. Never complained in English that I could understand haha. But everything we asked them to move they said they could do it and never once gave us a dirty look. We had some heavy stuff! Sadly 4 stars because they did poke a hole in my couch although they were very very careful! I think they didn't cushion it well for the drive. :( Although everything didn't go 100% smooth I would hire them again for their service. read more

Overall very bad experience. They are late for my moving service and they told me that they can send me 3 movers for price of 2 movers. However, they still charged me for 3 movers and ask for lots of tips. Also they charged me "DOUBLE DRIVE TIME" for extra $50 even if it only takes them less than 10 minutes and less than 5 miles between my two places. They also steal my items. I never got any update after they told me they will check the security camera. Not sure if I can get them back. read more

Management was unprofessional. I had an appointment/move today scheduled for 8-9 am. At 9 am, no show. I call Mike to check the status and he tells me the truck had issues and latest they'd arrive is 11 am. Not sure why the customer needs to initiate communication, but we wait patiently until 11 am. No show. I call Mike. No answer. Mover calls me back and says he'd arrive at 12:30 pm. 12:30 comes... I contact the mover and he says he'd arrive at 1 pm. Note that every time it's delayed, I'm initiating the conversation. We waited a total of 4 hours. $70 discount was given, but was negligible cause the drive took 1 hour due to traffic (would've taken 30 minutes if they arrived at the scheduled time). Movers were great though. They were efficient and fast. Nothing was broken. read more

SOS movers were good, I would recommend. I had Ramazan, Din, and Babi and they are good at their job and great dudes! I had a medium-large 2 bed/2 bath move, lasted roughly from 9am-5pm including a 1hr break (not paid), cost me about 1150 +tip. A little iffy because the move lasted as long as quoted and was charged a little more thanthe max amount quoted.. even though we packed 95% of the apartment beforehand. But a move is a move, whatever I guess. FYI The only issues I felt: -I booked GOAT movers, turns out they were bought out by SOS movers, I didn't find this out until they showed up in an unmarked truck with SOS uniforms.. so it felt sketchy to begin with. This was a really crappy way to start a stressful/overwhelming day, as all moves tend to be. I also told them to call me when they were on the way so we could meet at the first stop at the same time.. they did not. -Slight language barrier at times, but it worked out. -Broke 1 nightstand drawer and 1 dresser drawer, but it was some Ikea furniture that "isn't made to be moved" as Ikea says. -The truck bed is dirty, some of our items ended up wet and with some dirt/junk. This review is a bit overdue but I am finally done unpacking (moved from Koreatown to Echo Park two weeks ago) and have reached to the conclusion that they are truly the GOAT. First off - I do need to mention that we had to reschedule for the next day due to the appointment ahead me taking longer than anticipated, which many may find inconvenient, but honestly I appreciated the transparency from Mike and the establishment's commitment to the moving process until the job is 100% done (and to be fair, he told me they would be on their way in 30 minutes but I insisted we just do the move in the morning). My movers, Alex and Egor, were absolutely amazing. I pointed out the specific items that were to be left behind for trash pickup, kicked back on my chaise lounge, and they got to work. They moved efficiently and everything was treated with care. I warned them about a couch that took me a cumulative three hours to tetris in and they got it out without so much as leaving a scuff on the door frame in ten minutes, tops. They were also respectful, asking me if it was okay to play music while working. As mentioned above, I fully settled in tonight and can confirm that none of my belongings were broken/scratched, much less missing. Don't even think about getting a U-Haul and recruiting some friends.
