Using Go Water Heaters was the best decision I could have ever made. I had a big name company come out to service my water heater and within 10mins broke it!! I know the guy did it on purpose, I couldn't fully prove it unfortunately, but that heater was in perfect working condition until he touched it. Furthermore he tried to sell me, all together, $10K worth of new equipment! Thank God for Eddie and his crew. They immediately came out gave me a very fair price and installed my new unit (that I HAD to get at this point) within less 12 hours. Don't know what I would have done without Eddie's help. I am beyond grateful to his kindness and professionalism. This company is also connected to Construction. I used Eddie to build my Triplex. I couldn't be happier with his work and again he's professionalism. He has never let me down, even when things took longer than anticipated, as often happens with construction. He was always available by phone, always answered my calls, my questions, always resolved my problems, or concerns and never let me down. We had a really rough time with the City forcing us to do unnecessary work in order to get my Certificate of Occupancy and I know that most other contractors probably would have left me in the dust to work it out on my own, and then come back to complete the job. Instead Eddie being The honorable good person that he is, help me through the entire process, literally getting me through all the red tape, in order to complete my project and finally get my Certificate of Occupancy. I now have all my apartments rented, and with all new apartments there's always tweaks to be done and once again Eddie was there to rectify and fine-tune everything. If you are fortunate enough to be able to hire Eddie, I would definitely jump at the opportunity. I recommend him and any of the companies he owns very, very high. It is hard to find good truly professional people who will not let you down in construction. If you are reading this review you have found one of those people & their companies. At first they were good. My water heater went out and I called them and they were here in an hour with a replacement water heater on their truck. But a couple of months later, the pilot light kept going out every time it rained. Our heater is on the side of our house in an encasing. Anyway, I realized why. They installed it on the ground. The old one was raised off the ground by a piece of concrete the size of the bottom of the heater. They left it next to the water heater. Go Water Heater installed two new new tankless units. One leaked - causing damage to our kitchen and bedroom ceilings and wood floors - because it was NOT installed to Code. We know this based on the report of another group sent out to inspect the problem and we directly called the manufacturer who also noted this. There is absolutely no excuse for this NON CODE installation. Because we were under Warranty with Fidelity we were able to get this re-installed to meet code and basic repairs were made although we are stuck with the cost of repainting - and we think we avoided costly mold remediation because we acted fast ourselves to clean. Unreliable. I took the day off for a scheduled repair and they cancelled that morning.

Our home warranty company (fidelity home warranty) had us use this company to see what what's wrong with our water heater. They came out but took 3 working days (+the weekend ) to wirier up a report to send to the insurance company. We called them repeatedly to speed up the process but couldn't get anyone on the phone. After 5 days the insurance company got the report but servaral required items were missing from the report so the insurance company had to chase them down once again. After 11 days of no hot water for our tenants, they finally came back out to replace the water heater. read more

Yesterday, my pilot light went out on my water heater and thus I had to take a cold shower. Not fun!!! Luckily I have a home warranty with American Home Shield. They sent a plumber out today from Go Water Heaters by the name of JC. JC vacuum my water heater and cleaned out all of the calcium deposits. He relit the pilot light and informed me that my water heater was on its last legs. It's 30 years old so I know I need to replace it. I tried calling and after two times they just stopped answering the phone. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Started with a toilet leak from the upstairs bathroom to the downstairs ceiling. The plumber from Go Water Heater diagnosed blown out wax ring under the toilet and installed a new wax ring. He instructed not to flush the toilet within 24 hours of installation. After the toilet was flushed 24 hours later, it was noted the leakage to the downstairs ceiling again. Another plumber from the same company came over and diagnosed cracked drainage pipe and charged repair cost of $850. The office asked the full payment to be made prior to starting the job. In the process of repairing the pipe, additional $225 charge was made to cut the tile under the toilet to get access to the pipe. Once that was done, the plumber stated no flush can be done till 24 hours later when the pipe cement is dry. He also needed to snake the drainage pipe for blockage next visit. When he came over to do the snaking, he stated that he needs to do a camera inspection and also needed a longer snake to do the job next time. The estimate for longer snake was $250 after already paying $1075 for the incomplete work and 3 separate visits. Most of the time, the phone calls to the office got unanswered. Finally, decided to hire a different plumber. He noted the toilet flange was installed incorrectly. read more

They rushed the part and then had one of their office staff drive the part to our house so the technician could come and fix it that Friday evening before they closed for the weekend. We went through Fidelity Home Services, and they WASTED $500 for random testing to find bubbles. This Company charged the insurance company, which then charged me over $6000.00 to do basic pipe repairs on a tenants house, in which they already started work and tried to even up-sell an additional $3000 for chimney work, which was NOT approved. They also falsified when the work was getting done as well as permits, which expanded from 3 days to 2 weeks. Afterwards, they call to get your credit card for payment, (my only over the phone payment w/ my credit card info), and I now have to dispute additional charges: -- $170 (Uber) -- $161 (Express) -- $51 (Express) If any of these charges are unfamiliar w/ you, it is because GoWaterHeaters are stealing your number for employee personal usage. Watch out for phone number: 323.749.7003 - as they will continue to call to take payments before job is done. They will play dumb and try to over charge and get additional costs slid into the work order. We have an active investigation going on now to see which of their account members are using the number for the charges. Be Warned, AVOID at all cost. SCAMMER ALERT. Jesus came to my house to service my water heater and told me I needed an entirely new water heater. He later changed the story saying I needed the burner cleaned & reset for $500. This wasn't covered on my home warranty anyway so I decided to go elsewhere because it seemed very suspicious. I hired a different company (On Time Rooter And Plumbing Guys) they came and reset the water heater in 10 seconds and everything worked again. SCAMMER ALERT! They were sent out to fix my Moen pull-out faucet, hose leaking, by my home warranty company. I should have known the guy was incompetent when he didn't know how to fix it and took videos for his office. Go Water Heater told me that I needed a whole new faucet and that they would replace it with the cheap-o apartment style one, or I could pay them to install a new one of my choice. This is a common problem, and Go Water Heater tried to take advantage of me and overcharge for the fix. I just got off the phone with Moen. They are sending me a new hose and washer assembly free. I called my home insurance, Sears, because my water heater was leaking. Go Water Heaters was the company Sears' home warranty send out. Their quote for a 50 gallon replacement was $1500.00 for a city permit and modifications. Sears was covering the water heater and labor. While the plumber was calling Sears in his truck, I reached out to local companies and most quoted me less than $1500.00 which included the haul away of the old one, all necessary parts to install and make EQ safe to code and labor to install new 50 gallon. I called Sears extremely upset after speaking with this company and telling him that other companies are willing to replace it for less. Go Water Heaters wouldn't lower their price and couldn't explain CLEARLY what the $1500.00 charge included. Sears offered me a credit if I used my desired company. I paid $1250.00 today and I'm extremely happy with this local company. I don't recommend Go Water Heaters to anyone. And I would not give them any stars if allowed. Worst company ever, do not use at all. The technician was patient, hens the 1 star, I hope there is less than 1 star BUT First they ask you to sign the waiver they are not responsible for any damage, really!, which company can do that. Also the technician came without ladder, borrows my ladder to access the heater, no problem, The guy did not know aby thing about the unit, he spent few hours to the manufacture over the phone till they are done with their day, he had to come the following day for another few hours, and they could not determine what was wrong, and in despite of the history and all the error log, he said a simple reset will fix it!. The technician, Alfonso, got his supervisor on the phone , Angel, and I explained to them the issues, and we all agreed, he will recommend replacing the unit through the home warranty. But they are liars, they lied, they reported to the home warranty that everything is working fine after reset! Also they lied to me as Alfonso said if this issue happens again, call us, and when I did they said sorry you have to call your home warranty company.
