This review is based on the UP-CHARGE Mike quoted me. I had been an ongoing customer with Go-Pher the Kill for a year, and then on an "as-needed" basis. My cost was $95/month for my home and barn. When i requested service again, Mike told me it would now cost $225 because i didn't want to sign up again for monthly service. OUTRAGEOUS! I have been a customer for a year and half! So, i did some shopping around and found 3 other pest control companies would charge me $50 LESS for the same service, "as needed". The lack of customer service and appreciation for my loyalty is highly disappointing. SHOP AROUND, THERE ARE CHEAPER companies with BETTER customer service and EXCELLENT work. read more

I would definitely recommend calling Mike for your pest control. I have been with Terminix for the past two years and they spray my home quarterly for household insects. I started hearing movement in my walls and asked them to come out. They informed me that if I have mice in the walls there is nothing they can do. I called Mike and problem solved. I had several openings around and under my house that made it very easy for my little intruders. Mike did an exclusion and set traps. He also came several times to check and discard the rodents. I called Mission pest control about a rodent issue. We had rats in the attic in the past, but thought it was taken care of...until we heard noises last night. I called Mission Pest Control on a Sunday morning (Woah, open on Sundays??? Thanks goodness!) and Mike came that same afternoon. Great experience so far. I had a different pest control company in the past and Mike was MUCH more thorough than they were. He is also more reasonably priced than the other pest control company. The previous company set 2 to 4 traps at places that were convenient for the technicians to reach. However, Mike set about twice as many and in strategic places. He also does an exclusion service (the other company basically told me what to fix and I had to do my own exclusion service haha). He definitely knows what he is doing. I will update in a few weeks to report on the issue itself, but so far I would definitely recommend him. read more

So I spent a pretty penny at my house with new lawn. First it was the rabbits. I was able to deal with them by placing a small gate around my lawn. Not the most aesthetic solution, but it worked and gave me peace of mind on my investment. Next came the gopher. I started this new battle determined to beat him/them as well. I started with poop from my dogs around the hole sites. That worked for about one week. It soon became ineffective no matter how much I placed. Then I went and bought gopher bate and the tool to drop into the site and tunnels. The gopher was smart. He basically would dig a new tunnel. Within two weeks, my beautiful lawn was ravaged with gopher mounds and roots from the palm trees that were near by. I realized I needed help for this smart and wily creature. I called Gopher For the Kill because at this point, that is what I wanted. He had to pay for what he did to my lawn, not to mention my stress and mental anguish. Smh....first time out, they were able to "get" the little guy. Amazing that such a small creature can cause so much trouble and damage. What a solid company. My wife and I just bought a new house and everything was perfect. Until our son saw a little friend running through the kitchen. Not good! We called and talked to Mike. Luckily he had a job in the area that day and was able to stop by and take a look. He checked our entire house and found that since we were on a raised foundation and a worker forgot to patch a hole the little mouse had got in. He set traps and we sealed the hole. He estimated by his findings that there was probably one mouse and we would have him in a couple hours. Mike was spot on with both estimates. A couple hours later the trap snapped and we haven't seen any more mice in our house since. The wife and I are happy and the kids and our food are safe. We really recommend using this company. When mike came out to my house and inspect my house, he immediately found how they've gotten into my house and patched the hole, Mike also helped us set some traps and came back to check on the every couple days to clean them out and reset the them.
