My family and I moved into a new development in 2013 and soon after settling in I notice a few electrical outlets not working. So since then we've gone without them (kitchen and backyard) but this week I finally made the commitment to get them fixed. Although they couldn't get to my job in the time that I needed because they were fully booked, they took the time to refer me to another reliable handyman who could help me get my job done sooner. Really can't ask for much better service than that. Much appreciated!!! read more

We were so impressed with Kasey. He installed a ceiling fan in only about 35 minutes. He was on time, professional, proficient and friendly. He was also quite easy to schedule with and he sent word when he was en route. We'll definitely hire him again for painting and a few other home repairs Update: Sadly I am no longer impressed with Go Handyman Services. I scheduled with Kasey for a painting job and he canceled twice. I've texted twice two weeks after he canceled and he never replied. If he can't do the job, fine but ignoring my inquiries is unprofessional. read more

Casey damaged our wall when putting up a small bookcase in the bathroom. He said he didn't have a lot going on the next the day so he could come back after 12 noon but he would call us. The next day noon came and left but no call from him. We called and txt'd him multiple times. He finally called at 5:30 that Fri evening but we were on the phone and asked if we could call him right back, which we did. He wouldn't answer phone but sent a text that he couldn't talk now. We waited till Monday (he didnt try to contact us over the weekend), then called again, no answer but he started txtng us. First he said he got a new phone, then he said he had an emergency as to why he hadnt scheduled coming back to fix our wall. Then he started txting about how much fixing our wall would typically cost plus reminded us to pay our bill. We said we're happy to pay once you fix the wall you damaged. Bottom line we gave up on him and all his excuses. He gave us a small reduction in the price but we would have preferred he fix our wall as he said he would. He's not dependable. read more

Hello, I don't do many reviews, but Casey did such a horrible job at my house I needed to say something. He came recommended from a real estate agent that turned out to be absolutely mad. Casey and I looked through the house together and he came back alone to do the work. This man did absolutely nothing that we talked about. Even the work he was supposed to do was so embarrassing our renters actually put his new work on their move-in problems. The kitchen island he did is so embarrassing also. Our outside rail he was supposed to fix it was so bad, but he was supposed to fix it. Somehow that was lost too. When I called him about it, this creep was going to charge me $50 for a quote! Hello, you were supposed to fix it as the #1 project weirdo. Be careful when a realtor bosses around a handyman read more

Casey painted our Victorian home in Benicia and did an amazing job! He showed up ON TIME every day, was flexible with working around our schedule, and cleaned up at the end of every day. He painted the walls and a TON of window and door trims on this 100 year old home. Casey's a good, honest guy who does good work. Hire him! read more

Scheduled with owner. No one ever showed nor called. Wasted entire day. Very disappointing. You called me back on Tuesday 12/14/2021, told me you would schedule me in on Thursday 12/16/2021 between 9-12. You advised it would take me three days out to schedule if I went your portal way. SIR it was YOU who verbally told me I was scheduled today. And Furthermore, you have NOT responded to my texts NOR CALLS. I called you TWICE as well as numerous texts. read more

Cassie is Great! I needed a ceiling fan installed. He was super accommodating of my schedule and even came on his day off. There was a manufacturing issue with the fan and he came back to switch it out with no hesitation. I also recommended him to my mother where he changed some ceiling lights for her. I will definitely be calling him back for some other home projects. read more

Cassey quoted me for a relatively large job, over $5 k to fix six spots of dry rot on my house, including hanging 18 ft boards up on second floor home, paint trim or where dry rot was fixed, flashing on roof, fix two gates, put a floor and wheels on my catio, remove outdated wood shutters on front of home to the replace with new modernized framing, paint. Cassey started off good, did a great job fixing 2 dry rot areas. He said the job would only take 3-5 days. I paid him half the first week as I felt he would continue to show up and do the job I hired him for. But he didn't. Then came excuse after excuse why he would be late or promise to come and not show up at all or show up for 2 hrs then disappear and not answer any text until next day saying oh he didn't see his text. He continued this way for an entire month, showing up about 2 x a week for a couple of hours then disappear again. He would say, his kid fell, he ran out of gas, car broke down, got stuck on another job and lost track of time, on and on BS. When he would show up after the first week, he would just power wash or paint my house when I didn't ask for that. He would say, don't worry it's free I'm not charging you. He would leave all his tools scattered around my outside home and I would collect and put it on the side of my house and the constant reminder of him not there really started to annoy me as I felt something is really wrong with this guy and yes, as a nurse I suspected drugs due to this irresponsible behavior. He broke a nice plant pot of mine then backed into my gate that he was suppose to already reinforce it and broke the handle but said, Don't worry I'll fix it but he didn't. He put the broken split piece of wood back up and rigged it up half assed and it doesn't work at all now. He also pulled off part of my shutters to my home and left the rest on and never did nothing more so for over a month my house was left looking dilapidated and I told him, I am embarrassed so can you please finish the job but he just wouldn't do it. Again powering washing my driveway or house and then he painted two small side window framing black and smeared paint on the wall where I couldn't reach it so high to correct it. The new roofers I hired said he had no idea what he was doing as they said he broke some of my title roof shingles walking incorrectly on the roof and all the sloppy flashing he put up had to be removed. Then he had bought two 16 ft fascia boards for the second floor each costing $200 which sat on the side of my house for a month until the new roofers could put up. This when I learned the measurements were off on each fascia board by a foot and no way of returning it. Cassey told me in the beginning he had medical problems so the kind person I am I tried to be patient with him but I finally gave up realizing it was just another lie and the experience he put me through has left me feeling so disappointed and upset as he collected way more money then he earned. I never got what I paid for except a bunch of power washing and half my house painted that my house didn't even need and it was not what I hired him to do. I've learned from my contractor neighbor who watched everything he did and didn't do that he should of never accepted a job he wasn't even qualified such as the roof. I also learned a handyman should ever accept more then $500 per job with materials included as it's against the law. Cassey caused me a lot of grief and tears and I pray no one else ever endures this the way I did. It really makes me sad I had to write this review because I really love giving great reviews but I had no choice. read more

Casey is amazing! Super knowledgeable, friendly & always goes above and beyond the call of duty. He has helped us with countless varying jobs over the last couple years (fix window frames, broken drawers, shower repair) but his most recent visit was to install a window AC unit. Had a great experience with Casey who reconfigured our entertainment center. Loved the ability to book right on his website and email him pictures of what we needed. He arrived right on time wearing a mask and booties. Casey had innovative ideas much better than what I was thinking. He volunteered to run to Home Depot to get some patching material plus painted the interior which looks wonderful! We now have a clean design that enhances the view of our TV and still allows the components to be hidden. Casey took a look at an issue with our smoke detectors while he was waiting for paint to dry. It's true - he does go above and beyond. We will definitely have him back to work through our list of home projects! read more

I found Casey through Yelp so I think it's only fair I pass along my excellent experience! Casey has a very straightforward and easy to navigate website, you can see his pricing and availability immediately, no money is requested up front, and there are automated text services to confirm your request. Casey showed up at the beginning of my selected time frame and was able to fix my garbage disposal in a pleasant and timely manner - and at a great price! I will definitely be a repeat customer :) read more

5 years ago I hired casey to redo my downstairs bathroom for my son's birthday. I gutted my bathroom so casey could install the cabinet, toilet and paint and texture the bathroom. Party was on Saturday and Casey was to show up on Thursday to complete the job. Never showed up and did not pick up phone. I had to let our guest use our upstairs bathroom. Forward 4 years later and we decided to sell our house in vallejo and move to Benicia. I wanted to update my house so I could sell it for a higher price. 40k in updates. My agent said he had a new guy who wants a job very badly. As soon as said casey I knew it was him. Showed me a picture to confirm it. Almost fired my agent for recommending him but he had never worked with him. My new house in Benicia had close to 60k in upgrades. Casey cost himself close to 100k in work because he decided to flake on his small job 5 years ago. Karma buddy. Do not use him. read more

Best handyman always responds in a timely manner and job is always done professionally . Would highly recommend to anyone!!

I am a currently a customer of Casey and hope to use his services exclusively in the future. He and his brother have demonstrated professionalism and skill in all work they performed in my home. I was pleased with a recent follow-up visit, when he completed the (2-part) job of hanging a chandelier in my kitchen. Casey also understands the importance of calling to make the homeowner aware of his timeline, when he will arrive and if he is going to be delayed. Thank-you so much for your help, it's been a pleasure. read more

I needed 2 mirrors hung, and called Go Handyman Services after seeing their high Yelp rating and positive reviews. Based on past experiences, I was bracing myself to make a million calls to various handymen; and figured that most of them wouldn't answer, or would give me the run around if they did. Lucky for me, that wasn't the case. I called shortly after 7am, and was able to reach Casey immediately. He booked me in for a same day appointment, and arrived early on in my scheduled window time. He was timely, courteous, efficient, and neat; my mirrors look great, and I couldn't be happier! I've been searching for a reliable handyman for YEARS, and have finally find one in Casey.
