I came here with my friends during work just for a little dessert after lunch and they have a lot of flavor, but I will say it's kind of annoying that you have to have the person behind the counter. Do your toppings for you. I understand that post Covid. They might want to keep everything clean, but it was kind of annoying because if you only wanted a little bit of a topping, they would heap the topping on anyways because they get paid more money since the cup goes on the scale. The inside was cute, but there's minimal seating and it's not the cleanest. read more

Go Greenly - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Dobbs Ferry, New York

Since spending more and more time in Dobbs Ferry, I foolishly thought this was solely a frozen yogurt spot every time I pass by . Come to find out- this is more than just FroYo. At the very tip corner of Cedar St, Go Greenly ALSO offers Bubble Tea, smoothies and a couple of other things. On a super humid Halloween late afternoon, I finally notice them and their bubble tea grabbed my attention. Plus since I'm a lychee bubble tea addict, this was just right- for me. Go G.'s inside has a lot of sit down space by the window and the counter setup is vast as well. Service was fine and when I requested the light ice and an extra shot of Lychee in my drink, my wish was granted. I may not be a bubble tea expert- but this much I know, Go G's boba is (1) smooth and slightly soft on the outside and it was chewy all the way through (2) the lychee [syrup] was actually tasty (3) had nice tea flavor. All those factors for me, won. Ton of calories aside, I'd return. read more

I always want to like this place but the service is just so bad. They are just always so rude and make your presence feel like a bother. They keep the spoons and lids behind the counter but make you wait behind a long line to get them. It seems like they are too cheap to allow people access to spoons and lids, but their product is not cheap. I'd expect to at least be able to grab an extra spoon or lid if my toddler drops one on the floor. After going at least a half a dozen times and really trying to like this place, I think I finally just have to admit it's horrible read more

Elevated prices in this bland-looking store. Very low levels of customer service ruin the experience somewhat.

Went to this location on 8/9/2020 I appreciate the safety measures being implemented to protect the customers and employees at this location but the customer service here was about as good as you get at the DMV. We got the "Get in and get the hell out" treatment. I walked in and grabbed a froyo cup for my son and I and a female employee snatched the cup out of my hand and with a nasty attitude said, "You don't do it, we do it. What flavor you want?" *If you don't want customers touching the cups, PUT THE CUPS OUT OF REACH. Seems pretty logical, no? Maybe hide them behind the counter? I approached the topping bar and the male employee told me to step back more. I was already a good distance away from the topping bar and had a mask on so I don't see the problem. *Put a marker on the floor indicating where you want a customer to specifically stand. I walked in with my son, brother, and sister-in-law and we were all pretty upset. My sis-in-law decided not to order anything because she was upset about how I was treated and didn't want to deal with the employees. Of course we were rushed because only one customer is allowed in at a time but I can't find a good excuse for the way we were treated. First and last time I go here. You are better off going to the Go Greenly in Scarsdale. The employees at this location can not handle the new safety measures and are obviously stressed. read more

This was the third location of Go Greenly I have been to. At this time, you can go inside to order but you have to wait outside and they will bring your drink to you. Luckily they have a table outside for this. I wasn't in the mood for yogurt so I got bubble tea instead (no boba). It quenched my thirst, albeit being very sweet. I'll most likely come back the next time I am in the area, as I have a friend who lives around the block! read more

I want to give this place more stars because the yogurt was great, but the counter person working there was just awful. No greeting, barely made eye contact - she's clearly an angry person not happy with her job. After writing this, I started reading other reviews and found a pattern of bad service. I hope the owner reads this review along with the others, and realizes that the future of their yogurt shop could be in jeopardy based on their staff choices. BB read more

Their froyo tastes good but the customer service is terrible. We asked for cups to sample a flavor and the worker snapped at us saying theres no more sample cups...so my sister asked if we can have a spoon to sample and she snapped at us again saying theres no spoons. How does a froyo spot have no spoons? She was so rude, didnt look us in the eye and seemed like she couldnt be bothered to even ring us up. I dont think i would come back here. It was an older lady, i believe a filipina. read more

Although I had an amazing froyo cup with taro and vanilla froyo and mochi, passion fruit balls and lychee balls, I have to say the selection and atmosphere was dissapointing. They only had very basic flavors besides the taro, which I found to be odd because it's so unusual but appreciated. It was so quiet, the staff working there didn't even talk really. They didn't seem like they wanted to be there really. The toppings were alright but again the selection was minimal. It was a satisfying dessert and I wouldn't say I wouldn't have it again, it just wouldn't be my first choice read more

I showed up at 11:50 knowing they opened up at noon. The worker inside saw I was waiting outside with a young girl. At 12:05 I knocked and she waved her fingers no. I knocked again, trying to find out how much longer and if it was worth the wait. She opened the door with an attitude and said "30 minutes. Not my problem. Sometimes things aren't ready on time like people want them to be." As I drove down the street 5 minutes later, the store was open and people were inside. I parked my car and came inside and said "You could have just told me another few minutes. I wouldn't be upset if you were running late." She rolled her eyes and gave me my total. Very unprofessional. Staff should get here on time to ensure on time opening, especially if there are people outside. 4 other people walked away disappointed. read more

Go Greenly - a display of a variety of desserts - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Dobbs Ferry, New York

Two out of the last three times that I've taken out frozen yogurt from them, the yogurt had a chemical-ish taste (my guess is that it may be related to cleaning fluid for the machines) since the nauseating chemical taste is not related to a specific flavor. Considering the not inexpensive cost (a medium cup ends up being around $10), realizing that multiple items are unpleasant or disgusting to eat after the fact is less than consumer-friendly. read more

Yelp should truly have a a no star review option !! Because this place deserve a big fat GOOSE EGG !! The worker treated me like I was a toddler, I asked to give me the small taster cups because my go to flavor was out of order for the moment and the lady comes with her bare hands touching the small cups from the lip rim asking me which one I wanted to try and I told her I was okay I can do it myself, she refuses to give me the cup and told me no, mind you she had no gloves ! I don't know the last time she washed her hands or even used the bathroom ! The other worker was as rude as her she was talking to me while eating with her mouth full ! Go Greenly - On their cellphone breathing right in top of the Condiment/ toppings - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Dobbs Ferry, New York

Didn't really think you could mess up on froyo, but you can, and I probably will not be coming back here. They didn't have much of a variety when it came to the yogurt, only 4 options which is extremely limited when most frozen yogurt shops have at least 8-12 depending on where you go. Second, i was disappointed with the amount of toppings the clerk put on my yogurt. I had a bunch of yogurt I plopped into my cup and asked for about 5 toppings which the clerk had no problem putting on, however she was very skimpy with it and it was gone in two seconds once I mixed it into my yogurt. Also for the price she could have added more. Two froyo bowls =$20 later. It didn't feel very inviting either , no offense to her but a little customer service would be appreciated. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars ! Just left after one of the employees refused to provide the sample cup unless she did it herself !? Then she gives me a stupid look because I said it was unsanitary that she's grabbing the cups with her bare hands ! And then the other employee while she stuffs her face says she's grabbing it from the bottom... Uh no she wasn't I am watching her grab the sample cups and fondle them as she walks over to the machine. Both very rude and didn't seem to understand that it is unsanitary to handle the cups and handle the yogurt for the customers without gloves !!! How do I know she didn't just use the rest room and didn't wash up !? All the while also I point you to the pictures ! read more

Sad to see this got such low reviews. We really like the bubble tea here! It's not like your typical bubble tea sugar mix. It's definitely the best I have had in the area. We ordered the Thai Milk Tea from the series and the Honeydew Milk Tea. The quality is really good, I assume that is why it takes longer? It will definitely be my goto spot when I am not in a hurry as it took quite a bit to get 2 bubble teas when the store was completely empty. But tastes great nonetheless! read more

This is definitely one of if not my favorite yogurt shops in Westchester. The staff is always pleasant, attentive, and helpful and the venue itself is always clean. The worst thing is when you walk into a shop and the place is just a mess with spilt yogurt and dirty spoons all over the place. I come here instead of Red Mango or Pinkberry as the yogurt here is just as good minus the pretentious attitude. The toppings bar is great with both dry and refrigerated options. They have a good mix of yogurt flavors and even offer sorbet if you're not one for dairy. Aside from yogurt they also serve smoothies, milkshakes, and bubble tea (both milk and fruit) which is fantastic! I will definitely be coming back to this Go Greenly. read more

Food is good, but older lady who works there is not kind. I will not be going back. And there was a line behind me. Very odd read more

I should have listened to my fellow yelpers! The yogurt is great but the owner is the rudest and nastiest person i have ever encountered! Long story short, she wanted to re-weigh and re-charge me for a tea spoon of honey -_- Even though the scarsdale location is an extra 5 minutes away im willing to take the commute in order to avoid this nasty owner read more

I like the yogurt and I'm excited about some of the new items they added it to the menu. However; If their business depend it on their staff friendliness, making a connection with your guests and just providing regular smiles this place would go out of business. Not to mention that the manager never return any call requests for participation of local church events. Two times I left messages and never got a call back. Ones in a while you see somebody OK at this place, but that is strange when you do. If you have a business in Dobbs you have to learn that this is a very very small community. We all know each other and talk and recommend local business. You need improvement. read more

generally not the type of gal whose ever thought of herself as a fro -yo person...although i enjoy regular yogurt at home...when it comes to frozen treats i go all the way -- ice cream! and if more decadent gelato...or Ritas in yonkers, tucahoe rd of central ave...surrounded by italian ice :)...but friend who is an enthusiast took me here...passed it a thousand times myself...it was very good! Taro sounded nasty- but the attendant gave me small cup to taste....great & nutella...even the chocolate...great toppings...sauces...what the heck... I'm a convert! first, the froyo is absolutely delicious. I've been to several froyo chains, and this is one of the best I've tried. now in regards to hygiene (as other people have mentioned), do they not get any training here or do they just not care? The girl was texting on her phone when we walked in and then she grabbed the sample cups (NO GLOVES) with her fingers covering the rim of the cup which we'd be putting in our mouths. Do you know how germ-ridden phones are? For her not to put on gloves, hand sanitizer, nothing...? Not sure why this hasn't been fixed when so many people have complained about it. read more

The frozen yogurt is good and the bubble tea however the lady working there is very rude. Customer service is clearly not a priority here.

Love this yogurt place is better than Menchies yogurt place!! I love go greenly healthier options than other ice cream stores.

You would think that during summer time, the employees wouldn't fret over 10 dollars. I purchased 4 drinks and 2 of the cups slit open and made a huge mess. The top cover was still intact showing you I didn't even get to taste it. I called the story hoping the guy would accommodate me for the split drinks and Harrison said yes no problem and told us to come back. We drove back and Harrison and a girl that claimed to be the manager said they misunderstood and they refused to make the drinks again. Such a waste of time and gas. Customers satisfaction are supposed to be number one priority. This was a disappointing experience and embarrassing. My family and I will not be returning read more

I'm giving this place one star because the worker was so rude and disrespectful. You have to wait for the worker inside to open the door for you to come in. She saw me standing outside and pretended not to see me and had me waiting while she was standing there doing nothing. Then when I went inside, she told me the menu is on the window (only visible from the outside of the store) so I went back outside. When I figured out what I wanted, I stood in the door for her to let me in again. She ignored me me for about 2 minutes, then gestured for me to come in while rolling her eyes at me. I placed my order, then gave her a $20 bill to pay and she rudely said "don't you have smaller change than that?" I 100% will never step foot in the place ever again. I will not support a business that is rude and disrespectful to customers. It takes $0 to be kind. read more

This place is ok, nothing special. Toppings are standard. They have between 6 and 8 flavors at a time.

poor service. they hang out in the back and send out their text messages while you wait for the lazy counter person to take your money first before making your order. They make smoothies in the back where you can't see if they're urinating or adulterating your food, which i wouldn't put it past them, because the workers are lazy, all they do is look at their phones and check the clock. Must be poor ownership. Cups and spoons all over the sidewalk in front too. No one from the shop seems to care about that either. Better place right down the street with fresh ingredients, not that processed garbage that this place uses. Pass on this dummmpp!!! read more

My friends and I waited outside for 10 minutes knocking on the door and the worker ignored us even though we knew she could hear us. When she did let us in, she was incredibly rude and unfriendly. Also, the frozen yogurt is below average and not worth the money. read more

I actually haven't experienced any of the negativity that other Yelpers have, but I've only gone a couple of times. Parking is always annoying, so I generally only go if I'm already nearby. Otherwise, I know what I want, put it in the cup, get the toppings (great selections and the fruit has always been super fresh in my experience!), weigh, pay and go. People working are always chatting, but whatever, I'm not there to linger. The seating isn't the greatest, but I always am getting it to go. Truthfully, I can't wait until 16 Handles opens in Westchester, but this is a solid local place when I'm craving some fro-yo. read more

Go Greenly (used to be known as Go Greenberry) has the best frozen yogurt flavors! Taro is my favorite, although that's getting picked up by a lot of other froyo places. But Go Greenly, unlike many of the other places, constantly creates new flavors. The two latest being nutella and toasted marshmallow--both are amazing! They also offer a student discount and a frequent buyer card. The workers I've encountered here have been nice. read more

I've been coming here since it first opened - They originally were called something "pink" and I think Pinkberry made them change there name! But let's fast forward to last night. Six flavors were available: Tart, Taro, Vanilla, Chocolate, Graham Cracker crunch, and a pomegranate fruit thing. I tasted Graham cracker - it was like a combo of pomegranate and the inside of a machine. Pass! My wife tasted the vanilla and said it was pretty good, so I went with that and added on the side of it tart. Tart is usually pretty safe as it's plain yogurt, more or less. The tart literally tasted like you could imagine a flavor called "dirty old dishtowel." It seeped into the vanilla a little and the who thing was absolutely disgusting and I threw it away. This place clearly no longer cares about the quality of their product, or they are lazy or just gave up. Can't tell and doesn't matter. They have been declining for a while now, but there's no way I'll ever go back. Every other Froyo place is about 1000 times better. ZERO stars! read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by after a nice dinner at Tomatillo. We said hello to the girl behind the counter, to no response. Nothing. She was too busy texting. This is a very unfortunate situation. I do admit that I enjoy the yogurt that is served here but the owner is the nastiest business owner I have ever come across as a consumer. I went in about 2 days ago with my friend and we inquired about the lychee flavor as it wasn't being served that day. The owner approached us and explained that it was in the freezer (already dispensed). I kindly said no thank you as the texture of this type of yogurt is much different when kept in the freezer and not directly from the machine. She became belligerent as if I insulted her and said I was wasting her time. I said its not a problem- i'm going to get a different flavor. She continued to scream at me that I was wasting her time and how she isn't a millionaire, she is just selling yogurt. Unfortunately by this time I had already dispensed my yogurt and needed to pay during which time she continued to yell at me. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Also want to point out that the selection of fresh fruit is poor and the other toppings are disgusting! I have NEVER ever been treated like this as a customer in a retail store. I don't know who this lady thinks she is but there is no ice cream or yogurt good enough to endure her wrath to want to ever go back! ***STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE VERBALLY ASSAULTED!!!*** read more

The food was okay, but employees were super rude. No one was inside and we had to knock multiple times for her to come out. When she finally came she acted as though we were wasting her Time. Wow, they really managed to screw up a good thing here. -- The owner recently instituted a strict "1-sample policy" -- no exceptions. Great entrepreneurial business model....start a place that caters to kids, then take your worst customers and assume everyone will behave like them. And they're nasty about it! -- The yogurt is astronomically expensive. Expect to pay at least $5 per person. -- No air conditioning. Um, it's a summer place with heat-producing machines, might want to think about ventilation solutions. It's too bad because the yogurt is very tasty.
