The first time I had a hot fudge sundae, and the fudge and whipped cream were exceptional - I'm guessing both are homemade. However, the Irish Cream ice cream was greatly lacking in flavor. I decided to have my son try a different flavor when I went back a second time. He got the Rum Raisin, and his first comment was it tastes like nothing but sweet. He did not know of my first experience. It's a shame that you are making gourmet, creamy, dense ice cream, but the flavor is so minimal. It would be so much better if you just boosted the flavors a bit! Thanks for letting me comment.

We couldn't resist a coconut fan dessert after having a latte, because it just felt like the perfect way to end the meal. The food was quite good for a cafe, but the real highlight is their coffee so much so that I bought a bag of their whole beans to brew at home. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Then there is pistachio (cream?) and the phyllo dough pieces, cut strawberries (nice surprise), and what tasted like homemade whipped cream. The only thing I could say is there was very little pistachio in it. Veryyyy stingy with the pistachio part but very very very good otherwise. Even though they were nutty enough (pistachio pun?) to charge $14, I would actually get it again if I had the chance. Sadly it was pricey enough that my husband opted out of trying it so, see? Price is always important to consider. This location had the ingredients in stock for this special sundae whereas Yonkers had "no ingredients left" so I was grateful for that. I was so happy as I love all things lemon and was very excited to try - thinking I found a place that had pancakes that was as good as Golden Diner but closer to home with parking so off I went. They have small sidewalk seating but I chose to eat inside where there are a few tables and cute art on the walls. I ordered my pancakes with a side of bacon and settled in mouth watering. There are four small pancakes on the plate slathered with a lemon glaze and while I do love lemon, it was so much glaze that it was overpowering the actual taste of the pancakes. There was also and entire side of fruit which offset the tartness of all that lemon so that was good. Now when I say I ordered a side of bacon and received a SIDE of bacon I'm not lying. There were at least six pieces if not more of nicely cooked bacon which I enjoyed. While I wasn't a fan of the pancakes, I would absolutely go back to try some of their other breakfast items as everything looked so good.

The soft serve was creamy. The ice in the Hawaiian shaved ice could have been finer and thinner shaved, it felt more like a snow cone that use crushed ice. It wasn't powdery and snow-like.
