From start to finish, this was, by far, the easiest move I've ever had! Not only were the boxes delivered, but when I needed more they were there the next day! We used Green Box for our move in Bend and it was absolutely amazing. Having the bins delivered was so convenient! Brian unloaded them right into our garage, they nested together so they hardly took up any room. He included labels so we could label the bins as we packed. Go Green Box was one of my better decisions during this last move. I'd done a Yelp search for organizing and moving and they popped up. I'd never heard of the concept before, but for the price, it seemed like a fabulous idea! After a call with the owner and a quick scheduled drop off a day later we started packing. At a little over $100 for 25 stackable tubs that we could use for two weeks, they were absolutely fantastic The honey had ordered a set of regular paper boxes before I found Green Box, so we got to use both and see the difference between the two. The paper boxes had to be put together - we used duct tape that didn't seem stick well and the packing tape they sent us just made it seem like more work since it stuck to itself. Honestly putting them together was exhausting. The green boxes were easy to plug and play and even came with labels! I literally pulled them off the stack and started dumping stuff in. We didn't feel nervous putting liquids or breakables in them because they were hard plastic and they shut tight, so they could be stacked and used with a dolly. This meant we could fit more into our uhaul, because they were made to fit together. They'll be picked up at our old home this weekend and next to our Amazing Movers, were the best decision I made this move. Go Green Box was the best solution for easy moving, next to hiring movers to do everything for me, of course. I couldn't have been happier with the decision to use this service! My husband was a little skeptical about paying to rent boxes, and wanted to go the "free" route of scavenging for boxes behind stores and businesses, I thought... "Umm, NO!" and called up Bryan at Go Green Box. I was scheduled for a 9am drop off of 25 boxes with a 2 week rental, this was genius! We got our boxes (promptly as scheduled) and started packing. The boxes are plastic totes that are sturdy and big, they held everything! The best part was that we could stack them pretty high and it wouldn't ruin anything inside. Once the boxes were full, they stacked perfectly inside the moving truck. Moving sucks! Anyone who has ever had to pack all of their worldly possessions up and move from one place to the next feels my pain. Running around looking for cardboard boxes, asking friends and family to start gathering boxes from their work, taping them up just to have them fall apart under the weight of your dishes or old college books. Not to even mention the fact that most of the boxes get crushed from the weight of stacking other boxes on top of each other. Or once you have everything loaded in the truck they fall over at the first turn you take. Go Green Box is the answer! Moving is such a pain in the rear, but Go Green Boxes totally took a ton of the hassle out! I dread packing, even for a 3 day trip, so packing up an entire two-bedroom apartment is a small nightmare to me. But having these boxes helped a ton! You rent them for a two week period, which was just enough. When I called, I talked with Rosie. She recommended 35 boxes based on our apartment size, and was dead-on. We had about 3 boxes leftover at the end. I scheduled a time for them to drop off the boxes, a week before our move. Brian and Manny arrived right on time, and between the two of them and a couple of dollies, had the boxes in my living room within 5 minutes! I loved that they stacked neatly in the corner and we could just pull them out one by one as me and my roomie needed them. They were super-clean inside, too. The best part was, aside from not having to scrounge/beg for used boxes and/or paying for new ones....the fact that we didn't have to deal with tape and putting boxes together. Such a pain! Especially with those damn tape guns. Who really knows how to use those, anyway? Plus, with the cardboard boxes I always end up filling them too heavy with kitchen stuff and no one can lift them. These are totally sturdy and just the right size so you don't end up stuffing them too much. My roomie and I hired movers (another brilliant decision) and they loved them too! They could load up their dollies and move 5 or 6 at a time. Handles on the side make them easy to lift, and the labels are perfect because the movers could clearly see which room they went into. When we were done, Brian happily picked them up after I got home from work on a Monday night. We have stairs at our new place, so no dollies, but he and Manny just carried them down 5 or 6 at a time. Boxes cleared out in 5 minutes flat! I would highly recommend renting these for the convenience, and the little added bonus that you're helping save the environment, too! I have to say, I truly despise moving. Unfortunately because of my husbands job, we have to move fairly often. I heard about Go Green Box and looked up reviews on yelp. After experiencing it for myself, the reviews are spot on. I didn't really have time to go and seek out cardboard boxes and saw that getting these boxes was comparable to the cost of purchasing boxes. I have it a try, and was super pleased with their service. I hope I never have to move without these things again. They are so super convenient. First, Rosie is super friendly to deal with. She worked with our schedule and Brian dropped off the boxes at our apartment along with the roller cart-thingy. Moving the stack of boxes around -whether they are empty or full- was really easy. With an elevator, you literally just need to lift them to stack them and lift them in the truck. We could fit 16 in our full sized truck bed at one time. You also don't really need to pack things as well as you normally do, because the boxes are hard plastic. About 99% of our stuff fit in the boxes. Everything in the boxes was perfectly intact after the movers handled them. The movers broke a framed photo and a chair, which obviously were not packed in the boxes, so that gives you an idea of how gentle they were with our stuff (enter sarcasm). Once we moved everything in, it was so great to simply be able to stack them in the corner as we unpacked each box. I have always felt so guilty in the past with how much waste there is from moving, but I felt so good knowing how small my carbon footprint was this time around. We ran into a few other people moving out of our building at the time and they all expressed how jealous they were that we had these boxes and commented on how easy they looked to handle. My family and I recently moved and decided to try Go Green Box. We didn't want to have to buy or scrounge for cardboard boxes and buy a bunch of tape, especially knowing we'd then have to get rid of them when the move was over. The ability to stack the boxes was going to be a huge advantage also! We couldn't have been more happy with our decision. The boxes are clean, super sturdy and come with labels that easily affix to (and remove from) the boxes for labeling what's inside. The Go Green team was super helpful and the prices were reasonable. When we weren't quite ready for the boxes to be picked up, the cost of extending the rental for a week was very cheap (obviously it didn't entail pick-up or delivery which is the bulk of their expense I imagine). I'm not sure why everyone isn't using this service. It is amazing! It's amazing because: 1. You don't have to go out and buy boxes and haul them to your home. This service drops the boxes at your home and picks them up at your new home when you're finished! 2. You don't have to build and break down boxes. Taping boxes is a nightmare because the tape guns DO NOT work. Breaking down boxes leaves paper cuts. 3. You don't have to store or dispose of the boxes when you are finished using them. 4. The items that are in the boxes are protected from damage. I moved a two bedroom, two bathroom home and NOTHING broke! I moved this weekend, and although I was only renting a room and moving into an apartment I had way more stuff than I imagined. I was going to just throw all my stuff in garbage bags like I have done before, but instead I decided to rent some boxes... These boxes made everything so much easier, they stacked right in back of the truck making it easier to take things over, and being able to get much more in each load. The boxes are pretty self explanatory but worked perfectly, latched and stacked, and kept all my things safe during the truck ride over. I am tired of paying too much for traditional moving boxes that I eventually give away, recycle, or worst yet, throw away. I also had a bad experience moving my family of four during a sudden rain storm and we lost irreplaceable items such as art my children made with they were in elementary school. This is my 2nd rental for green boxes and decided to go with Go Green Box. Main reason is that "a mix of different size boxes" did not help me from earlier move and I wanted larger boxes. So I compared various options and this seemed to be most optimal. Customer service was very friendly and punctual. Gotta tell you...BIG move after buying a new home. While looking for a place to buy a fortune in cardboard moving boxes, stumbled upon Go Green Box. Seemed like a good, economical, and environmentally friendly choice. I thought, after moving, what do you do with a million moving boxes, right? They delivered right on time, and loaded the coolest boxes right into our house. The boxes are big enough for just about everything, but not so big you can't move them. They close right up, and stack wonderfully. Even the moving company was impressed with how easy and efficient these were. I was concerned, however, that because these are "rentals", I would be forced to unload every box. Usually, with cardboard moving boxes, I have ten or so that sit around forever in the garage, and never get unloaded. I actually love that, in order to return the boxes, I had to unload and set up everything in it's proper place. No more mysterious stack of boxes hanging out! Also, there was a little celebration with each box that was emptied. As they were emptied, they stack very neatly so you don't create a big mess with cardboard everywhere. Another cool thing! Finally, we were finished, all boxes emptied and stacked, and called them to come and pickup. Very accomidating, we'll be right there, and they were. All the moving material was gone!!!
