    Protein Brekkie

What happened to the portion sizes? I got the protein brekkie and it came with 30-40% egg then normal. Won't go back

This is a very nostalgic spot for my partner and I. We used to sneak away their takeout for breakfast during Covid and it holds a little cute place in my heart. Their avocado sandwich is quite possibly one of my favorites in LA. I love the pickled veggies or onions that come on the side. The protein brekkie is also a favorite. I appreciate that they offer a simple, straight forward latte although sometimes I wish I could switch it up for a vanilla flavor. Lots of cute merch in the store as well! Parking can be challenging but you're bound to find a meter somewhere.

Literally worst matcha latte ever. Chalky, no matcha taste, not sweet and gross. Literally undrinkable. I threw it away. However, the black cold brew was not bad. Food was better than the drink, but not good enough to come back, sorry.

I love coming to this coffee shop, it's so nice to sit on their street side outroor patio in beautiful Highland Park and enjoy a nice breakfast with coffee. The cold brew is really good and tastes freshly made. The overnight oats are really tasty as well, it's made with coconut milk and cinnamon. And the consistency is perfect, not super thick nor runny. The staff are really nice too and make everything to order. A cool local coffee shop!

Today, I woke up with a serious need for caffeine to start the week. I placed an order online, then found metered parking out front. Look for the flashing green light for meters with time left. GGET is in a cool shared space with Triple Beam Pizza and Hippo. At the window, you tell them your name and you're good to go. The icy Almond Macadamia Latte hits the spot on a hot morning. On your first sip, the nutty aromas of the almonds and macademias race to your tastebuds. For some reason I imagine magic elves smashing almonds and macadamias with mallets. The coffee beans have been expertly roasted making this an exceptional coffee beverage.

I ordered an Iced Honey Matcha Latte and it tasted like watery juiced grass. $8 down the drain. Tasted no honey. I was suggested to add simple syrup. It didn't help much at all. So I drank it cuz I paid for it but this was definitely a 1st & last time for me.

Doesn't seem like there is a lot of seating. Is this just a to-go place or can 4 people sit and eat breakfast?

They have a seating area indoors just outside the shop and plenty of seating outside in the back courtyard.

I searched everywhere around WeHo and came up short, so I did what any sane person would do: deep research and an early-morning drive to Eagle Rock Italian Bakery & Deli. Worth. Every. Mile. The place itself is adorable, and the employee who helped me was genuinely the best: patient, friendly, and clearly proud of what they sell (as they should be). I grabbed: 4 cannolis (2 chocolate because it's my husband's favorite, plus pistachio and traditional) A dozen assorted cookies A baguette because I wanted to do a proper Italian-style birthday breakfast Let me be clear: you cannot go wrong with any of the cannoli flavors. The shells were perfectly crisp, the filling was rich without being too sweet, and the first bite was an actual flavor explosion. The good kind. Not the alarming Yelp kind. Every cookie was solid. No duds. No regrets. And the baguette... I almost cried. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and exactly how Italian bread is supposed to be. I saw someone complain here about the bread "exploding" when they bit into it, and I'm not sure they know that's... literally the point? Anyway, more for us. I'm honestly glad this place isn't closer to my house because I'd be there weekly and would eventually have to consider Ozempic as a lifestyle choice. That said I am 100% coming back, just responsibly... and occasionally... probably soon.

I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. Given our mutual love for pastrami, we decided to begin our experience with both versions -- House and Oinkster with chili fries to share. We were given a number, then got ourselves seated. I enjoyed the caramelized onions and red cabbage coleslaw in the Oinkster. The husband is a fan of the small container of horseradish mustard that comes with it. The chili fries were ok. The Pastrami had a brilliant balance between the mustard and pickle. The Philly Cheesesteak had the same brilliant balance with the meat and cheese that was in every bite. I was torn between the two great sandwiches. I'd have to say that this place has become, so far, my favorite spot for a Philly Cheesesteak and Pastrami. This place is a must return kind of place for me to stop by for a bite (even when I'm not hungry), and I can't wait to recommend or bring people here.
