One and done. We love to travel and try breweries everywhere we go, so I feel justified in reviewing this place as less than par. Beer was so-so to bad at best. Service was not friendly. Staff was drinking while on the job. Group of people so loud and carousing with the staff, we were over it after traveling all day. Our experience was this was like the Franklin House of breweries. No thanks. I miss Devil's Trumpet, its owner, and the relaxed atmosphere.

This place is awesome! Stopping by from out of town and it hit the spot! From the moment you walk in you're greeted with a welcoming vibe, friendly staff and a passion for brewing you can taste in every pour! (I tasted alot). Whether you are into happy IPAs, crisp layers, rich stout or even some mead, there is something here for everyone's palette preference. My favorite beer so far is the Bee Pils, but its hard to choose. They also host food trucks from time to time, which is a bonus making this place more than just a place to grab a beer! Highly recommend, whether you're a local or just passing through, this brewery is a must-stop. Cant wait to go back!

Hands down one of the best breweries. They have stouts year round and that is something that a lot of breweries can claim. Stouts are my beer of choice and they have released some of THE BEST combinations that have all been amazing. I live in oak lawn but will make the drive to enjoy some of their great brews. The owners and brewers are also super kind and will explain anything you are curious about. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a nice barrel room for groups who would like to do a tour. Thanks guys for making great brews for us stout lovers and stout snobs

Love Gnosis, it's hands down one of the best breweries in NWI and their beer quality is on par with every single top tier Chicago brewery you can think of in its vicinity. If you are in the area it's a place to frequently visit as they are always dropping new brews. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about their beer and mead selection and very attentive to their customers. They also, often have really good food trucks there and if you have your kids in tow they are also kid friendly so stop on in and check em out!

The atmosphere here is great, and the beer is amazing! The owners are personable and make an effort to get to know their clientele. They enjoy educating those who are new to the beer industry. The menu offers a great variety of options, and the staff is outstanding. They ensure that the establishment is kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for families. I also love that they are adding more food trucks during their hours of operation to support other small business owners in the industry.

A-OK but, it can get smokey and kinda crowded pretty quick…read more Here's the skinny: Simple drinks here... no fancy isht Mind your lungs, it gets smokey in here. Not much room on the "back side" of the bar. Booths are hard on your cheeks. Tables are better for a group. Here's the fat: If you're looking for a Martini or something, look elsewhere. Here it's beer, and simply mixed drinks as fast as they can pour 'em. This is another one of those NWI no frills just bottle and draft beer places. If you want a particular mixed drink - bring the recipe... they'll make it for you. If you don't smoke and have an aversion... stay away. Being a smaller bar and in Indiana the smoke pours forth from people like a *Pyroclastic Flow. The ventilation system has absolutely ZERO chance of keeping up. One side of the bar is less that 3 feet from the East wall... not many people pass through there but, when they do it's an awkward invasion of your "personal bubble". That said... it's a bar so personal space doesn't really mean much, especially after people have a few drinks. The booths here are particularly hard, I suggest sitting down gently unless you've got plenty of cushioning back there. Another thing about the booths, you're likely to find all kinds of change in the seats... change, cigarette butts and a coupon for Pizza Hut. Best bet for a group, tables. They can be put together for larger groups and there's no faux padding on the chairs to make you think they're soft. SYOY *Pyroclastic Flow (Noun) A fast moving gaseous cloud of hot ashes and other material thrown out from an erupting volcano

We also love the rotation of drinks and foods each month. It gives us a new reason to come back that keeps it fresh and interesting. We know there is a wait to get in at happy hour and dinner time so we check in and walk down to Martony's for a drink and some Golden Tee while we wait to be called. It's 21 and over due to Indiana law and the size of the space. It makes it a special night for just us though and it's also turned into a tradition to bring our older kids for a really fun evening out when they turn 21. I do wish they would bring back the caprese sandwich as a regular item on the menu. It was my favorite as a lunch time option. And I hope they NEVER remove the Dilly Dally Dip because omg it's the best spinach dip we have ever had in our lives.
