Staff was drinking while on the job. Group of people so loud and carousing with the staff, we were over it after traveling all day. Our experience was this was like the Franklin House of breweries. Hands down one of the best breweries. They have stouts year round and that is something that a lot of breweries can claim. Stouts are my beer of choice and they have released some of THE BEST combinations that have all been amazing. I live in oak lawn but will make the drive to enjoy some of their great brews. The owners and brewers are also super kind and will explain anything you are curious about. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a nice barrel room for groups who would like to do a tour. We stopped here on the drive from Valpo to Dyer. I have to say, it seemed like an odd location so I didn't know what to expect. We sat on the patio for a bit but it was too hot so came inside. The bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable, he also does the creative work and decorating so it was fun to hear about the brand and how well they are doing for a young brewery. The beer is beyond delicious. We love a good hazy and they have several on draft. I was very impressed with the place! We stopped at this brewery in our way back to Indy from Chicago. Really nice patio and the interior is newly finished with a very upscale feel in a warehouse area. The beers are delicious. We're big fans of stouts and both stouts we tried were well balanced and flavorful. They definitely put a lot of time effort and care into their brews and location. Honored and a little shocked I'm the first to review this place. I'll update it with pictures later. The beer is delicious! They have most of their beer to go. I'm partial to their dark beers which aren't ready to be put in cans yet so enjoy them there. It's a little bit off the main road but totally worth finding. It was late Fall and near closing time when we got there so we didn't see people enjoying their spacious outdoor seating but the tap room was fun with TV and a very friendly bartender/brewer whom I believe was one of the owners. I respect hardworking people and for Gnosis it seems their hard work paid off in great beer and a wonderful brewery experience . We will be back! read more
