As for docking a star, I feel like the brown rice was pretty hard/dry and some of the salad was wilted (probably from the hot rice). Also the nuts were weird to me but that's a personal preference. We then ordered a Chirashi bowl (wife) and assorted nigiri for myself. The chirashi was okay, decent but not anything amazing. Some of the fish cuts were a little odd like they were the trimmings from the end of the filet. My nigiri was solid and I appreciate the fish to rice ratio was perfect as lot of other places make their sushi with way too much rice to stretch the dish. The amaebi or sweet shrimp was fresh and heads were nicely fried and tasty though I wish they fried it a minute longer. Overall a solid sushi bar tucked away from the main road but definitely worth a visit!

The interior is clean and modern, with a sushi bar for seating along with a few tables. It is a smaller space so it fills up quickly and reservations are definitely a good idea, especially on weekends. Overall it is a great spot and I am already looking forward to coming back.
