This was my first visit at this FitLife store and met with the manager Lisa who emitted a great personality with a professional presence without exerting an aggressive sales pitch. Spun the colorful "Whirl of Fun" prize wheel at the front counter and won a free meal of my choice from the wall cooler. Lisa provided a recommendation for the bourbon street chicken and white rice with 690 calories and 73 grams of protein meal (thats a great protein to calorie ratio). The nutritional value was exactly what I was looking for in a complete meal. This location as most, provide microwaves inside the store to heat up your meal and eat on the front patio, take back to your office or eat in your car. I took my meal home and microwave heated the contents per the simple instructions. The rice could have been softer but the bourbon chicked had an explosion of flavor in every moist chunk and was pleased that there was plenty of sauce. Satisfied by the taste and size of the meal, but could not find the expiration date on the wrapper.

After having a delicious meal, I briefly stopped by this Whole Foods location to grab some strawberries and bananas to make smoothies at home. Inside was almost like a madhouse, with plenty of shoppers buying a variety of items. In the produce section, I picked up a package of nice-looking strawberries for $4.99 and a bunch of bananas for $0.69/lb. I walked around the store to see if I needed anything else, but decided to stick with just the fruit. Checkout was quick and I received satisfactory service from the cashier. I also noticed the strawberries were actually on sale, which made me happy. I look forward to another visit to Whole Foods to pick up fresh fruit for my smoothies or to buy as a refreshing, nutritious snack.

Many of the containers had BROKEN SEALS - labels cracked exposing the opening of the products packaging. I was SHOCKED they actually let them sit there on the shelves. Not certain what their protocol is for DAMAGED ITEMS - definitely did not look good. They did have the CORRECT EXPIRATION dates - 45 days out according to their PACKAGING The store looked very nice - did not walk around the entire store though. Wished I could have enjoyed a SALAD. Had to go elsewhere to eat. I did inform the Store & Manufacturing FDACS Investigators that there was plenty of PRODUCT in this store to test, examine. They were NOT PLEASED with me letting them know that. I felt that the GENERAL PUBLIC had a right to know that the items sitting in these different Whole Foods Market stores of Chef Christy's/ Chef Cristy's were fraudulently labeled - with KOSHER, GLUTEN-FREE, CERTIFIED ORGANIC, NON-GMO PROJECT, USDA ORGANIC logo and the other USDA CERTIFERS Names and Logos for approx 12 years thru out the USA. I had tried to time it for a couple weeks, and the other day, thanks to a heads up from my gal, I nailed one. It was about 4 and a half meals, a really good deal. They aren't ones I would have picked my self, but pleasant surprises all the same. The Chicken marsala meal was especially good. I wouldn't get the meal deal every week, but it's a nice way to save money. Whole Foods has many other pricey options too, that make your own salad is a great option too.

So today with a bit of surprise I was happy to see The Fresh Market had a bag. I signed up, ran some errands, then stop in close to the end of the window that was provided(8PM). It was a quieter time so i walked up to the clerk checking people out to ask where to get the bag. The bag boy said "I'm yer guy". I showed him the code on my phone and he hustled over to a fridge right in the front. Boom, I had a huge bag of goods. I love a surprise so I waited till I was hoe to see what what inside, Muffins, cookies croissants oh my! And a few more things too to complete the order. I will be back soon to do some shopping I think, but I'm pretty sure I will be back again for a surprise bag as well.

There's always a beautiful selection of fresh flowers and the day I was there they had gorgeous orchids very reasonably priced. The chicken cutlets here are very good and they run them 25% off on Thursdays. Picked up some of the Pecan Breaded cutlets and some of the Nashville hot cutlets. I've never had the hot ones before, but I'm sure they're just as good as the others. I find the quality of the food is a little higher than your basic grocery store. They run specials every day and if you join their email list, you'll get a notification in the morning and you can plan your shopping and save a little money at the same time.
