Thank you to TestCrackers for all the support in my Executive Assessment…read more I took the GMAT Prep Course in May of 2024 to apply for business school. As a non-profit founder, I was in a tight budget and Yuri gave me a discount to afford the program. He sent me a free Foundations of Mathematics book and created a strategy to get me up to speed in preparation for the course. I would not have been able to complete the prep course if it were not for him. Seth, the Quant teacher, is one of the most brilliant minds that I have encountered. Not only knowledgeable and an expert in the content, it is clear that he is also passionate about what he does. As I was once a teacher myself, I could see that he has a great understanding of exactly what each student needs in terms of motivation, confidence, or accountability. High IQ and High EQ make him an invaluable asset. He has continued to advise me in my Business School journey and I probably wouldn't be able to excel without his support. But Martin was my favorite teacher! Martin teaches Verbal Reasoning and he welcome all students to provide their opinions and challenge the exams. He welcomes collaboration in the classroom, is humble enough to share when he is incorrect, and makes the classroom feel like experiential learning even when its online and remote. In my opinion, this is the easiest and fastest way for any student to grasp new concepts and he does a fantastic job in facilitating. With that being said, I was able to not only finish my exam, but I also was accepted into my first choice business school, one of the top programs in the world. Thank you so much to TestCrackers and the Team! Your work is invaluable. Although there may not be significant marketing for this company, their value and the results they generate speak volumes and is a testament to the quality of this company.

You made the class very interesting and interactive. I also enjoyed your sense of humor.  I gained a lot from the class - not only learning the PMI way but I also gained some skills to be able to get back into the workforce after being out for a few years to spend time with my kids. I highly recommend this course and Hans!

Our instructor was Susan and she knew the material inside and out and was more than capable of answering every question we threw her way. She's also got a cool, dry sense of humor. It was difficult sometimes to get the temperature just right in the room, but other than that, I have no complaints about the Courtyard by Marriott location. Plenty of places nearby to eat at as well. I passed the certification exam on my first attempt, and I will be running some of my employees through PMA course this year.

I had an excellent experience working with Andrew. Before finding him, I had taken multiple GRE…read morecourses through GregMat and TTP and sat for the test several times, but I felt stuck and wasn't seeing meaningful improvement. After a friend recommended Andrew, I decided to give it one more try, and I'm so glad I did. I worked with him for about 10 weeks before my exam, but wish I started earlier with Andrew rather than wasting money on other prep courses. From the start, Andrew brought a level of structure and intentionality that completely changed how I approached studying. He's incredibly organized and creates thoughtful, customized study plans that are tailored to your specific strengths and weaknesses. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, every session felt purposeful and targeted, which made a huge difference in both my confidence and performance. Working with Andrew was one of the best investments I made in my GRE journey. Not only did I see real progress, but I also felt more in control of the process. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a more strategic and personalized approach to GRE prep (and a tutor who will keep you accountable for studying!).

Then, every Sunday, we would meet for 2 hours to review any questions, errors, and review new material. He helped me raise my score by 7 points by the end of our time together. There are a few things I really appreciated about Andrew in specific. One, he is extremely methodical with homework and lessons, reviewing and re-reviewing difficult areas. Two, he has a multitude of different sources and ETS material to review / complete. Three, and arguably the most important, he is supportive, kind, and genuinely cares about the success of his students. With a pretty demanding full time job, I was already pretty burnt out after a few months of studying on my own prior to seeking a tutor. Andrew continued to come to lessons with a positive attitude and always encouraged me to do my best, which was very helpful. You won't regret working with him!

I am utterly indebted to Chris Peckover and could not be more appreciative of his help. He is simply a fantastic instructor. He will push you with your homework, target your weak areas, answer any questions that you have and help in any way possible. Chris is a GMAT expert and will hold you to the same standards. If you need to improve your GMAT score and you're in the Los Angeles area, it would be massively helpful to work with Chris. It took a ton of work on both Chris' and my end, but we were able to bring my score up to a 710. This would absolutely NOT have been possible without Chris' help. I am so thankful that Manhattan Prep paired me up with him. I was recently at an MBA admissions event (at a top school) and the admissions panel announced to the entire audience, which consisted of roughly 300 hopeful students, that if you need help on the GMAT, seek Chris Peckover from Manhattan Prep (I was very excited when I heard his name). Yes, he really is that good. I am sure that students in his classes would agree with everything I have mentioned above, but I feel that I am especially qualified to review Chris because I hired him as a private tutor through Manhattan Prep. This was certainly expensive (on an hourly basis), but for me the cost of not having that extra help and custom curriculum would have been too great. My score increase would simply not have been possible without Chris. He designed a study program for me that was effective and efficient. Although it is expensive, Chris is genuinely a great person and does not want you to overspend. He was consistently giving me advice that limited the number of tutoring hours I needed and from the beginning, he made it clear that I needed to work as hard as possible outside of the tutoring hours so that I would need less of them. If you feel like you need a tutor, I would highly recommend that you call Manhattan Prep and request Chris Peckover. Hopefully he is available!

The in-person class was super helpful and something I recommend if you can afford it. If you're deciding between the online class and the in-person class, some of that should honestly be based on how well you can self-regulate. However, the instructor makes a huge difference as well. The instructor I had, Chris Peckover, was fantastic and made it worth the effort to go to class and of course the extra cost. He made the material a lot more accessible by giving alternative methods to approaching problems and had no issue explaining things again or trying it from different approaches. I definitely appreciated that he was really positive and pushed us to work hard as well. You could tell that he cares a lot about teaching and is invested in your success as well. It comes across in the class and is a helpful motivator. Hard to imagine a better GMAT instructor.

If you are scoring above 700, I would not recommend this course as it spends a LOT of time on basic, pretty easy questions. 2. The pace of this class is S.L.O.W - the burden on the instructor is that she has to address all questions on the online 'chat'. That slows everything down, with people who have not done their homework affecting the progress of everyone else. 3. I give this review 3 stars because I loved the resources Veritas provides. There is enough to keep you busy every week, challenging questions, and covers all 'types' of questions. The practice tests are also hard and challenge you to think beyond the superficial. 4. Hailey was cool & so was her TA. I appreciated her help, her determination to make class fun, and her prompt replies to emails with follow-up questions. In conclusion, if you are already a high-performer and looking for a 20-30 point increase, I would point to Magoosh or if you got the cash, then a private tutor.

And now that I've finished, I have one word of advice -sign up for Ravi's class. Ravi teaches the material in a fun, straight-forward, and very easy to understand way. The class taught me not just how to master the material, but specifically (and very importantly) the strategies needed to score high. In all of my past education from elementary to university, I have never had a teacher as effective as Ravi. You can tell he knows everything backwards and forwards. If you doubt his credentials, you should know he has both an MBA and a JD. There's really nothing else that can be said. Well he's also really cool. So there's that.
