Finding a new groomer is always an anxious process for us as it's not only important that they do a good job grooming, but also that they offer a friendly and fun environment where our little girl enjoys her beauty sessions. After some extensive searching, my wife discovered Pet's Friend Mobile Grooming. After some Q&A with the owner, we decided to give them a try and are glad we did. Gabriel pulled right up to the front of our house, introduced himself and showed us his setup so we could be at ease, and proceeded to get to work. He left the van door open most of the session so we could always look out our window and see our girl pretty relaxed on the grooming table while Gabriel worked his magic. He spent quite a bit of time on her in the end and definitely did not rush the process. And the end result certainly showed his skill at his craft and attention to detail. We loved his friendliness and professionalism. As well as the sheer convenience of having the groomer come straight to us. So glad my wife found Pet's Friend and we look forward to continue utilizing their services well into the foreseeable future!

They arrived right on time, parked a big van mobile grooming salon in my driveway and took about 90 minutes on each dog. The dogs are happy to not go into a new stressful environment and thrilled to get in and get out quickly. Paolo did a wonderful job and his calm energy worked wonders even on nervous Nelly Finnegan. I didn't have to drive across town twice to drop off and pick up. (Gas ain't cheap!) And, I had a very productive day inside while they were outside. Time is valuable! I tried Curly Doodle Dog Grooming last time and they were okay. This is a better use of my time, much less stressful on my kids and it only cost about $25 more total.

We used Love and Care multiple times when our standard doodle was still just a puppy and she was…read moreabsolutely terrified of getting into the car to go anywhere. The only way we were able to get her groomed was by having someone come to us. Her haircuts were always so cute, and she has never been fluffier than when Love and Care was grooming her. They did a really good job of giving us what we asked for in terms of hair length and overall shape. Eventually, we ended up going with another groomer for a couple reasons. First, mobile grooming is more expensive than regular grooming. I mean, of course it would be - they're coming to your home and have to have everything on board. Second, and this is the biggest reason, is that the last time we had our girl groomed, it was a warm day and she came back to us so overheated and panting so rapidly that I was concerned for her health. I'm not sure whether or not the van was air conditioned, but her physical reaction was disproportionate to any anxiety she would have had getting groomed, especially after having had it done by the same person multiple times. Because I'd read about a dog dying from overheating in a van with another groomer (not Love and Care!), I was really on high alert and concerned, so I made the decision to take her to a groomer with a shop that I know is air conditioned during the summertime from that point forward. This was my own anxiety and I'm not saying Love and Care did anything wrong, just that I didn't want to risk it. If I ever needed a mobile groomer again, this would likely be the first one I would call, I would just need to make sure it was a cool day before attempting that again. One minor quibble, and I'm guessing that it's not something that happens often, but we had them come once and ask to use our power. Not only our power, but they needed our extension cord. It wasn't all that convenient for me to stop what I was doing, find our extension cord and run it out to the van, and when you're having a mobile groomer come out, convenience is basically the whole reason to pay extra. And although it probably didn't amount to much in electricity costs to us, it was certainly not 0, and we were still expected to pay the full amount when they arrived unprepared and not properly equipped to do the job. I could have just as easily said no, or could have not had an extension cord able to reach, and it would've been a wasted appointment slot. It wasn't egregious enough to dock a star, but it's something to keep in mind if you elect to go with this company.

The van rolled up quietly, and the groomer was polite, calm, and clearly knew how to handle nervous dogs. My dog gets overwhelmed easily, but the groomer kept talking to him and giving him breaks whenever he noticed him getting anxious. When he brought him back out, I could barely recognize him -- he looked cleaner, softer, and a whole lot less scruffy than before. The "before-after" look really matched what I saw in their photos: tidy, rounded face, trimmed body, and clean paws. The only thing I'd adjust next time is to shape the ears a little more evenly, but that's not a dealbreaker. For a service that comes straight to your driveway and saves you a whole trip -- I'm glad I tried them.

What truly sets Brian apart, though, is the patience, kindness, and genuine compassion he shows my dog. I brought my dog Gizmo in for grooming and he was severely cut during the grooming appointment…read more When I raised my concerns, I was told that the cut was "very minor." Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. Gizmo was in pain for about a month afterward, which was extremely upsetting to watch. What made the situation even more disappointing was that the groomer offered no compensation for the grooming service and no assistance with his veterinary bill resulting from the injury. Mistakes can happen, but I expected the business to take responsibility when an injury occurred, especially when my dog was left in pain for weeks. The lack of concern and follow-up was just as disappointing as the injury itself. I would not recommend this groomer based on my experience. I hope they take situations like this more seriously in the future and prioritize the safety and well-being of the animals in their care.

**Beware** Owner knows his machine causes nicks and cuts on animals and uses it on them anyway!!…read more*See my screenshot where he admits this!!*. My dog returned from his grooming session with horrific injuries: multiple cuts on his penis, underbelly, and inner ear, leaving him in excruciating pain and distress. I emailed the owner with pics 2 days later (we were on a trip that weekend), no response. Then I call twice that week, no response. It wasn't until I called a third time (my 4th attempt total) that he got back to me. And when he did he was rude, insolent and refused to take any responsibility. Don't be fooled by his inevitable entitled, condescending rebuttal, he thrives on it. His text confession is a gut punch: he admits the machine causes injuries but shrugs it off, claiming "the marks fade in a few days." Unbelievable. See our conversation screenshot for that revolting excuse. This man and his crew have no love for animals--zero concern, just smug indignation when confronted with evidence. There was zero concern for my dog's well-being, only defensiveness. At no point did he apologize, acknowledge the harm done, or act like someone who cares about animals. You know how sometimes you worry that your pet is being harmed and you'll never know about it. Well, this was a nightmare come true. They don't care if they harm your animal. My dog's injuries and the owners response made that abundantly clear. Please don't use these people. They're horrible.
