First, I was booked in with the wrong type of professional. That ended up being a waste of time and caused delay in my orthodontic treatment, but one mistake is no big deal. Unfortunately there's more. I was then booked in with the right professional and charged a full fee, because this was the second consultation (even though they had made a mistake). This professional thoroughly examined my mouth, and then while we were talking he asked "you don't have any wisdom teeth left, do you?". That was very concerning since I have a clearly visible wisdom tooth. Of course I wasn't going to work with this person, so I booked in with another specialist and paid the price they quoted. Then, two days before my appointment, they asked me for more money (about double what I paid) and refused to see me without the extra payment. You can't quote a price and then ask for more money after the patient agrees, so I asked for a refund. I also asked to speak to the practice manager and after 10 days I haven't been contacted. This has also caused months of delay in my orthodontic treatment.

In the end I chose an invisible brace which I even had to point out to my wife at first as it was far less obvious than I thought it would be. It was important to me to get the choice right as I knew it would be in place for a few months and Dr Soin was really good at managing my expectations around what to eat and my oral hygiene during the treatment. After I already made an appointment with an Orthodontist (friend of mine) get my braces "installed", I contacted the Wimblesdon Dental Spa after reading a few great reviews and made an appointment to clean and fix some of my teeth. After the initial assessment with Dr Soin, he advised me that there are more work to be done than I initially thought or estimated and that it will take some time to do. Unfortunately for Dr Soin, I was not planning on rescheduling my appointment in getting my braces, but he understood my urgency and made it clear to me that it is very important to get the work done before I get my braces. Dr Soin then worked around my deadline and did a great job in doing so. Its great to deal with a dentist that his/her patients needs in to consideration and not just another numbered patient. I can honestly say that The Wimbledon Dental Spa has been instrumental fixing my teeth in the short space of time I provided.
