First, I was booked in with the wrong type of professional. That ended up being a waste of time and caused delay in my orthodontic treatment, but one mistake is no big deal. Unfortunately there's more. I was then booked in with the right professional and charged a full fee, because this was the second consultation (even though they had made a mistake). This professional thoroughly examined my mouth, and then while we were talking he asked "you don't have any wisdom teeth left, do you?". That was very concerning since I have a clearly visible wisdom tooth. Of course I wasn't going to work with this person, so I booked in with another specialist and paid the price they quoted. Then, two days before my appointment, they asked me for more money (about double what I paid) and refused to see me without the extra payment. You can't quote a price and then ask for more money after the patient agrees, so I asked for a refund. I also asked to speak to the practice manager and after 10 days I haven't been contacted. This has also caused months of delay in my orthodontic treatment.

The miss information across the dentists in the practise is beyond belief. When I questioned them about this I was told " well dentists have difference of opinions". I could possibly accept that however when it involves removing some of my my teeth you would have thought they would agree. If you go to a doctor they don't quibble not like these cowboys. I spent a fortune with them what a waste of money. Their work was so bad that when I went on holiday for two weeks I ended up in a French dentist twice with the dentists commenting on how bad the workmanship was on my teeth, this was two separate dentists. Don't go there.

Instead, this is a straight forward one dentist/one assistant type operation - so you feel like you get some personal care because you always see the same person. Plus the are both without doubt the nicest dentist/assistant I've ever been to. Appointments are precise with waiting and they don't muck you about at all. There's no upselling, and it just makes everything easy. The pricing structure is sensible and very clear. Top notch.

Now i will have to ask for my timetable, planner and all books from my teachers. The reason for this? The person who brought me here must be able to "understand English" in order for me to receive treatment. By the time i told the reception staff that someone else was coming, they said it was no use since my appointment would have already ended, even though there was still 10 minutes before it started. Was waiting for braces for 2 years and I still had to wait another month. Next appointment is tomorrow. I hope i will finally be able to get braces. Also, if anyone is actually reading this, i will be adding this review to other websites as well and the 2 reviews posted in 2011 were probably from the practice itself, considering the short timeframe, similar names and both of them having 4 stars.

Anyway, I noticed that my teeth were becoming slightly crooked and asked Dr Soin for his advice and I was pleasantly surprised at the range of options I had. In the end I chose an invisible brace which I even had to point out to my wife at first as it was far less obvious than I thought it would be. It was important to me to get the choice right as I knew it would be in place for a few months and Dr Soin was really good at managing my expectations around what to eat and my oral hygiene during the treatment. I had regular maintenance and cleaning check ups all of which fitted around my working schedule well. The staff are really great at answering all of my questions and reassuring me when I get nervous. My teeth are now straight and I'm surprised how many people have noticed the difference. I'm very impressed and it's been worth it. I would recommend Wimbledon Dental Spa to anyone considering this type of work.

Great work and service…read more.. After I already made an appointment with an Orthodontist (friend of mine) get my braces "installed", I contacted the Wimblesdon Dental Spa after reading a few great reviews and made an appointment to clean and fix some of my teeth. After the initial assessment with Dr Soin, he advised me that there are more work to be done than I initially thought or estimated and that it will take some time to do. Unfortunately for Dr Soin, I was not planning on rescheduling my appointment in getting my braces, but he understood my urgency and made it clear to me that it is very important to get the work done before I get my braces. Dr Soin then worked around my deadline and did a great job in doing so. Its great to deal with a dentist that his/her patients needs in to consideration and not just another numbered patient. I can honestly say that The Wimbledon Dental Spa has been instrumental fixing my teeth in the short space of time I provided.
