We got 2 pedicures with the shellac polish. For the chrome it's $10 more. The attentiveness of both of our nail techs was amazing or should I say awesome. Very nice, clean facility, 3 large screens playing the Food Network, my favourite , not too loud though, which was a nice touch. The pedicure chairs were nice, fairly new, no cracks in the leather, and there were lots of massage settings. After my colour was done I was moved to a really cool drying station, that has spots for 4 people to dry their feet and hands all at the same time. With big comfy chairs to sit at. The lady doing my nails was always checking in with me...is the water temp ok? Do you like the nail colour? after putting the colour on one nail, is the towel too hot? and is the everything ok for you? She also checked in with me half way through my nails drying, and sprayed them with something, then back under the dryer. I never felt rushed which is nice. The other one, when you go to their website, it tells you to message them to book an appointment. So i did that and never received a response. Turns out that was for the best though. Next on the list to try was Virgo. They have a great online booking system. Although, I messed up somehow and instead of booking 3 of us for services at the same time, the system thought I was booking myself for 3 services back to back. Once I realized the error I called the salon and they fixed it for me right away. 2 of us got shellac manicures and my boyfriend got a pedicure. We were all really happy with our services. My manicure was done by Emily and she was wonderfully thorough. I also loved how encouraging she was. I was bummed because my nails are short and brittle and she just kept reassuring me that we can get them healthier. She was also very patient with me when I changed my mind on the colour I wanted.
