I chose the regular polish pedicure and the girl who did them, did them fine but during the end she didn't even help to dry them out. Usually in my experience with regular pedicures, they let your feet dry with an electric fan or spray the fast drying spray, and check up on you as it's drying. She finished painting them and told me to just sit and wait for it to dry, should be good in 10-15 min. She never once checked up on me since, even as I was leaving. I waited and then after 15-20min I put my shoes back on and headed to go pay, while at the checkout I looked at my toes again and they were ruined. I asked the receptionist if someone could fix it and she said i would have to wait 30-45 min till someone could re do them. Long story short they fixed it and finally dried it with an electric fan, and the second lady who did it, was a lot more considerate when it came to making sure my toes were all dry before I left. This could have all been avoided if the first lady did this to begin with. What should have been an hour and a half experience turned to almost 3 hours. Also I asked the first lady who did my pedicure if there was time to get a manicure today as well. She told me to ask reception cause she only knows her schedule. She never even bothered to inquiry for me, or help me out to see if there was any room for the service. Overall it wasn't the best birthday pedicure experience. I'm very thankful my boyfriend booked this for me but I was unhappy with how the experience turned out. ***Update: Shay the lady who did my pedicure who I referred to on my review called me today upon coming across my review, and sincerely apologized for what happened and was more than eager to make my experience better by offering me to come back and redoing the experience. I never write bad reviews in purpose to get free things out of people but to simply talk about an unpleasant experience in hopes the business can learn from it and never even thought they would reply or reach out to me. Just the fact that they called me back right away to apologize made me feel valued as a customer and feel more than just a dollar sign to them. I appreciate businesses like this and I look forward to coming back and having a better experience. The next day I showed up for my appointment and we started my nails, 15 minutes later another client walked in stating she had an appointment. So, Mai checked her schedule and the booking was for the client that had just walked in. Mai began to yell at me about not changing my number and said that I didn't confirm my appointment so she cancelled it. I showed her my email and told her that I did confirm but she continued yelling about me not confirming. She stated that she thought I was fake or a scam because I didn't text her beforehand. I told her again that I confirmed through email. I apologized for the misunderstanding between us but she was still upset. She told me to move out of the chair and wait until she was done her client so I moved -- but, I was in shock about how she had just handled everything and how badly she treated me as a first time client. I've never been yelled at by any nail tech, lash tech, or hair stylist up until then. I told her I would pay her for work on my one hand and would leave but she told me just to wait and not to pay because she wasn't done. By that point I was holding back tears and just wanted to go home, so I told her I would leave and go back in 30 minutes but I never did end up returning because of how hurt I was by her behaviour. She was persistent on getting me to stay so I felt that I had to lie in order to leave. I myself am an eyelash technician and couldn't imagine ever treating any of my own clients that way, let alone first time clients. She lacks in professionalism. Moral of the story, if you are going to book with her for the first time make sure she texts you instead of emailing you. To her, you're not a confirmed client if you aren't texting. Do your best not to upset her either because she will yell and argue with you. I cried all the way to a salon where I got the work removed!

The salon has massage chairs for when you're getting a pedicure and they're very good about adjusting the water temperature. I always like it warmer :-) They have lots of colours to choose from either in plain polish, gels, or shellac. I have never had paraffin wax during a pedicure before but my feet are so soft right now. I was so happy because I had some calluses that needed to be gone.
