Tommy did a descent job on my feet although I said no hot stones. He started scrubbing my feet and was looking around the room distracted. He ended up scrubbing the top of my foot instead of my callus and I have a couple of sores. I did not notice so much when I was there, but hurt when I went to put on my shoes. He also used the hot stones. Kelly did my hands and asked how many coats of polish I wanted. I told her two and she tried putting on a topcoat after one. She missed some portions of nail and cut them square when I prefer them rounded. She seemed in a rush and they all seemed a little short staffed maybe? It was my first time here and although I was relaxed and enjoyed getting pampered, it could've been an overall better experience. read more

I went in yesterday and requested Pikachu as I saw her work here on Yelp and fell in love. It was easy to make an appointment over the phone with her. Yesterday I came in and had a wonderful service. She was gentle, sweet, and had great attention to detail. I had requested something I saw on Pinterest and she helped me with picking and mixing colors. All was fine and dandy until checking out... Pikachu charged me $70 for JUST my full set with very minimal design. Honestly, as shocked as I was I just signed the bill and left. I've gone to influencer based salons who have charged me less for longer nails. I'm still confused what the charge was for. Online with booking it states that it's "budget friendly". I looked up the prices before coming in and a full set with gel starts at $50 and for length it's $5 extra. As you can see I got shorter nails.. I'm still dazed and confused as to why I was charged $20 up-charge on just my nails. For now, I will be going elsewhere that's more reasonable. read more

I took my sister out to get her nails done for her birthday. I went here due to the good reviews but upon closer inspection, the recent ones look like mine. The woman who did my nails left them filthy, covered in dip power, the underneath filled with junk. She was wearing flannel pajama pants. She left the dirty towel from filing off the gel on me and went to to work on another customer. I had to ask her to finish cleaning the dip off of my nails. The sides of the nails were unpainted, and when I let my concerns be known upon checkout, they offered me 5% off. This was the worst manicure I've ever received. The women who did our pedicures were good, and I tipped them but I struggle to believe the woman who did my nails was licensed and I was scared I was going to get an infection from unclean practices. UPDATE: I added 2 stars after I got a call from the owner who was very polite and attentive. She assured me she takes sanitation very seriously and emphasizes that in her salon. She showed me a video of the guy opening a new box of tools while giving me a pedicure. I'm relieved that he had opened a new one and I wasn't paying attention so I didn't see him. However, I will probably not delete my review and I will not go back to the salon. Although the owner was very helpful and obviously cares about the salon, the receptionist handled the situation atrociously, so I can't trust that future experiences will be any better. To be clear, I waited until I was away from the clients to ask because I didn't want to cause any unnecessary scandal without being completely positive that he did not use new tools. I was quiet and polite about it and was met with rudeness and incompetence from the receptionist. I was waiting for her to either ask him (I couldn't because there was kind of a language barrier and I thought it would go smoother if she did), or reassure me that that would never happen and that I was worried for nothing. Instead of doing that, or asking him to come over for a second, or quietly asking him the question where he was, she was completely dismissive and said "what do you expect me to do about that" multiple times about something extremely serious, scary, and concerning. If she hadn't handled it so poorly I probably would've gone on my merry way and not been anxious about it for an hour and a half. This place is so scary and dangerous. I always come here for my pedicures. I went to get a pedicure today and the guy who did my pedicure used old products to clean my cuticles and then went and used the same products after me on someone else without cleaning them. When I asked the receptionist if she could ask him if he used new ones and I just didn't notice, she said she couldn't ask him because he's with a new client and didn't want to cause a "scandal" in front of the client. So she continued to allow him to work with POTENTIALLY UNSANITIZED TOOLS ON SOMEONE ELSE. SHE DID NOTHING FOR THAT CLIENT'S SAFETY BECAUSE SHE WAS MORE WORRIED ABOUT A SCANDAL THAN THE CLIENT. Disgusting and shady as hell. I could tell by her reaction that she doubted he used new ones too. She said she'll check the cameras and then went away to call the owner. I asked her if I could look at the cameras too, because frankly I didn't trust the receptionist to tell me the truth. She came back from the call with the owner and said the owner would check the cameras and call me back tomorrow. What???? That's how you handle a potential health hazard?? And when I asked her what if nobody calls me back and that I'd like to see the cameras too, she rudely repeated a few times "I'm just a receptionist what do you expect me to do?" Um are you kidding me?? Check the cameras? Ask him if he changed them? Do something?? You expect me to tell you how to handle YOUR salon?? Just so sick. And she was the one who said she'd check the cameras and all of a sudden she couldn't. Maybe because she was scared to check them in front of me knowing I was right? They are potentially putting all their clients at risk. If you have nothing to hide, you'd handle it better. Even if by some miracle he used new ones and I just didn't notice I will NEVER come back after the way this was handled by that incompetent receptionist. This is not just a bad pedicure or just inadequate customer service, YOU ARE PUTTING PEOPLE'S HEALTH AT RISK by exposing them to potentially dangerous blood diseases. For over a year, I haven't had my nails done because of this silly awful thing called COVID. So, I was more than happy to finally return. I searched far and wide for a nail salon that was still requesting masks of the public and their own employees - as well as practicing social distancing plus having the plexiglass up between you and the technician. So for that alone: I thank you, Natural Nails & Lashes. The best perk is their website is very clear and it's so easy to book an appointment online. A huge perk for an introvert like me who hates picking up a phone - and (gasp) actually talking to someone. My eyebrows were in dire need of help. Cindy was wonderful - and they made sure only one customer was in the room at a time. She even gave me advice to just stop trying to tweeze them myself because (let's be honest) I was screwing it all up. Then, to speed things up, they now do your nails AS you're getting a pedicure. What?! Amazing! I was in and out within an HOUR. That is unheard of for me. I was ready to be stuck there for at least 2 hours. I got SNS nails done and an exfoliating pedicure. All came out perfect. Also, Cindy truly helped me and guide me in deciding the perfect colors for my nails - she really listened to what I wanted. One of her colleagues walked by and called her a color master - and that she is! She also informed me that I have 14 days - if they chip or anything - they will fix it - for free. Amazing! Yet another perk?! How many could you guys have? Oh wait ... They even allowed tipping on a credit card. I opted for cash since I purposely hit up the ATM prior but it's a good to know! I normally do not write bad reviews unless really warranted...Been coming here for 3 years. Very Disappointed with the quality and the pricing and lack of customer service. Never have I had a toe fungus. Was here 1 month ago and the gal said you have an ingrown toe nail?? Ok so?? Did not hurt until she poked at it... It hurt but did not think anything of it until 1 month later they took the gel off I told them the tow is sore..and this is what I saw. They said nothing and said go see a doctor. They also charge $5.00 to remove gel and extra $18 to put gell on toes in addition to their pedicure pricing. Dropped $85 for a set of nails that were not shaped correctly for my daughter who was to shy to say anything. Refused to offer a refund or fix... Needless to say we will find a new place for our family to do nails. After 3 years they have really gone down hill. 1st time trying this spot I asked price for a fill when I called was quoted around $48.00 I went in with coffin shape I did have 1broken nail & expected to pay for that. I was with Vivian or Viviana and kept my same shape coffin my nails are not super long they're normal length. I got a solid color and was charged $55. When I asked for breakdown it wasn't provided and then I was told it was for the shape, since when do you not shape acrylic nails during a fill? I didn't change my shape. Anyway I think it's insane to not honor your own price sheet when providing a service. Will not be returning. She also cut my thumb and then put alcohol on the cut and burned me. read more

When they do pedicures they have a tray with stuff they have like their tools and they put a Rose on it which makes it look nice. I got my nails done the 10th and it's now the 15th of May. I had high hopes after reading the reviews but I did not enjoy my experience. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. The guy who did my pedicure didn't let one of my feet soak and went right in to clean/cut the cuticle and he made me bleed and now I have a scab. Maybe he forgot to or maybe me wanting a basic service rushed him to move on. The nail polish itself looks decent but it was definitely not a pleasant pedicure. My manicure was speedy and there was no bleeding but I am experiencing chipping of the gel on 2 nails and I just think that shouldn't be happening as soon as 4 days after getting them done. The nail polish isn't very even and there's a nick in the polish from where he hit it with his own nail but didn't take the time to fix it. I didn't ask because at this point I just wanted to leave! I wish my experience had been better but unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

I didn't want to leave this type of review I tried to go back and forth with them about a refund, due to not being able to make it back for redoing my nails in THEIR time frame. After all the back and forth then they say it's okay on the day I can be available? How awkward is it now that it's taken them forever to agree to it is it for me to come back and have them redo my nails.... super awkward and i'd rather just get even 50% back and move on with my life. Customer service was awful for this, I felt so bad I couldn't make it back in their time and we could have saved time not going back and forth with me.. There are a lot of good nail salons in this area so I would skip this place on customer service alone- even with an appointment, I waited over 30 mins past my appointment and they still weren't ready for my scheduled appointment. When I talk to the girl at front desk, I had explained that it was nearly 40 minutes since my scheduled time and I needed an update as I had other plans for the day and I asked how much longer it would be and she said 20 more minutes. I found this place because they advertised their hygiene practices and I wanted to feel comfortable going somewhere considering the current health crisis. Natural Nails asks everyone to wash their hands upon entry and requires masks. They manage at the same time to uphold good sanitation and provide the most efficient, beautiful manicures and pedicures I've ever had. I always splurge on SNS nails and the signature organic pedicure. To remove my old SNS, they soak my nails in a bowl of hot water with a bag of cotton balls soaked with remover. It's gentle on my hands and I've never found any other salon where I feel their nail removal process is so easy on my hands and nails. I have confidence in every nail tech I have received service from at Natural Nails. They gave me a shape I was happy with on their very first try! And their pedicure is heavenly. Came for a pedicure & fresh dip for my fingernails. Not a great experience in the pedicure department! The first polish that I picked, was so old & dry that the top, brock when he opened it. Therefore, I had to pick another color. Once I picked that color & he (David) started the painting of my toes... This polish was nearly so dry that he had to add acetone to it (not good). I requested a basic pedicure, which literally was them taking off my old toenail polish filing my toenails (he did not even offer to cut them down... Nor did he after I asked him to) to plopping lotion on my legs (barely even rubbing it in) & then re-painting my toenails with old and terrible... probably expired toenail polish. NO cuticle cleaning up. Nothing! $35 for this. INSANE. When I brought it to the owners attention, she said this is their basic pedicure way. I have had pedicures for the last 35 years... and I have never had a basic pedicure like this. Needless to say, I will never go back. The technician that did my dip nails. Did a pretty good job. She at least listen to me when I asked her to correct certain things on my fingernails. I am pleased with the fingernails and very displeased with the toenails. read more

This place is very mid & over priced. Kay did an ok job on my toes, I had a full gel pedicure. But I had to point out a very obvious uneven French tip before she was about to send me on my way. For mani, I think Tony, i asked to have my acrylic nails taken off & a thin acrylic overlay over my natural nails with a small french tip. He started off by saying that would be too hard to do since my nails were short so I just said forget it and do all pink. I then asked him to cut my cuticles since it was looking rough (they charge an EXTRA $15 for that when all it is a little snip snip?!) so I declined because that's nuts. And still charged me $70 for just the mani. Pedi was $60. And it looks like a child did my nails. The prices don't match the service at all. read more

Love this place. This lash salon is the most reasonable and they use high quality MINK lashes. I had tried 4 other eyelash places, and none of them offered me the option of using sensitive glue. So the other lash places caused my eyes to itch and water. However, Gloss & Feathers used the good sensitive glue. They got my business. So, this is not my usual place but I figured what could go wrong with taking off dipped polish and doing a basic mani. I should have known when they pulled a guy out of the back and sat me down. I was given scaling hot water to put my hands in while the chemicals in the saturated cotton were to work. I was told to put my hand in a plastic bag with the chemicals and cotton and then place my hand in the scalding hot water bowl. I could not do it. It was soooooo hot. It took at least 7 min to cool. Star deduction since neither the manicurist or the desk person (guy who brought me the bowl) added an ice cube or cold water. The manicurist got up twice during my manicure, close the shade...5 min later, close the door. Taking the old dipped polish was laborious since it costs $10 to remove it. I should have stopped there. As the guy was trimming my nails, he cut straight across and then filed them down even though I said natural shape/ rounded and short. I mean, why would you cut that way and file the sides down. Whatever. I should have stopped him then. He then trimmed my cuticles and ouch cut me. At least he acknowledged it and cleaned me up with an alcohol pad when he saw blood. I should have stopped him then. He applied the nail polish which was very mediocre. I can't be done fast enough. I want it to be over. As I'm sitting there, I realize, he has no gloves on while every manicurist has gloves on. I'm really not okay with this. Especially since I've have a cut and lots of lotion and stuff going on. All in all, I'd never go back here. Poor experience. The guy was Cleary not experienced I'm very disappointed but feel good about giving him a chance and not making a scene in the shop. Buyer beware. I missed my nail apt at my regular nail salon, so I thought it would be nice to try a different salon with my daughters. Seeing the reviews at this place, we thought we would give it a try. So, I called ahead of time to make 3 nail appointments . Two appts. were for full sets of Acrylics with gel polish and for my appt. which was for a hot gel manicure. I was quoted $55 for acrylics and $50 for the hot gel. When we got there, the girls were asked if they had a photo of the design they wanted and were then taken to their stations. I sat at another station and since I had a lot of hot gel accumulated, the technician recommended that the old hot gel be completely removed and reapplied. When it was time to pay, In addition to what I was quoted above, I was up charged 20$ each on the acrylics for design and shaping ( oval and coffin) and charged an additional 15$ for my hot gel manicure because it was taken completely off and reapplied. I understand this is a business and have no problem paying for additional services, however, if you are going to charge and extra 20$ for a design and filing or for whatever you are charging extra for, then let the customer know up front. Having said that, the girls got simple designs, nothing that warrants that ridiculous up charge. My regular salon charges 50 for acrylics and 40 for the hot gel and no extra cost for simple designs. As for the manicures, they looked great when we left the salon. However, it's been a week, and 4 of my nails have already broken off. My hot gel manicure usually lasts a minimum of 3 weeks. And one of my daughters acrylic nails popped off as well. Unacceptable. read more
